I hope he comes back again next year and just completely OWNS it like a boss. Either that or if he was on the voice he'd do great there also especially with his level of mini concert hype he always brings with whatever he sings. Really wish they would of kept him.
Unfortunately i think if you get top 20 (40?) or more you're unable to come back unless you go to a different country's Idol Show. . . But he got what he needed to start his career for sure.
Abi was very good, but honestly i get tired of the pretty girl with large ranges. This guy is the complete package and id listen to his music. and hes an entertainer.
When he snag his first line, i thought: Star. Winner. Artist. Then his showstopper song reminded me why hes here: He is a STORY telling ARTIST. The entertainment aspect is just a bonus 😃
I won't be watching this season. Love country music not a fan of Carrie Underwood. Judges should not be former winners of Idol just my opinion everyone has one.
If he had been able to sing You Will Be Found (Judges pick round) He would have Been able to come back and get top 3 no problem. . . But yeah i agree... he took a risk it barely barely didn't work. To much rock, not enough Soul.
Maybe it's because hes putting himself out there and is pouring his heart and soul into a song and people can relate to that.... and him. Maybe it's because you don't have to have perfect pitch to be understood and relatable. Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Bruce Springsteen, even Taylor Swift throws out some questionable notes on that first album of hers (possibly more). But again, she's putting herself out there and relatable. Sounds to me like jealousy is ruling your life because you've spent so much time learning perfect pitch instead of being a decent person and how to be genuine and relatable.
I call it personality and character. You dont need to sing perfectly to impact a life. You only need to sing your heart out. And he does that every. Single. Time. Case closed. 😘
