About to use a very similar set up to this for the second time at a gig. It worked perfectly last time, really appreciate you putting this together dude!
I have a very similar case but mine also has a Raspberry PI running samplerbox for the backing tracks and click so I don't have to use my phone, way more reliable, works perfectly 100% of the time
Thanks for the video brotha, got a similar setup and was looking for videos on best way to put everything in the box with the foam cutouts. Did you ever get around to doing yours? Also what group are you referring too? Facebook or forum ?
Thanks man, hope it helped! The group I'm referring to is a FB group called "Metal Drummer Nerdz" I still haven't secured everything in the box, but it doesn't really need it, nothing ever moves around too much
Great video, man! One question for ya… do you find the signal through a DI super quiet and thin? If I plug a 1/4” directly into my board, it’s beefy and the levels are great but if I go out of the L output and then into my DI, and then in to my board, the signal is so quiet and thin. Not sure what the fix is here… tried two different DI’s, too… any thoughts?
Thanks for watching dude! If I understand your question correctly, you're going out the L output on the mixer? Meaning the left output? You may be losing signal because only the left side is going out not both. Correct me if I misunderstood your question
@@LordAlwyn Yup, I'm going out of the L output on the TM2 into a DI and then using the R output to go directly into my small mixer. My DI doesn't have a 1/4" output, just an input
@@drewpeacock009 Are you using both L and R on the tm2 for two kicks or something? Or can you get away with using one output? If you're using 1 trigger, I would go out from the L output on the tm-2 into your mixer. Then from your mixer you should be able use an output that can go to the DI Input. Then Out from your DI to a PA or board for stage volume. helpful?
@@LordAlwyn I'll give it a shot and see if it works - my original plan was to go out of the TM2 (L) to the DI then to FOH and then use the R output of the TM2 to my mixer
Thank you really helped me-doing the same thing for Live shows. Mike D.
Dude, so glad I could help out! Hope it works for ya!

Not really many TM-2 videos out there at all - particularly in relation to connecting your TM-2 to a desk in the simplest form.
dude this is super helpful. I have the same mixer and DI box too. One question-- What case are you using to hold all that?
So glad it helped dude! The case is a Pelican 1550 Case
