The owner/driver of that RAM pulls his home (a converted horse trailer) around behind him to his next welding/heat treating job. Spends a lot of time on the Gulf coast and is currently in SW Wyoming.
I moved mobile homes for 30 years ,got two mobile homes totors, and it is hard to back up some things you you can't see, the mirrors on that dodge didn't open wide enough did they for that 12 wide? Good thing it wasn't a 16 wide, the whole side would probably be gone 😮
Most states require a concrete slab known as a pad be installed before a trailer can be placed in a trailer park so a trailer has an anchoring point an to anchored to the concreat slab the pan incase of storms such as high wind storms so a trailer does not shift or move
Brian Howard... we found another, shorter mobile that was better suited to Lot 4 and the mobile in the video fit perfectly into Lot 6. Just a little rethinking... wish we had thought it through a little better beforehand but all went well on moving day. Couldn’t ask for much better than that! 😁
That's a good reason to move it I guess I moved one like this because the back side of the trailer park used to flood and I wanted to get it out of that area so wouldn't flood out
As someone that's been moving mobile homes thats the wrong kind of truck for the job I tried that with a 14 by 70 and broke the exhaust and a shock it's best to use as toter that's what that vehicle is for but nice looking home
… but when you consider the savings… a few bucks in diesel fuel compared to a few Grand for a toter… the driver is a heat treater for oil pipelines. travels from the Gulf states to western US states. last I heard he was in Evanston, WY.
After the making of this video the dodge transmission shit itself allover the ground mopar cant and womt ever make a good reliable transmission and that's sad guess that's why they cost so much vs ford or chevy lmao I wouldnt support a brand that fucks there customers but that just me
Last I heard, Super Dave is still pulling his horse trailer all over the western and Gulf states on his way to his next pipeline heat-treating gig. 🤷🏻♂️

Damn, that Dodge has some super duper suspension on it. Barely even sagged

I think it's a 14 wide but it's a good thing he had spotters helping him.

Nice truck 👍😎
How much does that cost, to do that short move on a trailer???
It was an in-kind trade. A place to park a horse trailer for a few months in return for moving a mobile home. All good. 😎
Why did you move it from one lot, to the other, in the same park? Just curious...

@@DaveBowman345 my godparents moved their trailer from 5th street to 3rd because they liked that yard better had trees and was cleaner etc.
It's the better side of the park.
Very Good...

Should have flipped the ball on the hitch, landing gear just about scraped the ground.

My ‘95 Chevy gasser pulled both halves of our 62 footer four miles, no problem.
