Indeed. Simone in my mind is one of the greatest ATHLETES the world has ever seen. What she does, the many factors that needs to be accounted for to do what she does (speed, strength, endurance, technique, spatial awareness, fitness etc) are way more than most sports require.

The time she withdrew from competition in Tokyo 2020, I knew it was the right decision. She lost her bearings in the air with the mental block and that could be extremely dangerous for her at the vault or other performance because she could land head first to the ground. I am glad she is back in her best shape.

A mental block will suddenly cause the natural instinct to experience a block and that will be very dangerous for them.
I absolutely adore this young lady, Simone. I am old enough to be her grandmother and I can't help but tear up every time I see her perform. I give kudos to her teammates and her competition too.tho. They all are breathtaking!
