I’m an independent musician and currently bingeing all of your videos haha. This is so cool how you can do all of this yourself and still make it look so professional! Not sure if I have your skills but I might try! Haha 🤩
This is exactly why I’m here! I’m currently recording my second album and wanted to find a way to make a digipak myself and not have to pay for it haha. This is super helpful!

Hi! Is it possible to make a digipak with A3 cardstock? My printer isn't compatible with tabloid since I live in Sweden and we don't use that kind of size.
Have you ever done a plastic sleeve for digipak? They sell pvc sleeves for vinyl, 12" records, but not for Cds that I am aware of and digipak are terrible for storage. I appreciate that you used cm measurements in your tutorial, btw.
Hey, Very nice turorial. I just have a quick question. I do want to make digipaks for my band's first EP. But i dont want to place the CDs inside of the folded cardboard. So... Does the spine have the right width if i want to place a CD tray inbetween the front and back cover?
Hi, glad you liked the video. No, If you want a digipak with a tray, that is a different tutorial. I also have it on my channel. Is the last video I uploaded.
loved your tutorial, very helpful! what's the size of the images for the design? like i did one in my phone first in the 1500x1500 size but turns out it was too small, and i dont know where to look. thank you!
I watched the whole video and i felt like after leaving the video i would see a channel with millions of subscribers! Wow you are creating amazing content! We don't get these amazing Printing technique tricks info anywhere else
Hi wondered where you get your contact paper from. I got some for cd case and it just bows and bends the paper rather than just using the paper on its own
I get it from office depot. It is important that you get a good quality contact paper, as some contact papers are cheap and they don't want to stick. I suggest trying a piece of contact paper on a scrap piece of paper to see how it behaves before committing to a full project. Hope it helps.
Nice tutorial, thanks,a suggestion for a new project, minidisc jcard and label,i have seen a tutorial on minidisc but i think you would have a better way.
It might be due to the dimensions of the edges. When printing, you need to make sure to select print in real size, if that doesn't help, you need to trial and error till you get it right. Sometimes its the issue with the printing settings rather than the file.
For the digipak, I use glossy photo paper. For the booklet, I use bond paper; it's similar to printing paper, but it's a tad thicker, and therefor, resistant. Hope it helps and thanks for watching.
MAN you are super cool and a life saver. thanks for taking the time to make these videos and supplying the template. thank you once again. best wishes from Liverpool
No, but I am working on a video with the suggestions for materials I use and I will make sure to include the list on the descriptions of all of the videos once I make it!

I go to a printer center to get it print, that's the best way yo print it yourself without actually getting a special printer.

Man that is brilliant.
hi, thanks for your explanation. a query, what kind of printer do you use to make those colors so bright
I use semi gloss photo paper with laser printer, that gives the bright result. Ink won't be as vibrant and shiny
@@ACrafterinTraining What model of printer do you use? I'm yet to find a laser printer that can print tabloid size.
Thank youuu, I ordered Ultraviolence Deluxe once but the digipack was terribly jagged so now I can shorten my suffering of looking at it 😩
Great idea!
Hi excelent tutorial. I have a doubt. What kind of paper do you use?
Bond paper with shiny finish and ink jet printer.
where did you print the cardstock? I can't seem to find a place that prints in that size. (in the US btw)
I live in Mexico and I print in a local store. I know that CVS and Wallgreens will print in cardstock too
Do you have to use special printer paper for this?
Not really. I've done it with regular computer paper, but cardstock is easier. For best results, I like to use semi gloss photo paper
You are amazing! Thanks for the tutorial!
You are so welcome!
what paper are u using?
Your amazing , this tutorial was really great. Is there an alternative to photoshop?
I am working on a tutorial to alternatives to photoshop. I will upload it in the next couple of weeks.
A sturdy paper clip works well to make score
lines also :-)
Yes, I've tried this, and it does work really well. Thanks for the suggestion.
What kind of paper? The size of the PSD says "12.833" by "10.867" inches and i only got regular paper T_T Where can i find the right paper?
wait nvm you printed 2 papers.
It's tabloid/ double letter size paper. Some softwares won't have it, so you have to costume make it (11.0 x 17.0 in)
What print do you use?? Cauz mine is only paper
I go to a printer center that prints on photopaper/cardstock
How much did the paper you use in the first example cost? I mean around 6:02
I use tabloid size paper, 27.94 cm x 43.18 cm. I used only one sheet.
@@ACrafterinTraining oh god you replied thanks
This was a great video, I’m going to give it a try tomorrow. This will save much more room then regular cd cases.
Glad it was helpful!
How many grams is the thickness of the paper? Thank you.
around a 135
Your videos are amazing. But what if your having trouble downloading the templates from the shared folder on the one drive
Fixed the link!
Great tutorial. But I noticed you use photo paper, it scratches easily, how do you protect them?
sometimes, if the project will be handle too much, i use transparent contact paper to cover it
Thank you bro..! But I didn't :D When I printed the digipack from the printer, I noticed that the dimensions did not fit. Can u help me

YOU'RE A LIFE SAVER
I use Gimp and Paint. Can I make them on those?
yes, gimp is a great alternative to photoshop
thank u so much! which kind of paper do you use tho, and which kind of paper should i use for a lyrics booklet?
For the digipak, I use glossy photo paper. For the booklet, I use bond paper; it's similar to printing paper, but it's a tad thicker, and therefor, resistant. Hope it helps and thanks for watching.

doble sided tape, by ducktape
