Great video Cedrik and very very interesting in so many ways! Good luck in Arctic Race, i'll be rooting for u, hope you can get a pro contract next year!!
Great video! How about a video on lactate testing? The equipment used, how often you measure and how you build your plan around LT1 and LT2 etc All the best for Arctic Race of Norway!
@@cedrikbakkechristophersen Well done in Arctic Race of Norway! The MOXY sensor and the use case for it, combined with lactate testing or as a standalone sensor would also be very interesting to learn more about :)
you have done a great artic raceeee, congratulations, all this training have been very productive. I will copy if you dont mind. Sorry for my English, im from spain see you soon here.
Congrats for the Pro contract. Just got to this video afterwards. I have one question, do you mix the sugar with something else? For example with some fruit juice or just with water?
Pretty nice insightful wideo Cerdrik thanks. Question about hydration during heat part, do you hydrate normally or you try to cut hydration during this hour ? What do you do after the session, do yu try to cool down the body with shower or the opposite you are trying to cool down naturally ?
Thanks for being open. Really interesting one! Btw, your weekly TSS is huge (and CTL as well) but do you set your FTP correctly because it's calculated based on it. If you set it lower than it actually is, then TSS and CTL will almost always grow.
Thanks! I’m not using those numbers to much actually so I know my FTP is set a little bit to low (360w). I have adjusted it a bit up now, but my ftp on the turbo is so much lower than my ftp outside, so that’s why I’m not using those numbers to much
Hi, you use the Moxy sensor in VO2 session for the warm up (repeated desaturation) or also during intervals? Also where did you learn how to use the lactate? Do you have any reference? Thanks. Great videos.
Yo Cedrik, Have you tested your heat training zone? 39.2 Core temperature seems a bit high. Usually somewhere around 38.5 is optimal, but ofcourse it varies from person to person and the device you are using to measure it.
Hey Cedrik! Just a question apart from this video: when you are doing a LT1 session why are you targeting around 0.7 on lactate? Is not LT1 around 1.5? Thanks and good luck for the rest of the season👊🏻
If you hit LT1 you will see that the lactate will decrease during the session because you are working in a sone where you are very efficient and you’re ventilation is pretty high.
Interessant video!
do you clean the bike after getting on the turbo? ive always been worried about corrosion in the headset and other parts of the bike if i dont cover the bike up with towels and keep my seat from drip[ping into places that could rust
Hi Cedrik, Thanks for the advice on Heat training, very interesting. So If I am correct you use this as a recovery training once per week, 7 sessiopns straight before your race? Thanks in advance.
How high is your LT2 P60 lactate & whats your max lactate for a 3-4' allout? Mine is at 8.3mmol measured with metcart (altough thats only possible for P~30) & i reach 18+mmol for a 4' max effort (6.2w/kg @avg). thx for your content 👌👍
How do you get youre core temperature down after the heat session? Are you not scared for heat strokes and how do you avoid heat strokes? Thanks for the transparacy

Thank you so much!
My god man you work so hard and so intelligently. Youre an inspiration to us mere mortals
Thank you!!
Thanks for the honest insights and explanations! Love it! More scientific Things in the Future please ;)
Noticed!
would you please share your playlist, seems pretty f-ing motivating?
I feel like the playlist would give me 20W more for every interval

Thank you!!
the loud music during the intervals is my low-key highlight, really loving to see you getting pumped :D
best of luck for tour of Norway

Can you do a vid on just your carb consumption perhaps? Training, racing etc. Thanx
I found a few ... Enjoying your vids! Massive up to you for the grit ...
Love the insight. Keep it up. Maybe some daily vlogs?
Thank you!

Thank you! I sometimes mix it with some soda kind of stuff to get some flavour

Try training in 38 and 80% humidity. Cambodia has that most days , you won’t last long
How much are you drinking during the heat session? Good video!
Thanks! Usually between 1-2L per session
Could u release playlist
i want it also!!

People are doing so much different when it comes to heat training, but personally I think 38.5 is to low.

Great video 174 CTL 😮 some serious load , how much do you weight !?
Thanks! At the moment I’m around 69-70kg

Hi Cedrik what's that application you use on your phone for indoor training?
The tacx app to adjust the resistance👌🏼

Hei! Føler pulsen varier veldig utifra hvor sliten jeg er, så det parametere jeg stoler mest på er følelse! Følelse trumfer puls, laktat, watt osv;)

True! It’s important to clean your bike often when you’re riding on the turbo!

LT2 lactate between 2.6-2.9 and the highest lactate I’ve ever measured is 16.4 er something I think.
Do you train often on smart trainer?why? Is damage for the Bike carbon frame?
How do you get youre core temperature down after the heat session? Are you not scared for heat strokes and how do you avoid heat strokes? Thanks for the transparacy
How many days before a race we can d an Heat session?
What do you look for in emg data? Moxy emg seems futuristic
Do you have a link to buy the core sensor
dukanauka.no/products/greenteg-core
Er det så lurt med caps innendørs? Hode og hender er de 2 punktene som bør vær kjølig✌🏻
Sant, men relativt kjølig på treningsrommet, så det går fint;)
Intresting that you are using pure sugar to drink in sessions, in my experience it made my mouth so sticky if i had more than 40g in bottle. Any tips?
Never struggled with that actually. Sometimes I use up to 100g per bottle as well
Red Bull GG!

What is that sensor on your leg?
A moxy sensor!
Too hard!

Why heat training after Vo2max and no during?

My man.
Table sugar is king 😀
i did last week 4 time the mont ventoux on zwift 6 hours total without anny fan

Great vid, although, why not just wear a sauna suit instead?
Maybe I should try it!
Definitely not going to try this
Aug 1, can't understand shit about that training session 🤣
