I was hit with the power of God in my living room with electricity surging through my body for several hours. The LORD told me I was healed of hepatitis c and stage 2 fibrosis. I don’t think she’s truly saved. If you listen to her testimony she talks of an experience. She doesn’t talk of repentance nor salvation. I think it’s important to allow the Word of God to shape our experiences, not to let our experiences shape the word of God. I’ve never heard her talk about sin and the affects of it, I’ve never heard her talk about hell and the separation from Gods presences because we deny him.

I always side-eye someone who is able to roll off into a spiel of "tongues" so easily during their story-telling. The fact that a person is able to imitate her or another's "tongue" while telling a story is just another marker of a false tongue. Typically, you'll hear that same person speaking that same "tongue" during the worship service (without an interpreter, of course), and claiming it to be an utterance of the Holy Spirit.
Ahh you always side eye. I never heard that saying before. But clearly its a way of mocking and scoffing and looking for someone else to agree with you so you can get a lil pat on the back for you,re so powerful powers of deduction. How come none of you shudder at James when he WARNS you NOT to become teachers but yall think you are teachers and above the more severe punishment that comes from teaching without understanding??

We danced in church last week (first time we ever did), for we were so happy to know the Word, Jesus personally and because we know our redeemer lives! But it was not out of control, and respectfull to God in every way, after a well balanced sermon and well controlled praise. It was joyfull but we didn't lose our minds.
People in church don't care about the true gospel they only care about the show.
This is the “hold on let me put myself over the whole time and reference Christ at the last minute” kind of sermon.

I attended ORU and graduated in 2017. I still know many of the people in the audience. Crazy to think that most of the students accept these sermons without questioning the teaching or fact checking it with the Bible.

What do l think? I think anyone that has imparted demons in the house of God should be rr e allowed to speak again. Regardless of the fact she hasn't acknowledged this or publicaly repented. This is a false movement altogether. I was in it.l was set free and the people that were in it were more strange and messed up than anyone l met before becoming a Christian. I don't think she will ever repent l think her conscious is seared. Her only redeeming feature is that her husband is even more blasphemous. I thank God l was set free from the NAR.

She’s not pretending to be drunk. That is a very real spiritual thing that happens to people. The question is only is it from God.
The tongues she practices is her theological understanding of what tongues is. I don’t personally agree that it is tongues and I don’t think one should do that without an interpretation. But I try to remain humble regarding this.

Simple hypnosis. I've seen a few hypnotist shows years ago. The comedy hypnosis where the people that are "under" do pretty much whatever they are told to do. Walk like a chicken, bark like a dog, etc. With no recollection that they were even hypnotised after they left the building I might add. It never even crossed my mind at that time that the devil would use hypnosis to manipulate entire congregations. You can be a genius, extremely well versed in the Bible and be totally hypnotized by these speakers. Unintentionally, they have learned from people like Benny Hinn and other TV evanvangilists how to put people into a hypnotic state. This may answer questions that I see frequently on UA-cam posts that ask "How can people fall for these false prophets"? That's how it is done.

The people did not call them drunk because they could not understand the language, they called them drunk because the apostles were proclaiming the righteous and awesome and hard to understand miracles that God has done through the saving work of the cross.
The Pentecostal church and NAR movement has taken this passage way out of context.

I wonder what happened to the young man she laid hands on who then started to cry, then writhe around in agony? I've never seen anything quite so graphic and disturbing. If this isn't demonic possession I don't know what is! I and others got pretty near this state, so I can say this. I can promise you there's no fun or liberty in roaring like a tiger, rolling around the floor crying like a banshee, having demons sitting on you while you're half asleep, or demonic fingers touching you sexually! You would not want what resulted in my life and others to happen to you or someone you love.
It's crazy how the Holy Spirit is bearing witness that this is a work of the flesh. The only way to tell is through having the true Holy Spirit. Early on in my Christian life, I was drawn to her because we had so much in common. I even wanted to go to her training school Iris at one point but was prohibited by the Spirit. As I grow closer to the Spirit, I can just tell now that this is a work of the flesh. Wow.

There’s absolutely nothing you say I disagree with! I went to two Pentecostal churches, Assemblies of God (Trinitarian) and United Pentecostal Church UPCI (Oneness of God believers) the former once told me, go home and practice speaking in tongues. I immediately thought, surely if the Gift of Tongues (their version of it anyway) is genuine, it would be spontaneous, I wouldn’t need to practice!
The latter seemed very loving and giving, initially, but were preaching a watered down prosperity gospel, and I just didn’t see it until I’d left. The other thing I really didn’t like was, we weren’t allowed to call the pastor anything other than pastor, his first name we weren’t allowed to say, in fact his wife always referred to him as “my husband” she’d NEVER utter his name, then, on one occasion when we were talking together alone, she used his name accidentally then very, very quickly corrected herself, to say “my husband” and it kinda confirmed to me that they had a “Superiority complex” I thought to myself how sad, because Jesus Christ allows us to use His name, He wants us to tell people His name, so people can come to Him! But this man, a mere pastor, wouldn’t even allow His wife to say use his name in front of the congregation, it always had to be “my husband” so eventually I left!
Retrospectively, these church organisation who claim God to be “One” don’t see what I see, because, since 1st January 2016 I have been studying the Bible, with the help of commentaries, books and an online course with the Israel Bible College, called Jewish Insights into Scriptures, and I just cannot see in the Bible anything other than the a trinity! 🙏🙏🙏9

I attended a conference where Heidi took the stage. I felt guilty as her behaviour made me so uncomfortable. I became less inclined to share my concerns about her and many other Charismatic leaders with my husband as he said i was just being negative.....im so confused. Thankyou for sharing

That footage of Heidi Baker is from 2007 on CTF channel, so you can still watch it in full and in context. That's the one of her in the red jacket with her rolling on the floor, not the one that is later. The music at the beginning is pleasant enough, but it is the teaching and theology that is mostly off centre. Also Mother Teresa is believed to have lost her 'faith' just before her death, please check that out too. Folks out there always do your research on the people critiqued on Y.T. or elsewhere. This is not about hatred towards these people, but simply to warn you about their 'teaching' which is indeed, the biblical thing to do. In this second longer clip, it looks more and more like mind control to me and nothing to do with the Holy Spirit in any shape form or fashion!

You know what's amazing brother. The parable of the ten virgins and the oil... People in this movement believe that this false "Holy Spirit" and the "miracles" is that oil. But the true oil is standing for the truth of scripture... This is frightening. And I know she is imparting demons because when I had demons enter me before I was delivered of course it felt like parts of my body was in fire.. and like claws were ripping me apart... This is the same "Holy Spirit" that comes upon these people.
If I were in this service I would be wondering where the cocktails are.

I would LOVEEEEE for you to do a list video like this for The Passion Translation. Mike Winger has a tone of uploaded content regarding TPT. He hired scholars and translators to review specific books and write peer reviewed papers on their findings. The only downside is the videos are LONG. I suggested he make bite sized videos in list format so to make them more digestable. He said he would allow anyone else to use his content to edit such a video together but would like to see it first before the person uploads it.

What is it with her and "Shaka Babba/Rabah"? I don't know that I've heard other hyper-charismatics repeat the same sounds so often when speaking in their gibberish tongues. Is that the name of her pet demon? Honestly, I didn't hear a gospel message in that whole condescending, self-centered story. She did say something briefly about being a sinner, but there was nothing about needing Jesus or His sacrifice to save her from those sins.

I've had more what? what? moments watching this shaking my head no! way! and then even Jesus warned the disciples about calling fire to burn. Everything she was saying was utterly disturbing. Yes it is the holy ghost that makes intercession for us. Yes it is the holy ghost that comforts us. Yes it is the holy ghost that helps us to pray in the will of God, and so so so much more that he does. Scripture also says no man can come unto the Father except the spirit (holy spirit) draws him. Anyway not saying any more about that at this time. What I would like to say about people going to the alter is to be in acknowledgement that they are a sinner in need of the saving grace of the risen savior Jesus Christ to be transformed by the power of God to turn away from all sin and live a life for Christ by the power of God, being continuously sanctified daily. More energy? and more of the other stuff she was saying? Really? All those souls that fell for that...May the Lord have touched each one of them and brought them to true repentance into his salvation.
This was heart wrenching to watch and to think I was one of these years ago that would flock to these kind of messages so I know how deceiving this mess is when I think
back to those times watching stuff like this. BTW hmmmm she said she couldn't read or spell but hand a hand written notations that she was reading,or was she? Perhaps she had that memorized too.
I always look for these people that have the bible opened up on the podium but never bother to read out of it...hmmmmm. Not one thing she was teaching came directly from the word of God and I was looking some for some way to see she was.
In the last days there are many false teachers,false prophets,false evangelists,false ministers.
Even the things I just typed might even be out of line in my observations but this one thing no one, nor I. Will ever,ever,ever go wrong as long as everything stays in context of the scriptures of the bible (preferably kjv).
God isn't about being a sideshow or a performer. He is about souls, humility, us getting to know Him in all of His Holiness that He is about our having a relationship with Him that is lovely,honest,true,pure,with righteous,good,morality bringing excellence. Giving Him praise in all things...yes even in times of tribulation and trials.
Case in point just last Tuesday I had my appendix removed and now it's Friday and recovering at home before having to go back to work in a few weeks. God has provided me with excellent hospital staffing,a great surgeon,oh and the drugs taken like I'm suppose to. No matter what we go through God is for us.
Also God will give us more of His holy ghost as we ask Him...hmmmmm that's what the bible says. We ask God for more of His Holy Ghost. No where in scripture does it say to pray to the spirit of God, He makes intercession for us.

Jesus said when the Comforter (the Holy Ghost) is come he would not speak of Himself. Another thing that angers me is when she says Holy Spirit without the word "the".

This lady came up on stage at The altar conference in Fresno, Ca . It was weird and totally shook up the house after a night of awesome worship and testimony. How do they speak and never read one word of a tangible Bible?? You never even see them open one. There's never even one around. They're always paraphrasing scripture. Disturbing. I don't believe everything Heide Baker or Benny Hinn or any of the teachers that will go off scripture But the scripture 1 Corinthians 11-4-5; 14;26-32 explains better on women teaching in the Church.And so should be as history has shown Men have continued let us down as teachers in the church with the disgust of sexual sin or stealing ,lying.So just because they are men they are still sinners and God instructs to learn from each other because no one is better then the other as history has shown.The only problem I have with Heide and other Teachers that teach like she is they will not line up with the word as a leader they start speaking in tongues teach this is the only evidence of Spirit Baptism God said if the message is from me let there be one speaking in tongues and two interpreters otherwise it could be a demon cursing and how can it edify if a new believer walks in and its chaos no interpreters just people falling and shaking all over speaking in tongues God is not a God of confusion Not that the Holy spirit cant knock you down its happened to me but God does not do it cookie cutter style the way these teachers are promoting .Its basically socio psychosomatic manipulation and that's where it gets dangerous and has gone way off the end .They say oh your special if you speak in tongues committing division because not everyone speaks in tongues and the ones that do are acting to seem special .God used day of Pentecostal for people of different languages to edify the disciples were not speaking jibber jabbish .I witnessed a lady from Congo speaking in a English tongue as there were some college kids there and God spoke through her to them mind you her grammar was excellent the woman never went to school or can even write.Now that's what I am talking about not all the heresy going on in churches today allowing Satan to turn Gods words around and causing confusion all for the sake of getting more folks to glorify them they become vain and got off track. and stop using peoples emotion for your Glory Stop it!!

Why do we say "THE Holy Spirit" instead of "holy spirit?" I say The Holy Spirit in order to distinguish the Holy Spirit as God and as part of the triune God head. I was in church yesterday and there was a guy in Sunday school class who kept correcting everyone and making them say holy spirit instead of The Holy Spirit.

Regarding interpretation of tongues: that's in reference to congregational delivery of the gift of tongues. Not quiet use of one's prayer language.
