    Hi Stephanie 🙂. Your information is soooooo helpful! Thank you so much.
    I just completed phase II today! I’m starting phase III, and I’m so nervous. Can you explain exactly what these courses are about? I looked them up in the catalog and the description is not as “meaty” as I’d like it to be. ( I’m very nervous right now, so my brains not working as well as it should, lol) I’ve never inquired or looked it up before because I believe in just focusing on what I have to do next...but now here I am, trying to figure out what I need to focus on next....

    Hi! Thanks so much for making this video! I’m working as an LPN right now (I’m a new nurse) and I was interested in doing excelsior. One of my clinical instructors did it about 7-8 years ago, and she said it’s expensive and it’s hard but she opted for that rather than always being in a classroom. Have you enjoyed it overall so far? I didn’t know how difficult it was to get accepted into the program.

      It definitely is tough and requires excellent time management skills. I have enjoyed it. It’s allowed me to continue working full time while also completing school on my time.

    I don’t have any prerequisites but I’m a LPN for a year now. How much prereqs do I need before I enter the nursing program, and how long do you think it’ll take to complete them. Thanks

    can you do a video regarding some of the classes just to see what the outlook is when starting. I heard from expediences that the classes are diffracted?? if you could do a video on some of the basic classes it would be helpful

      Hi.
      They can be tough. You have to be organized and good with time management.
      Most classes have a quiz a week and a discussion topic that has to be done along with 2 responses to the discussion each week

    Thanks for the video, very helpful. About how long to finish (minus the CPNE)? Should I anticipate a year? Year and a half? (I also would have to retake Micro and A&P because they are over 5 years old)

      So it all depends on how many classes you take at once. I took 2 classes at a time for a total of 4 per semester. I also did take a semester off for having a baby. So it took me about a year and a half. It definitely could have been done in a year

    I've been reading and hearing about their pilot for the cpne, what does it do for your time there?......also what does their class schedules look like? I'm a working LPN and mom as well btw

    • @stephaniegravell879
      @stephaniegravell879  4 роки тому +1

      Madam Blade so pilot is something brand new and I’m not too familiar with it myself. If I was informed correctly it’s something that you have to be invited to. As for class schedule you can take as many or as little classes as you want but if you’re using financial aid then you need to have at least 9credits per semester. So I take 4 a semester but it’s broken up. 2 the first half of the semester and 2 the second half. It’s a lot of work but doable.

      Hey so clinical is a little different right now. There is an online option.
      Originally it was only offered in a few states with their specific hospital

    great video. I really appreciate the info! Quick correction though... you have to be a paramedic for this program, not an EMT. Paramedics have a broader scope of practice than RNs. EMTs are glorified Vital Sign obtainers.
