- There's a lot happening in the Robertson family right now! Sadie and Korie have a big update to share, and then they begin a "messy-ish" conversation tackling the ins and outs of reality TV. Should Christians participate in it? CAN a believer stay true to their convictions and be in a reality TV show? Sadie and Korie go all the way back to the early days of "Duck Dynasty" and how that came to be, why the Robertsons chose to be on a reality TV show, and why they're so grateful to YOU. Korie describes a particular scene where the direction was to bring the drama and how she and her sister-in-law Missy responded. And Sadie won't ever forget being told to tell her Papaw Phil "no" in a scene when he asked the grandkids to pick up sticks.

I think we need the Robertson family light on our TV screens more than ever right now! It would be so great to see you all back. I just watched all the seasons of Duck Dynasty again and it was such a breath of fresh air from all of the terrible reality shows on TV today. We need an amazing Christian family show spreading His light and love! I hope it works out for you all!

Hi I have a testimony for the family and I was sick and felt like I was dying, my gramps also had heart complications like Phil and I felt like to traditional matza bread, I felt like Christ in the tomb as the bread and it hurt and I felt the spices which felt like burial. I heard Sadie’s voice in The Holy Spirit to watch Phil’s devotional series. And I felt better today I felt your family’s prescence in the Spirit calling us to Church and country life. I prayed for my husband, we got married just like Phil and Kaye did. And he was in a dark spirit. Today we woke up and I was seeing visions of Heaven. I feel a million bucks better and I believe so does he. You guys are always ministering to me even Phil in our Holy Spirit. Please continue to pray for the families and I will continue to pray for yours.
Sadie I refound God a little over a year ago from one of your messages🤍 I can’t even imagine the people your family can touch if you guys are on tv. People are going to notice the light of the Holy Spirit within you guys and then seek God themselves just as I did from seeing the light within you. It’s Gods will of course but if he opens this door for you guys I know it’s all going to be for his glory and so many new believers are going to come out of it.
I watched Duck Dynasty as a kid/teen and I always saw that and said “I want my family to be like that. I want us to be a close, God fearing family.” Now with a family of my own, y’all are still amazing role models for families. I think God put y’all in the public eye for a reason and we would love to see y’all together again!
A conversation I had with my dad the other day was about why I watch so many game shows and it comes down to the lack of wholesome tv shows out there. My family loved duck dynasty and there is nothing out there that compares to the message of community mixed with humor and the overall purpose to serve Christ while following along with what your family was going through. I wish we had more wholesome TV shows out there - especially for reality TV
I don’t blame yall for not wanting to jump back into another show. I agree that was a different time, it was good. But now it’s time to grow and enjoy your families. I love y’all like crazy.
