So thankful your family is safe. Thank you for staying positive and not being doom and gloom. Life is about attitude and how we approach things. Prayers for all Floridians that are suffering
When I was serving in the Royal Navy on board HMS GLASGOW. We were called to do disaster relief on the island off ST Lucia in 1980 when hurricane Allen hit the island it certainly was devastating. So much damage caused. We had to do electric repairs especially in the hospital we had to fly food around to island with the helicopter to feed locals who had lost everything. What an experience. So do all stay safe and look out for one another. Great video stay safe.
Incredible 1st hand account. Thoughts and prayers for those affected by Ian. Hopefully they will get all the help they need in rebuilding. So grateful you all are safe and sound.
This made me laugh and chuckle so much. Loved watching them playing with the frisbee. Grateful you stayed safe and managed to make the most of the storm. God Bless Everyone.
Yes, many severe loss, injuries and people who have lost everything…and even though many areas has some flooding…the places that took the biggest hit and had severe storm surge…don’t have much to laugh about today…many prayers for those who had it really bad…so many youtubers are using this to make a good video and have some drama for entertainment …at least jill mentioned people more affected.
I am so glad you guys are okay! It's good to stay optimistic in times like these. I am from New Jersey and when Hurricane Sandy hit, my sister, dad, and i played frisbee outside too! It's tough playing that in a Hurricane, haha! Praying and thinking of everyone effected. 💛💛
Im so glad to hear that you all are safe! What made me happy today is being back to reality with my very first day back at work after a long vacation & trip to Disney. I do miss being at Disney but i will be back soon.
Just watched your ABC news segment here on UA-cam. So glad you all are safe and well. Praying for all that have been or will be in the path of this Hurricane.
Pro tip, accordion shutters for that back door would be great. A bit pricey but work wonders for what you want, open for the eye, close right back up when it gets bad
I am so grateful your family is safe after that horrible storm. In the future, PLEASE take these things more seriously. A positive attitude is crucial in all parts of our lives. However, we need to be grounded in reality at the same time. Take care.
So glad you all are safe, thought about you a lot watching all the devastation. I was not sure exactly where you live, thought it was Fort Meyers, and they got it really bad. Prayers for all those suffering and thank you so much for keeping us updated. I enjoy your family so much.
Happy to see you all are safe and sound!!! As a native floridian I've been through about a dozen hurricanes!!! My thoughts, prayers and funds are with my fellow floridians in southwest Florida!!! The Bengals had the fins for lunch BOO HOO!!!
y’all seriously bring such a joy to me just the bond and happiness that you guys constantly put out is so wholesome calming comforting and enjoyable to watch in such a chaotic world i really appreciate it ❤️❤
When Ryan took off ⚡chasing the 🥏disc, with that 60-80mph tailwind gust 🌬️💨 pushing it and him, he accelerated so fast, he actually blurred out momentarily, and seemed to diffuse 💦 molecularly, between the drops of 🌧️ rain😲‼️
Every time I hear your kitties names it reminds me of when my grandama named her litter of kittens after the twilight characters, there names were Alice, Emmett, Cullen, Jasper, and Casper. :) I love it!
Florida has really brought out the playful side in Mike. Hey Mike Ryan’s hat didn’t come off because his hair is his personal rain shutters. Glad you were all safe!
Thnx for sharing your enjoyable video especially the frisbee toss!! We’ve been living in Venice for 6 yrs but this is our first hurricane we stayed for while we evacuated to Charlotte for Irma in 2017. Ian was a doozy without power for 4 nights, flooded street that prevented us from leaving for 2 days! Except for minor damage and inconveniences I’m glad we stayed!! Heartbreaking for folks south of us who are living a nightmare each n every day!😢😭😱 Glad you’re safe and your kitties too!! We have two kitties also who were bewildered through the storm with the house being dark!! But we survived, unlike the 100+ who perished!! 😭🥵
What a great example your family is setting. Treating a killer hurricane like a snow day. It"s fun day at the park with the Donnellys. Will the adults or the children grow up first ?
Glad your all safe Jill; Remember as bad as this was it could always have been worse. All the rain could have been snow. That would have been alot of snow. Made me happy today was you being safe. Oh yeah and Ryuan making cookies. Have a great night and as always Keep Smiling :)
Tell me you don’t know what you’re talking about, without telling me You don’t know what you’re talking about. Rain (especially hurricane of this magnitude rain) is far more damaging than snow.
Glad you guys are safe! I live in SWFL and all of our beaches are severely damaged but my house lucky stayed super safe and we only lost power for 50hrs
Thanks for sharing video. Thankful all went well for yall and also for my family in Central Florida. Prayers for all that were touched by this hurricane Ian.
I have family down between Naples and Ft Myers. They are without power, cell service and some without water. But others have it still worse. Not our family’s first rodeo in Florida. Glad you made it through safely.
You all are extremely luck you didn’t lose power, I had to wait nine days after Hurricane Ida hit last year for it to be restored. Mike and Ryan are also lucky they don’t have much debris to pick up. Last year my pile of debris was six feet tall and fifteen feet wide and it took me four days to clean up. 🌀
I have a question for Ryan Ryan you are so amazing on the camera I'm wondering you ever thought about making some golfing videos and just wearing a GoPro on your chest and commentating as your golfing I think it would be something that would be amazing to see and you giving other people experience while you're doing that this something to think about you're just so good on camera
My grandparents live half of the year in Venice FL and they usually never go back down to FL in September but they had to for doctors appointments! They went through the hurricane as well luckily they're safe but they have no power! But when I tell you yesterday when they didn't answer our group chat for over 5 hours it was absolutely terrifying!!!
Glad your safe. My brother should be in Florida shortly to help with rescues. He will be helping rescue people using the us coast guard helicopters. Keeping everyone involved in prayer.
You have been through more hurricanes in Florida than I have. Woah you didn't lose electricity I have never been that lucky with a hurricane when I was at home. When I rode out storms in college never lost electricity.
I've lived in Orlando 62 years and this storm was ridiculous. Never have I seen the flooding like this. We were fortunate as to not have flooding in our development. Only had one of our oak trees come down and several large tree limbs. Every storm is totally different. 2004 we had 3 storms in 6 weeks was without power 5 days with each. Ian so much worse and just lastest forever. So many have lost so much.
Hi jill,This comment is bittersweet!!! Many Prayers were going for you all to be safe And unharmed,so happy you did!! And there will be days, weeks, months and years of lives so drastically changed as the ending came of this storm comes, The reality will be seen as you continue your Lives in Florida, And I know you will make a difference in many lives affected, because that's who you are!! And that's what you do!!! Goodnight Precious Family!!! 😉🙏❤️
Ummm, it's Green Bananas Jill... "You have to be optimistic to buy green bananas." Glad you are all well and rode out the storm safely! Cookies are always important 👊 Great job as "remote reporters". Waffle House is indeed a Florida thing, if you want Florida BBQ, put Sonny's BBQ on your to visit list. Terrific excelling by Mike for going out and playing in the hurricane. Power staying on through a hurricane is definitely something to make you happy. Thanks for keeping us informed and glad you take things in stride and make the best of it.

My family has been prepping for years. God bless you all!!!
Your will know by now but I think i saw two interviews?? I saw one on line yesterday where it was dark behind you and another just now on ABC you tube with daylight behind you (after the storm). SO glad you are safe I was quite concerned when I heard how close it was to you. All the best.
I've been thinking and praying for you, checking and checking, wondering. thank you for the update! I saw a video from the weather people that said alligators and crocs love this weather but spiders/snakes (poisonous too) come indoors and try to find dryer shelter so some people may find them in their homes so be aware. I saw a video of a shark in the waters of a street! for real! so scary watching the live wires in the water on the roads and people walking without shoes and in the water... there could be live electric wires, glass or other harmful debris, wildlife of sorts. I also saw some weather people in the eye of the storm. it was crazy windy then stopped for a while which could give a sense that it's over but it was just the eye and then the other side came through and wow, crazy. learned new things for sure. glad you got little in comparison.
Yes, so much happened with this storm. Being safe in the aftermath is just as important. Thank you for checking in and please keep those who were affected in your thoughts and prayers.
So thankful your family is safe. Thank you for staying positive and not being doom and gloom. Life is about attitude and how we approach things. Prayers for all Floridians that are suffering
Playing in the hurricane is the purest florida thing to do!!!!!!!!
You know it’s bad when you see Jim Cantore! Glad you’re all ok and made the best of it. 🥰
Really? Jim Cantore has visited here in Oklahoma several times. I've even met him a couple times.
Oh. Wait…

Noodles and cookies for these folks. And golf. Sigh.
I'm in Orlando and got super lucky during this storm. Only lost power for 6 hours total. Thank you for adding a link to the disaster fund!
Glad to see you guys where okay. Thank God ! Praying for those that lost so much.
I'm so glad you are all okay. Thank you for the update!
I saw y’all on the news. Prayers to you guys and those who were in the path.

Just watched your ABC news segment here on UA-cam. So glad you all are safe and well. Praying for all that have been or will be in the path of this Hurricane.

It amazes me that you still have power. I live in coastal New England and we would have lost power in those conditions.
I am glad you guys are staying safe
Glad to know you’re safe..been worrying for you!
I want to see Katie’s perspective!!!
Hope you stayed safe, love from Australia 🇦🇺

I saw you guys on abc news on UA-cam this morning!
Ryan stood impressively tall during the hurricane!
Ummm, it's Green Bananas Jill... "You have to be optimistic to buy green bananas." Glad you are all well and rode out the storm safely! Cookies are always important 👊 Great job as "remote reporters". Yes Sonny’s!!
GLAD YOUR SAFE THANKS FOR THE UPDATE 😀
My favorite animal sanctuary in Tampa was spared from the direct hit they were predicting so that made me happy!
Yeah animals can sense storms due to the pressure dropping and other things, I once had a German shepherd sadly she passed away at 22 dog years old. It was in the summer of 2012 it was a nice calm day, clear skies, no wind, and I started to notice our dog acting in a way she doesn't do and I was actually studying volcanoes and animal behavior, 1883 the krakatoa eruption, the person that was in charge during those times had a pet bird and 2 weeks before the eruption the bird started acting differently than it usually did and on the day of the eruption krakatoa blew its self apart (it was sitting right on a tectonic plate) it caused a tsunami that took many lives, it was so loud the acoustic pressure wave circled the earth 3 times.
Anyway our german shepherd was acting differently and a few minutes later our clotheslines were violently shaking up and down but we had 0 wind, so I went to hold one of the poles that were about 5feet deep in the ground, and you could feel the vibrations. And til this day I have no explanation, nothing was reported for earthquake activity and we don't have any faultlines (unless its deep underground or at the bottom of lake superior), fracking hasn't happened here (that I know of), maybe a deep underground cave explosion somehow
Also I didn't want to to laugh at the Frisbee playing but it was funny. Glad no projectiles got them...or an alligator!
Its OK- you can laugh...it was funny!!
Why y'all didn't buy a generator
So happy to hear you guys are safe! ❤🙌🏻Saw the news clip!
We live in north port and still can not get home to our house and we got damage we know cause we had family evacuate to our house
I’ve lived in Florida my entire life, but never seen damage like this. We were lucky compared to others. It’s so hard to see my hometown in shatters. I feel so grateful, but also such guilt. I wish people would stop giving you grief for a positive attitude. That’s the only way to make it through something like this. Glad you’re okay.
Its storm outside and mike is like”play a litle frisbee”😂
thanks. for all the great hurricane 🌀 vlogs glad you've. safe though
I'm so happy that you guys are safe!!! I would suggest investing in a generator & power station. I have been through many disasters so we are prepared in our home, in our vehicles, and if we have to vacate. We have a medium power station, mini power stations (with 4 ways to power it, including hand crank, solar, usb-c, and wall charging. It has a flashlight & flood light too) portable solar panels, a solar cooler, a car powered cooler, regular coolers solar/hand flashlights & lanterns, battery operated flashlights & lanterns, headlamps, a Bio Lite solar lighting system, an emergency radio (which can be powered by solar, hand crank, rechargeable batteries, or 3 aaa batteries, it also has a flashlight), hand crank chargers, solar battery recharger, rechargeable batteries, USB batteries, a battery powered pocket tv, a propane heater, a propane stove, a solar oven, a solar kettle, a Bio Lite Stove, 2 types of folding camp stoves, fuel, safe heat, indoor grill, sleeping bags, blankets, a propane shower, solar showers, Scrubba wash bag, clothes line, drying rack, plastic utensils, paper plates, plastic cups, water, food, laundry items, hygiene items, rain suits, multitools, games, summer/winter gear & clothing, a portable mini wifi device, portable dvd player, dvds, etc. The last things we need are a small camper, a solar generator, a big power station, and an outdoor grill (which will take us a while to get). My family has been prepping for years. God bless you all!!!
They can put some of that patreon money into getting a generator....
We have both! (But the generator is in Maryland where the power lines are above ground)…Thank you - that’s great advice for others too!
YALL WAS ON THE NEWS
Love that you guys are having so much fun!
Glad everyone is safe.
When we got hit with delta we lost power for a week
Your will know by now but I think i saw two interviews?? I saw one on line yesterday where it was dark behind you and another just now on ABC you tube with daylight behind you (after the storm). SO glad you are safe I was quite concerned when I heard how close it was to you. All the best.
My parents were watching the news and I saw you guys on there
