- Here is part of Heidi Baker's testimony about how she encountered God and went through a radical transformation here at Catch The Fire Toronto. We hope this can inspire you and fill you with hope and a desire to encounter God for yourself!
My husband had a life changing, family changing, miraculous healing from a brain injury and seizures. We had never heard of Randy Clark when he was healed. However, the woman who prayed for him had been healed at a Randy Clark conference and had received impartation for healing. Those 500 single spaced papers of testimonies are just a drop in the bucket. Since my husband was healed he and I both lay hands on the sick and they recover. Praise God!! We are forever grateful.
When I look at the eyes of Heidi Baker, I see the love of God, I see heaven in her eyes.
4309eee I do too. Who are we to question how God works in anothers life or how Holy Spirit manifests. Strange for me, but get God out of the box. If that's the way God's Holy Spirit is to fall on me. So be it. The love of God is in her eyes and in her heart.

People like Heidi Baker and all the religions out there are the reason why everyone hates the bible and Christianity.
Satan uses all of them to corrupt something that was meant to be very simple and straight forward and easily acceptable by all.
The way I see it is that in the end there will be many atheists who will actually end up in heaven while many of these religious nut jobs and demonic people like Heidi or boasters like Stephen L. Anderson will end up burning in the lake of fire for all eternity.

This is Heidi Baker's testimony from the Catch the Fire conference, specifically. This is not her testimony of coming to Christ, salvation, but rather the anointing God has poured out on her to fulfill the calling He has on her specific life. It's beautiful. He experience with the Father! I had an experience the other day when God was anointing me and calling me into the hospital, ICU, to be His pillar of peace, hope, light, love, and grace! Anyways, thought I should clarify :)
I couple of years ago, I wouldn't have listened to this, but now, I think there is something to it. Only because I've felt God working in me, and I don't mean figuratively, I mean literally. However, I think I need more. The little I got was enough to let me know it isn't fake and can't be imagined.
if u need more just ask for it. ask God for a deeper encounter with him. pray for it God answers the cry of the desperate (of his children). Fast and read the bible. I guarantee u it will happen.

I just came here for more laughs. It is all a fraud, perhaps not understood? You seem genuine and soft. Would have liked to make fun of you too, but I can't! If they were all like you, I would want to take the blue pill and live in such a beautiful bliss. An imaginary utopia. Full of such color, and beauty. Atlast, this is not the case. You are an anomaly that does not fit in here and thus not the reality that is this place. Never have I given such a complement, but thank you for such a fantastical thought. One obvious way to discern evil spirits from the Holy Spirit is that satan likes to stroke the ego and make you feel powerful and special
It's not about the signs and wonders people!!! When Jesus did miricles he did so quietly and asked people not to talk about it because he knew they would focus on them and not the real message which is repentance and purification of the heart and life through union with God
Miracles happen or don't bit they are not the message only a bonus
My life changed after I got saved. And I didn't get saved by having an exciting experience. I got saved by accepting the TRUTH in God's WORD concerning REPENTANCE.

Stop criticizing what God does. Each person’s experience is different. There’s more to Christianity than saying a repentance prayer..that’s just the beginning. There’s the power of God to be experienced.

The Apostle Paul was not converted by Scripture. Neither was Peter or other disciples. They were converted by life-changing encounters with the tangible power of the Holy Spirit through the person of Jesus Christ. To those who say you shouldn't have to go to Toronto to experience God in a special way... You don't have to, it is not the only way God can work today, but if you had been there in Acts 2 when the rushing wind came, cloven tongues of fire fell, and Peter preached, do you think maybe it would have made a dramatic impact on your life as opposed to only sitting in your room alone or a typical church Bible study with Scripture? If not, then what was the point of Jesus telling them to "tarry in Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high." ? Why didn't He instead tell them to go get the nearest Torah scroll and all have a dead and lifeless Bible study, which is what happens in most of America's "churches" today. Most of America today truly fulfills this Scripture, "having a form of godliness but lacking the power thereof. Have nothing to do with such people." 2 Tim 3

Soak yourself in His presence, it'll be better if you have a consecrated life of loving Jesus (although it is obviously very hard to do that, it's definitely worth it), maybe I could share to you a yt channel wherein I always experience His love?

You can tell a tree by its fruit. This woman has fed and ministered to thousands, has seen miracles, signs and wonders. Why all the naysaying? Does God work in a box, or is He the God who made Balaam's donkey speak? Stop all the judgment and praise God for using her so marvelously.

It definitely seems that she has given her life to helping other people. And genuinely believes that these supernaturally experiences are from God with all her heart. And it is so heartbreaking to see. But unfortunately history is filled with people who have given there whole lives for other people without ever believing a single word of the Bible. And it is the word of God that we MUST hold to. And the word of God stands forever that "all have sinned" and there is "not one good" "no not even one". And so if this woman who focuses on supernatural experience instead of the Gospel has never for herself seen her own sin and turned in faith to Jesus and His blood to cleanse her from it, then deep inside her heart remains that evil that separates her from God. And although it may be hidden and she may seem so holy and good and pure as she does in this video the fact will be that all of the supernatural experience flowing in her and through her are nothing but cunning lies and deception from Satan. Given by Satan for the purpose of continuing to deceive her and all the thousands upon thousands who follow her into thinking that they are right with God, when they are not. It is so sad. My heart breaks for her. But Jesus did not die to save good people or He would not have needed to die. He died to save evil people who deserve to die themselves. And if anyone has never seen the evil of there heart and there need for a savior than they have never been saved. Even if they have done all the good that Heidi Baker has done. Unfortunately the church is filled with people who are trying to do enough good things to earn Gods favor and mercy and blessing. But no one will ever be able to EARN Gods favor and mercy, His salvation. It is only through Christ. By faith. Trusting in Him alone. His sacrifice for us. His life for our. His blood. His payment of our debt.

After listening to more of her testimony and preaching of the Gospel I cant see how she could possibly not be worshiping the true Jesus of the bible and doing what shes doing in order to truly bring the Gospel to people. I can only say I dont understand why there is so much strange spiritual manifestation working through her. God is not the author of confusion. I wish that I understood fully what is going on and could go tell her.

I was there when that happened to you, I love being in power of the presence of our Lord Jesus and His Holy Spirit and our Father. I say yes..
I saw the movie Mama Heidi. It was beautiful. She and her husband took on thousands of African boys who would be dead if it weren't for her love for God and her obedience to God. She took them in as family. She and her husband fed them and gave them new lives. I only wish I had an ounce of her faith. She is the real thing.
Dark drifter. People receive different levels of faith based on their obedience to God. Jesus said that we can move a mountain with the faith of a mustard seed. Faith is not something we can conjer up on our own. God has given me great faith in some areas. It's my lack of courage and some fear and laziness that keeps me from moving forward into a deeper faith than I already experience which is probably more than the average Christian. How about you? What is your experience with faith?
God is the Real thing. She’s just explaining what obedience looks like and how God can move mountains if we decide to obey Him and how we can bless the lives of others. He deserves the Real praise.
Not sure how you can criticize what I wrote. Read the book of Hebrews. It speaks about people of faith and how special they are for being faithful.
That does not mean she is of God! Read the scriptures, study them. Heidi is a charlatan!

You're entitled to your opinion, but I believe God is with her by judging the fruit of her ministry.
I'm judging by all the Mozambique children being cared for, the sick being healed and the souls being saved. None of that would be possible without the hand of God at work.
Because she's doing what Christ told the Church to do: go into other nations and preach the Gospel, care for the poor, and heal the sick. Only someone with the love of God inside him would be driven to do what she does. If that's not good enough for you, then I'm sorry.

Been dealing with feelings of discouragement lately and suddenly the other morning something told me to watch heidi baker...i couldn't even remember her name and had to ask my mom. I just knew her as that blonde haired woman from mozambique :) anyway, this video popped up under google results and i watched it and since have had such renewed faith and peace. This woman is so incredibly beautiful and awesome! She's such an amazing woman and inspiration. I also bought her movie compelled by love and can't wait to watch it!

Thank God for calling Heidi Baker into His kingdom! She is making a difference and is so full of passion for Jesus.
Food for thought:
Some folks in here easily dismiss her testimony as "not of God." What if it is of God? You have just blasphemed the work of the Holy Spirit and called it the work of the devil.
Instead of focusing on shooting down other people's testimony, why not just share your own testimony about Jesus' love for you?
Believe me, you'll be able to reach out more people for Christ, unless it's not your agenda in the first place.

This is just wonderful! One of the most inspiring testimonys I have ever heard! Just discovered Heidi today and will be checking out everything I can find out on her. Glory, Glory! Hallelujah, I lay my burders down. I like the teaching of joy and sufferage. I never looked at it that way before and that Christ died so the poor could be fed, that it was part of the attonement. I took my boss after much persuasion to a Holy Spirit meeting. She was slain for hours, 45 barren. She had twin boys 9 months later. Sold her business to be mom. Luv Sis I have seen many strange happenings in the Spirit. One adult handicap man, arms out making noises like an airplane, spinning around. A woman made fun openly of it, as it was happening.Her favorite son, died that year. Be very careful, what you say against the Holy Ghost.

Kimara Greer that’s quite an insensitive and presumptuous statement there. If you haven’t put yourself in the shoes of others and pushed yourself to explore peoples’ experiences all over the world which are drastically different than your own, then you’re really missing out and so limited in knowledge and understanding. Lots of people make statements and hold stances like yours, but I find that very few of them have ever shared life or gotten to know the people they are so fervently condemning. This is a rampant problem with Americans at large. If you’ve got God all figured out and He fits nicely into your comfortable and “orderly” theological box, it’s a telltale sign that your understanding and experience of God is bound by dogma. To explain much of it away by saying that the hundreds of thousands of people with such “unorderly” stories and testimonies are collaborating in tale-telling is profoundly arrogant, and probably at the root an act of nothing stronger than self-preservation. Instead of armchair judgment, why not invest your life into the dying and destitute? Or better yet, kill two birds with one stone and go out to Mozambique to serve them while meeting Dr. Baker in person to see what’s true in real life rather than living by faith in untested dogma! 🙌🏼

What a beautiful child of God, and Christ our Savior. Intimacy with the Holy Spirit, God's love is real, not dead but alive in his word, and in prayer with his Holy Spirit., we can learn about his love. I know most are afraid to look weird or strange, before others, everything of value takes courage. So pray, pray, and pray, God is this true?? Never Judge How , What , or When God works. How he works for one may not be the way the Holy Spirit works for another. In Gods word (KJV) WHOEVER shall ask shall receive. Drink his love and peace . The Holy Spirit may fall on you softly as a summer breeze. You may start to sob. Might even fill tingly and so Happy. Or you my fill a rush all over and find yourself upside down on the floor. Visions are one way Jesus inspires us. As a drug smuggler, I saw a pillar of fire in my dining room and the next day God began my rescue from two assassination plots. Having escaped miraculously, not too long after, now in safety, now (5 months later) married with a new family, I had a vision where God showed me I would "see" through the eyes of Jesus! @Gary Songer So if he mentioned the word "repentance" does it validate what happened? Isn't repentance a change of heart and a change of mind? Isn't repentance seeing through life from God's perspective and turning away from ours? I wonder why Paul didn't use the word repentance in romans 10...while explaining how he got saved, I'm sure many would say that they didn't hear anything about repentance either

But the tangible fruit of her life...sold out to Jesus, being stoned by unbelievers for preaching the gospel to the poor...feeding thousands if not more homeless people, showing the love of God in terrible conditions...we will know them by their fruits, so I won’t mentioned the many well documented miracles. You the arm chair theologian are the one who will determine Heidi Baker’s validation, not her love walk or her laid down sacrificial life in pursuit of God. For you to say that this woman doesn’t preach the gospel means you’ve either only selected a curated and well edited selections of her messages for proper criticism(we need critics as followers of Jesus...even Jesus was called demon possessed and a drunkard) to listen to, or you haven’t done any listening beyond videos that criticize her or other missionaries. If you want to have a sensible conversation where we open scriptures(alone) and discuss what this woman teaches, let me know. Till then, have fun dear friend!
A testimony is about you. It's telling people what God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit has done to you, for you and in you....it's not meant to preach repentance it's to build your faith thru some else's experience....I for one am encouraged. Let me tell you if we would open up and recieve all He has for us....we all would be experiencing Him in powerful ways.

I have one question. When the Bible talks about eating flesh and drinking blood who is talking? Answer: Jesus. So when Heidi refers to God appearing to her and telling her to eat his flesh and drink his blood, who is obviously talking. Answer: Jesus. I HATE when people think everybody has to be saved the same way. God is not limited and can do anything he wants. Obviously her testimony about CHRIST IS BIBLICAL. So why condemn her? Because she didn't say the word repent? Foolishness.

Leslie Dodds Don't be afraid. Love casts out all fear. Just step into it...God is Love. You will soon encounter the Father's Heart. It is the ' annointing ' that is transferred. If no annointing ,no Love or Power to carry out the works of Jesus. only dry bones. We who love her are truly grateful and thankful for her sacrifices and Love. She is walking With Him in Love relationship just as the Bride should be. she is Loving on His people. Please...you need to get this as Jesus is calling you too. It doesn't stop at salvation , that is only the very beginning. No eye has seen nor ear has heard what The Father has in store for those who Love Him. Its a wild ride! They have fun in heaven too. Lots of glorious Joy! Bring it on.

We dont know exactly why God , the Holy Spirit decided to visit so powerfully some locations more than others but Jesus gave some indication about the day of Pentecost . Then we had many , many pockets of Revivals through History . Any one who loves the Truth will see that Heidi is full of truth , so is most of Toronto . The peace , love and gentleness that comes through the Arnotts , Heidi and many of their friends is astounding . Since they only talk about THE FATHER , THE SON and THE HOLY SPIRIT and demonstrate the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit with power , would it not be wise to listen carefully what they truly say before make up our mind

Yes Joseph Smith did-but Jesus said, "By their fruits you shall know them." Heidi has brought salvation to hundreds of thousands of poor people, along with food for their bodies, trusting Jesus to mulitply what little she had. She was willing to live in abject poverty among the people of a foreign nation, who were starving to death all around her, when she had no food and no home and no money. Her faith in Jesus caused Him to move on her behalf and she was able to provide food and shelter for these poor folk, and herself.
She has never sought for her own wealth (unlike Joseph Smith)-only the welfare of others.

I can understand why u would say that my brother more so if u have not yet been baptized with the Holy Spirit and with fire, but its ok because we all learn new things every day. When you read the Bible in Ezekiel chp1 from vrs28 we see that the prophet Ezekiel was hit by the glory of God so much so that the only thing he could do was to fall on his face, and the next chapter 2 vrs1-2 we see how the Spirit of the Lord entered into Ezekiel and caused him to stand on his feet. So u see clearly that it is very possible for God to control your body movements.
When we read the whole of Acts chpt2 we see the kind of influence the Holy Spirit made on the people that literal tongues of fire were VISIBLE and they spoke in other tongues, an introduction to living life in the spirit. If u indeed read John14:21 u see that Jesus Himself said He and the Father will manifest Himself to us, He goes on to say in vrs23 that They will make their home in us. What do u think can happen to a man if truly the God Head lives in him. I believe in the God of the impossible.

This might be to real for most people in church today. When they hear this they look at themselves and hate this sister. The spirit of envy and jealousy along with that spirit of religion which they have adopted comes on them like a flood.
It is hard for people to accept that there are people receiving more of God but they dont realise that if they were to offer themselves totally to Him as a living sacrifice like Heidi does, they too would live in a way much closer to Jesus and therefore receive more of His Presence and power in their lives. We dont receive from God, sipping sodas and surfing the internet. I doubt Heidi ever has time to look at You Tube. I believe there are thousands of people living closer to Jesus than I and who are endowed with far more power than I. I love them for it. I have tasted of those depths when I was well and could spend much time in fasting and prayer. I dont understand all she said, it does sound a little crazy to me some of it, but I can tell she is genuine and has given her whole life to Jesus. Therefore, even tho I dont understand some of it (standing on her head etc..) I believe it to be of God. Just because we dont understand a thing, doesnt mean it isnt so.

I have also,like Heidi Baker, looked into the eyes of Christ. Some people have envied me for this, they're fools. No one should have that happen to them. All of you is known. You are now dust. The electrons circling the atomic nucleii in your being are numbered and known. You have no secrets. He walked away and looked over his shoulder back at me, "Well, are you coming?" I refused to walk His way. It took a couple of years, a broken marriage, an imploded career, a shattered man that I became and several false starts before I said, yeah, okay...I'm yours. A huge wave of God's love is going to be poured out and his light will spread past the horizons. He'd wade naked through molten lava for you, He'd slap a star just to give you light, He'd pack the nebulae of the universe down into a ball of mud just to make you smile...because He loves you that much.

when I read "testimony" I expected her own story of how she recognized her sin & came to Jesus... and her's is about rolling on the floor?? I don't get it. What kind of gospel did she preach after that? Jesus died that there would allays be enough food? Enough of forgiveness and grace I though... and what's that about standing on her head. Where is the gospel? Where is the talk of repentance and faith? I have never heard her properly handle God's Word.
What about this isn't Biblical? The Bible says to share the love of God, the Gospel, and that is what she is doing. Her fierce experiences with God are like those of King David's or those in the early church. What spirit other than God could she be filled with other than the Holy Spirit when she continues, over and over again, to give her life to him. Gives her entire self to God, and she is desperate to get more and more of God. Have you never felt the powerful presence of God? It leaves you thirsty for more of him. You just want more of him and what he has laid out for you.
When you let God have complete control of your life you can't not want more of him. The fruits of the spirit naturally come out of you. This is what Heidi Baker is doing. She let God take complete control of her life and he is flowing through her like a water fall. He has saved 20,000 or more children off the streets of Africa because of it. Imagine how we could change the world if we let God into our lives like she has. Of course, because he gave us different gift and callings it won't always be like Heidi's life but it would still be full of God and his presence.

Theres no doubt there is good works involved and I commend her for what she does there, but we are also told not to take of his table and that of demons too, We just cannot mix the occult and occult practices with the lord. The catholics also do good works and charity, but anyone with eyes can see the demons are alive and well in that church. All occults can perform good works and charity to get you in.
