FM CB Radio UK - High Ground Operation Wales (plus Albrecht CL-27 Vs T2LT antenna test!)

Very windy, but a very enjoyable walk to the top of Twmbarlwm from the Cwmcarn Forest Drive - took the longer route in order to avoid a very steep climb (not fit enough just yet!). Some atmospheric interference but was able to get on the Homesteader's FM with just a Maycom Ah-27 handheld radio with an Albrecht CL-27 antenna - moved over to a T2LT coax dipole on a 6m pole to see if it made a significant improvement and worth deploying. As always great to chat to the folk on the Homesteader's Net.
