I bought one of these, loved it, sold it to buy something else. Went into a garage to buy a Triumph America, it was mint but sounded meh 😑 i spotted a dilapidated Red VTR in the corner, bought it, fixed it, cleaned it, love it 🏍️🙂
Hi Ivor. the VTR was the 2nd bike i owned, swapped a car for it. Loved it. Sold it after 10 years, regretted it. Bought a doer upper VTR that had the front auto tensioner failure. Spent 6-8 months putting a new engine in and like you learned as I went along, loved it. I'm still riding it today. It's not the prettiest looking bike, but it starts and runs great. Happy tinkering..

I've just bought one today. A minter. Have fallen in love with it already. It sounds like thunder. Incredible. And I think they look the business
@@aidens04 good for you, you'll love it, they're brilliant bikes (if you're not too far from a petrol station)

They're a great bike, I've had one about 15 years ago as well and have great memories of it.

I don't think it looks too bad, especially with a lower fairing or belly pan. Have you seen them in the Rothmans colours? 👌

That will make a canny bike for some one Ivor . The fuel light was making me anxious 🤣🤣👍
It was making me anxious as well 😂
Really enjoying your vids Ivor, despite the fact that I have practically zero knowledge of bikes 😂
Thanks George, I'm glad you're enjoying them.

I've sold this one now, but I'd certainly get another, great bikes.
