Hey, I’m so sorry to say that Luca passed away in late 2020. We were in 5th grade together.

I am sorry to report that Luca Iacono passed away at 11 years old in November 2019. I read his obituary and cried and cried. I am praying for his Dad and his Mom. I prayed for this kid, I felt he was amazing young person. I loved this kid! At least, Luca got his Make- A-Wish and met Aaron Judge. Had this boy lived I could see him turning pro someday. Rest in Peace, Luca.

I'm a lifelong Yankees fan but I respect the Red Sox (and their fans btw) - lol, maybe a bit more this year. The Sox are playing good old fashioned baseball - the big ball, the little ball, base running, defense, and pitching. That will usually land you in first place. Hope Luca gets better.

Even though I'm all Red Sox fan this is awesome. Good bunch of guys. I had leukemia 3 years ago and lot of chemotherapy at 38 years old. I could never imagine the stress of my child having to go through that. Make a wish does great work

You do realize that Judge would be 36, Stanton going on 39, Sanchez and Bird would be 35, Didi would be 38, Gardy would be 45, Andujar and Gleyeber are actually reasonable they would be 33 (Andujar) and 31 (Torres) Luca would be 19, assuming he would be up 3 weeks in to the year for an extra year of control.
