@@chrispavlich9656 cause his voice is leaving one to the next without proper transitions. It's clearly due to weakness and he's covering it up with erratic transitions. Give him a clean song to sing and watch the flaws.
He was singing an emotional song about not having his mother anymore. His voice cracking from emotion at times is what made it so real.
