Ferrari 360 Engine ECU Problem and Fix F360

An ever increasing issue with the Ferrari 360 being 20 years old is the Engine ECU. In the video I show the two faults and beeps that I was seeing on my 360, parts I had to replace and location.
Note: This is the same for Modena, Spider & Stadale f1 or Manual cars

Does it matter how the wiring harnesses are replaced? Meaning is there a left one and a right one for each ECU board?

Hi Rata. 360 owner with seemingly similar problems. Sudden lack of throttle out of nowhere. CEL + beeps until car gathered itself but would happen again. Codes don't seem to point to much. Can you remember what codes it was throwing when you went through this?

sorry to hear that and unfortunately it was so long ago when this happened I don't remember the codes it flagged up

@@Ratarossa no worries. Just realised that the P0600 serial comm fail that it is throwing may actually be more than just a bad OBD connection that I previously thought it was. Strange thing about this problem is that it only seems to happen when I'm asking for decent throttle? It seems OK at constant speed / low throttle 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I lost power from the entire right bank. Tried to check for codes, but just got comm errors from the ECUs. No CEL or any other unusual things.Replaced the right ECU with a used one from same year and model. Can't get the car to fire. Acting like immobilizer is engaged, but the immobilizer LED on the dash goes out and I get the happy 2 chirps.
Thoughts from the gallery?

For the record, this was a very weird issue I had with a new alternator and a loose extra positive cable. Once that was secured this issue went away.

How did you re flash the ecu

I used a company here in the Uk who refreshed them with new software and added a extra 20bhp to the map
