There was a LOT of the light novel plot that was cut for time her, but one part regarding Elinalise that I loved was this: Minor spoiler for the book, but will not be included in the anime: In the book, Elinalise intended to break up with Cliff and go to Begaritt even if Rudeus was not going to go. Rudeus decides to go, and he tells Elinalise that she should absolutely talk to Cliff. The next scene with her is that sh'e's fallen in love with Cliff all over again, and she'd decided she can't spare two years without him, so she's canceled her trip with Rudeus. Then Rudeus finds out about the teleportation circles, and with that, Elinalise decides that she can spend three or four months away from Cliff, so she decides to go along again. The thing I love about those developments is just how much Elinalise is swayed by Cliff. She has a flighty, young-maiden-in-love side to her, even though she also has an extremely worldly practical side too. And seeing her bounce between them is so much fun. Finally, there was a LOT more to Rudy's and Elinalise's journey than was shown in the anime. Sandworms, giant army ants, an explanation of what those beasts are that the bones in Rapan represent, and the two of them joining a trader caravan and adventures with them. Again, I can see why they cut it for time. The end result was the same, but they were really fun chapters, and I'm sorry to see them go.
It's kind of crazy to see Elinalise and Ghislaine's attitude toward Paul being the same. They both hate him and respect him. I think they also worry about Rudy following in his dad's steps.
It is, also, it is an unique item, so that means he left it there because it would be too hot (author said so on Twitter) so that means Orsted is right now somewhere in Begaritt.

Supposedly on this continent it is common practice to have a couple of female warriors to deal with the succubus while the men are incapacitated. (I will start reading the manga at the end of this season but for now I am anime only so take what I say with a grain of salt. Or a 5 lbs bag of it if you prefer. I just caught up on BokuYaba after starting it a few days ago so it takes time to get through these.)

I imagine going from Begarett to Sharia, you are going to want warm cloths, and vice a versa. Its not like he carries a suit case with him.
