- Hello everybody! 🤗✨ Hollow beads can be so much fun to make but adding another bead inside is a challenge! If you feel that your disk build up is on the untidy side then you are not alone. I have always been shaky in my hands and after almost 30 years I had to own the fact that my disk technique is not the most graceful sight to see! 😂 This demo might even make you feel better and more confident about your own approach. So do your best but don’t worry if things get a little disheveled…no one will know when when it’s finished! ….Shhhhh! 😂. Cheers - Robin 💫🌹

Hi Brigitte!! 🌹✨ I am so glad you enjoyed this one! It does take some practice….I used clear for practice but any color you have a lot of, and can see through will work. I tried one with regular transparent rod and it was way to saturated with color and you could barely see through it! 😂 Either way,it is a good feeling to achieve this unique bead! 🌹 Hope your doing well- Cheers- Robin ✨✨✨

The palest of transparents work the best but I practiced with clear glass first as it is the easiest to see through! 🥰✨🌹

Hello Buttercup! I made one of these years ago…just one to see if I could do it, and I haven’t made any more until now! 😂 That first one took many attempts to make and I was so proud of myself! ✨🌹 A Very satisfying and challenging piece. I hope you give it a go sometime! 🥰🌹

Hi Maria! 👋🏽 I’m sorry!!😭😩 I was a total bonehead and forgot to add it in… 😭✨ Its no different from a regular bead but it takes some extra cleaning to get the bead release out! Hi Robin, Great bead in bead! Will try! Like Maria, I would love to see how you remove the mandrel(what if the inside bead is « stuck » on the mandrel (I often have to use a tool to hold the mandrel tight to be able to remove the mandrel)
Also the cleaning part is not clear to me…

Hello Sonia! 😃🌹 Thanks so much! Glad you are going to try! 🤗 ….I also use a pair of pliers to hold on to the mandrel when taking off the beads. It is very helpful! Please can you show how you clean off the bead release in the Inside bead? Thusnis so beautiful but bot get the clue of cleaning it
Hello Tanjar! 👋🏽✨ Thank you! These are fun for a good challenge 😃 I make sure that when I clean the bead, the center bead is also being cleaned at the same time. The bead reamer goes through both beads at the same time and cleans them up nicely. Next time I make one of these, I will film how I clean it. I will try to get this soon!
