5:40 very interesting considering the heavy Celtic themes with Arthur’s name and the names of several gang horses, from boadicea to Branwen, Ennis, and Gwydion
I’ve been watching RDR2 videos for years, from the goofy to the informative, like this- and I have to say that this is so damn impressive. Like I’m amazed at the amount of work that went into this. This deserves waaaaay more views. Big ups to you for real. I’m hella proud!
A note about Arthur’s remark to Pearson “getting up to in the Navy”. In the US and UK men would spend long at sea and it wasnt uncommon for homosexual relationships to develop. Since no women were around theyd get out their pent up frustrations with other men. This is why when Navymen would come back home theyd get jabs at for this reputation even if the individual never got on with this. So Arthur could also be jabbing at Pearson when he says “I dont want to hear what you got up to in the Navy”.
The two storms mentioned at the beginning, both the ones in Berthoud and in Windsor Colorado, actually adds to the credibility of the storm in the game, Windsor and Berthoud are on the front range/ plains, so any weather hitting them would also affect the weather in the mountains where it's generally worse and gets more snowfall. Source: I've lived there
I mean, in real life there was a massive blizzard east of the Rockies in 1899 too, so they may have enlargened that? In game it’s mentioned to have hit Saint Denis, which is accurate as it practically completely paused all activities in New Orleans, just like was done in Saint Denis.
Im sure that the people who will eventually come upon the channel because of the algorithm will say that it was a surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.

Honestly if ambarino is based off Colorado they should totally add a north grizzlies part or a plains part with a city based off like Denver it would be quite cool and give some towns and a purpose to ambarino
A lot of finished, developed area exists north of Ambarino, I wonder if that wasn't the original plan but cut due to time intensity or narrative reasons
The rum part. On my first cruise as a merchant mariner, the rules are we can't have alcohol on board although there's a liquor locker on the boat but some guys just stuffed liquor into their bags and the watch sanders just turned a blind eye. Pretty sure the Captain had a bottle on board
This is amazing! The research is clear and fascinating. It shows how thought out this game is giving a more immersive experience. Thank you. Good work.
The 19th century is such an interesting time in history. Not just for the United States but the whole world. It was a very transitional time I feel, and is when we can first start seeing many things that we take for granted today but were very new and odd back then.
