one of the only channels that shows the rational thinking behind the movements hes doing…….surprised this channel isnt a lot bigger. top stuff my man 👍🏻
Nice tutorial, mate... No BS. Need to get yourself onto Abe 11 or 12; so you can dive into all the velocity-deviation, chance etc. It's golden for doing stuff like this.
100% agree with you on this one. I would happily purchase effects chains, patches..etc! Best content for getting the most out of Ableton for Dub influenced music!
@@bmorrisjr - Half the fun and creativity of dub music is making your own FX patches...... Go wild with the stock LFOs, Envelope Follower, Midi-Envelope, velocity etc.... And don't forget to make your FX-automation loops different lengths to that of your main midi/audio (see the 'unlink' function). JAH!!!
get a controller with knobs and map them to parameters. then modulate as you play to get more human imperfection. it will give the music way more dub feel.
This stuff dates back to the likes of Basic Channel/Maurizio/Rhythm&Sound, Mika Vaino, Wolfgang Voigt, Air Liquide etc. in the early 90s..... Or even further back; Lee Perry, King Tubby, The Scientist, Mad Professor.

The most useful chanel for dub techno out there
Thanks!
Absolute facts, also a very good example to others of how to provide value for any genre really, but as far as dub techno goes, no question asked.
Martyn Stützer has a few good bits also. but this guy is pure gold
@@fallenleaf24 Thanks for the reminder, turns out I am subbed to his channel, but it's one I've lost track of.
would love to see more stuff with Vital as its free it reaches everyone!
