@@ChrisWeevilGarage thanks another trip to maintain your car paint from rusting, wax it with soft 99 fusso coat, i an using it on my 9n3 .absolutely amazing, the wax has teflon compound, the surface just repels water and you only need to wax your car once every year..it is that good

70's and 80's alfas were made from russian steel, unfortunately the quality was not that good hence the rust issues..most of the time the body will turn to dust around such great engines and drivetrains..its a continuous battle with rust when it come to these generation alfas..and the fact that yours have survived 40 years...salutations to you..not an easy task..
hi chris, u should pay a visit to 1 uncle whom live at ss4b. he own alfa 156 since 25++ yrs ago n taking a good care . i saw few time he drive and saw paint works has been done.. the point here is, how he spend his free time to take care this car!. i bet he more taking care his car than his wife!( joke okey, dont take serious) . if u accidently drive along ss4b/9 service road, u will spotted 1 alfa i the entire terrace housing row.. you should review his car man
Haha..! Kewl vid mate. Il diablo in an Alfetta! On the 5th gear being accelerative, its becuz the fifth is a 'live' gear and not an Overdrive. You get your topspeed in fifth, unlike most other cars of its period. The drawback being the fifth does not help in getting you better fuel mileage.
