There are a number of TASes that are "console-verified", meaning that the controller inputs that were recorded during the creation of these movies can be injected into a non-modded, non-specialized, plain, run-of-the-mill game console, and they will produce the same results over and over, either in an emulator, or an actual console. Remember, there is no code manipulation in this game, other than timing, or careful actions. No Game Genie/Game Shark type codes, or altering of code to allow for power-ups is allowed in these kinds of runs. According to the creator's notes, this game took 25,065 rerecords, meaning that a section, or a few frames required tweaking or overhauls. That pistol that Wesker uses is actually leon's starting pistol. It doesn't do as much damage as the blacktail or the red9, but it has a 5x headshot multiplier. It's op as hell when fully upgraded

I am pleased to finally see this being accepted and published after almost half a year of waiting, it is one of the most entertaining videos I've seen of the game, and would greatly enjoy seeing the other 3 levels being done in a similar fashion.

Seeing this mode getting a TAS was a nice surprise. It's quite the unique and entertaining change from the usual runs, and very badass. Are there any plans for Resident Evil 5's Mercenary mode?

It's not aimbot or anything like it guys , TAS saves your progress in game , for example you can go to 5 seconds earlier, that way when ever he screws up anything he goes back and fixes it but we won't see all those flashbacks.
This might be a little off topic but there are a lot of ganado living in that castle. Like, holy balls. On another note, didn't know what TAS was before watching this. Was super impressed but then saddened when realizing this wasn't someone playing the game on their own. Still pretty neat though 🙄
