Great job young lady. Since I first heard this song about 4 years ago I have listened to it hundreds of times. I listen to it at least once almost every day. I love the band and Tuomas' commpositions but it's Floor's voice that I just can't seem to get enough of and so I listen to her own UA-cam Channel and to the Beste Zangers 2019 Dutch TV episodes on UA-cam as well as to everything I can find from Nightwish. Of course I listen to Nightwish with Tarja and Anette as well, both amazing singers but it's the versatility of Floor's voice that draws me the most. Thanks for this particular version as it's my favorite. Keep up the great job you're doing.

Hands down the best reaction I have ever seen to this song, and I have seen them all (many of them several times). I am a retired old man, that does not have a lot of money, so I have never donated to a reactor before. Può cantare letteralmente quello che vuole, come vuole e quando vuole, anche l'elenco telefonico ed in effetti c'è un video olandese in cui lo fa 🤣🤣🤣. Anche i ragazzi sono incredibili anche se adesso la formazione è un po' diversa ed ha perso un pezzo importante. Sono tutti musicisti top level e il tastierista e leader Tuomas è colui che scrive musica, parole e cura gli arrangiamenti praticamente di tutte le canzoni ed è chiamato il Mozart del Metal. Se entri nella loro musica sarà difficile uscirne, io ti avviso, ogni canzone è diversa dalle altre e quasi tutte sono degli ottovolanti di musica, sensazioni, emozioni, è qualcosa di incredibile e credimi, lo dico io che un 60enne non un ragazzino. E poi i live, tutti a livelli altissimi. Oh tra l'altro reagire ai loro video porta anche quasi sempre ad un incremento di sottoscrittori del canale perchè l'Armata Nightwish è fatta così, chi reagisce viene premiato. Se segui la lista di Gabriel Bardac non sbaglierai. Floor inoltre ha una frenetica attvità anche al di fuori dei Nightwish come solista o come collaboratrice di altri gruppi e progetti come i Sabaton, gli Epica (cerca assolutamente il video Sancta Terra from Restrospect Tour) o il progetto Ayreon. Ok basta scrivere buon viaggio nella musica dei Nightwish e se hai curiosità o altro fischia, li seguo dal 2003 ;-)

Amazing reaction! So much work into breaking down each section. You also have a wonderful voice! I think the next one you should check out from Nightwish should be Storytime (also from Wacken 2013). I love it, and always have a hard time between that one and Everdream as to which one is my favorite.

Thank you.I like it that you first listen to the whole song first, and then analyze the various parts in depth. Just a pity you did not mention the various rhythms in the song. Rhythm changes add a lot to making this long song an enthralling continuous journey.

As a musician, I appreciate the tempo and key changes throughout the composition. The shift up a Minor 3rd, then back down a Minor 3rd gives the piece more depth. The beginning time signature (to my best guess) is a dual shift of 7/8 and 6/8 in alternating measures to round out as a 13/16 signature. Then they switch to a straight 6/8 tempo for the pre-coda. Finally, resting on the 4/4 for the majority of the piece. The key changes and time signature switches throughout the piece are done masterfully.

Put it this way: Floor still has the amazing vocal ability she had at Wacken 2013. Her singing this year brought tears to my eyes, and I'm a 40-year-old grown man. I don't know them enough to suggest you a journey to their material, but I'm sure that following the suggestions of Gabriel is the good way to know them....that's what I've done and I don't regret it. But regarding suggestion, I've notice that you made reaction video about Dimash and I would like to take your attention to a singer who have been a model for Dimash, her name is Lara Fabian. Maybe you already know her. She's at another level taking about signing....a real artist in every ways of word. Great job young lady. Since I first heard this song about 4 years ago I have listened to it hundreds of times. I listen to it at least once almost every day. I love the band and Tuomas' commpositions but it's Floor's voice that I just can't seem to get enough of and so I listen to her own UA-cam Channel and to the Beste Zangers 2019 Dutch TV episodes on UA-cam as well as to everything I can find from Nightwish. Of course I listen to Nightwish with Tarja and Anette as well, both amazing singers but it's the versatility of Floor's voice that draws me the most. Thanks for this particular version as it's my favorite. Keep up the great job you're doing.

Hands down the best reaction I have ever seen to this song, and I have seen them all (many of them several times). I am a retired old man, that does not have a lot of money, so I have never donated to a reactor before. Può cantare letteralmente quello che vuole, come vuole e quando vuole, anche l'elenco telefonico ed in effetti c'è un video olandese in cui lo fa 🤣🤣🤣. Anche i ragazzi sono incredibili anche se adesso la formazione è un po' diversa ed ha perso un pezzo importante. Sono tutti musicisti top level e il tastierista e leader Tuomas è colui che scrive musica, parole e cura gli arrangiamenti praticamente di tutte le canzoni ed è chiamato il Mozart del Metal. Se entri nella loro musica sarà difficile uscirne, io ti avviso, ogni canzone è diversa dalle altre e quasi tutte sono degli ottovolanti di musica, sensazioni, emozioni, è qualcosa di incredibile e credimi, lo dico io che un 60enne non un ragazzino. E poi i live, tutti a livelli altissimi. Oh tra l'altro reagire ai loro video porta anche quasi sempre ad un incremento di sottoscrittori del canale perchè l'Armata Nightwish è fatta così, chi reagisce viene premiato. Se segui la lista di Gabriel Bardac non sbaglierai. Floor inoltre ha una frenetica attvità anche al di fuori dei Nightwish come solista o come collaboratrice di altri gruppi e progetti come i Sabaton, gli Epica (cerca assolutamente il video Sancta Terra from Restrospect Tour) o il progetto Ayreon. Ok basta scrivere buon viaggio nella musica dei Nightwish e se hai curiosità o altro fischia, li seguo dal 2003 ;-)

As a musician, I appreciate the tempo and key changes throughout the composition. The shift up a Minor 3rd, then back down a Minor 3rd gives the piece more depth. The beginning time signature (to my best guess) is a dual shift of 7/8 and 6/8 in alternating measures to round out as a 13/16 signature. Then they switch to a straight 6/8 tempo for the pre-coda. Finally, resting on the 4/4 for the majority of the piece. The key changes and time signature switches throughout the piece are done masterfully.

First of all congrats for the way you chose to build these videos, it's only fair that you listen to the whole song once and only afterwards you "study" it in detail, giving live examples of your observations with you own voice. Second, a funny thing: I've noticed that when you shift to italian comments here and there I'm not able to understand them first hand (and I'm italian myself 😅) probably because I'm expecting english words... Put it this way: Floor still has the amazing vocal ability she had at Wacken 2013. Her singing this year brought tears to my eyes, and I'm a 40-year-old grown man.

I've discover Nightwish only about a year ago and it's already one of my favorite band...if it's not my favorite. I don't know them enough to suggest you a journey to their material, but I'm sure that following the suggestions of Gabriel is the good way to know them....that's what I've done and I don't regret it. But regarding suggestion, I've notice that you made reaction video about Dimash and I would like to take your attention to a singer who have been a model for Dimash, her name is Lara Fabian. Maybe you already know her. She's at another level taking about signing....a real artist in every ways of word. Just a small correction... Drummer Kai Hahto in your backdrop was not part of Nightwish at the time of the Wacken 2013 concert (assuming you're using that version). So your poster should be portraying the group with Jukka Nevalainen.

Hi, nice video, ...but i think you have watch this video before this because i miss your expresion on your face by the last note.... but oke, normal i wil react with : And again a soul is taken by our Dutch Valkyrie Goddes of Metal, more Floor Jansen, watch the beste zangers 2019, she sings in different styles and different languages, she sings O Mio Babbino Caro and from the gamecube game Final Fantasy Chronicals, Sound of the Wind... there is even a video with all the endings of GLS and a video where she even sings the Yellow Pages on a radio-show.. She is working on different projects of Ayreon too, The valley of the queens and The Day The World Break Down are good ones to start with...

Grazie in anticipo. NB: la cantante Asami viene dall'R&B e la band è composta solo da donne con il migliore duo di chitarre attuale a detta degli esperti e con una bassista nuova che è un prodigio di 20 anni e una batterista che viene considerata una delle migliori al Mondo (anche tra gli uomini) per la velocità di esecuzione che mantiene imperterrita per due ore di spettacolo senza perdere un solo bit.
