About rudy being too important as the power source, Sylphie did helped her with some experiments, and her mana capacity is a bit more than Roxy's, which is a lot, trully impressive for her, and she still could only give her mana to nanahoshi 3 times before stopping because she needed to keep her mana for ariel, so most likely she could of have helped 6 times in total, as her circles were consuming more mana than 3 or 4 advanced spells circles, and at this phase, every attempt that she makes consumes even more mana than before, so she could probably help once or twice before running out of mana and Sylphie already has one incredible mana pool, but nanahoshi might make rash decisions like calling orsted to help or be less carefull with the experiments in order to make a better use of Sylphies limited mana, and that still is another reason for Rudeus to be concerned. Rudeus was quite on edge all this time, the anime didn't show that, but just like Brian said, although everything was going good, he still was remembering all the time the human gods words. And he also thought about some safe measures like you said, however he was not in the coolest mindset. He several times thought about postponing the journey as it will take a lot less time, but there were too many variables and he just couldnt take a better decision. Also, the teleportation circle was being used by orsted, thats why nanahoshi said nothing about it, and remember the spell to show the cave? It was clearly a custom spell made by someone of the dragon race, and man god can see absolutely nothing about dragon god orsted, so maybe man god could not see that path? will it save regrets? or is that going to lead him to a different path of regrets? Everything makes me think of this a red flag. The anime rushed this travel a lot, however I believe it had good pacing but they skipped a mini arc that was quite important for rudeus and the world building, but nothing major. Then Rudeus tells her about the teleportation circles and so she decides to go with him after all, but Cliff doesn't know about that, because neither Rudeus or Elinalise think he can keep a secret. 2-Orsted often uses those circles to travel around the world, so there were some chances that he meets with him, and he also told his family that if they leak the fact that he is going to use the teleportation circles, a really dangerous mean is going to kill them, someone that he can not defeat. 3-Elinalise has an incredible sense of orientation, she can confidently move around the most dense forest or the worst blizzards with ease, that is a common treat of the elfs apparently. 4-The coat that Rudeus found is of course from Orsted, and he doesn't know, but after the end of the series, in some extra stories, it's revealed that the coat is made from the pelt of an ancient white dragon that carries an absurd amount of magic power, possesses high physical and magical defense. It also possesses self-restoration against aging and damage over time but because Ancient White Dragons are now extinct, it is a unique item. If he had taken the coat, Rudeus would of have been so broken, but as it has terrible value, Orsted would probably search for him and kill him. 5-Originally, the incident with the succubus happened in the teleportation ruins, but we saw it in mid travel, but it actually happened around 3 or 5 times before arriving to rapan. There are no contraceptive methods, so whenever the women get pregnant, they come back to the village until she has the baby, they then leave the kid with the elders and the entire village takes care of them so that the women can go back to hunting. There is barely no one than can use intermediate detoxifying magic after all. 14-While working as bodyguards, Rudeus had to keep translating for Elinalise, as she doesn't know how to speak the fighting god language. 15-One of the bodyguards also had a demonic eye, one that can see mana, the most common one and the same one as Ghislaine, however he also can not fully control it, it turns out it takes a lot of effort to control any kind of demonic eye, but Rudeus managed to master it in a single week, not even a superd warrior was able to master it before he died. 16-At one point, they got ambushed, killed one of the bodyguards and Rudeus almost died, but Elinalise is the most reliable tank, so she covered him. He used the spell deep mist, quagmire and some earth walls to scape, it was really difficult, but his insane spells were able to cover a ridiculous range. 17-Rudeus never tried to kill them, not even after being ambushed and they killed a bodyguard, one of the bodyguards realized that and started arguing with him because she wanted to avenge the man that died, it turned out that she just recently had his child. That hit hard on Rudeus, as he is about to become a father, he then talked to Elinalise about it and he tells her that he unconsciously started to limit his own magic against humans, even against human like monsters, like the succubus, he tries not to use lethal spells. He started doing that after almost destroying an entire city under the stress of not being able to take Eris home, back when he just met Ruijerd. 18-They continued the journey and then they got separated, when Rapan was close. They still fought some monsters, but nothing major. When Rudeus used the spell to climb the ladder, he carried Elinalise in his arms like a princess without thinking, Elinalise started touching his butt and the rest of his body. She was doing her best, but she still is another horny dog. 19-The bones you see at the end of the episode are the rest of a behemoth that the north god Kalman II and his comrades defeated, they then celebrated with the meat of the beast, but left the rest to rot and the bones remained, refusing to disappear. Some insect monsters started making some nests in the corpse, with time they died, mutated and got separated, the mana of the corpse started mutating the place and the different monsters created labyrinths, thats why its called Rapan, the labyrinth city. And that is all. I left a lot out, because the anime really skipped way too much, and this time it could be considered important, but nothing that actually affects the plot on the rescue mission or anything, the mini arc that the anime skipped was more for you to understand rudeus mentality I guess

Also Elinalise's curse wouldn't work with tools. Her curse literally uses the male bodily fluid to generate crystals so there's no substitute. She'll die without it.

Basically MT teleportation is like a fast-travel, its not instant. If you are teleporting to somewhere further it takes a bit longer. These are explicitly stated in the source material, anime team is just trying to save some time by not explicitly saying stuff, they skipped A LOT of small details this episode. 20:00 if it wasn't obvious that wasn't Rudy being a perv, that was Succubus pheramones affecting him until Elinalise forced him to cast detoxification on himself. 22:50 Her curse is basically accumulating magic power in her body, the magic power turns into magic crystals when she does the deed.

@@drvis5158 It's not tho, this detail is revealed during the ED arc so basically last cour, anime just skipped some details as usual. Anime had 3 opportunities for giving this detail, when Rudeus first mentions Lise's curse during the ED arc, when Lise and Cliff starts their relationship and Cliff tries to undo the curse, when Lise being Sylphie's grandma is revealed. I don't think anime will revisit this detail but even if they do the sentence I wrote is a really small detail, not even worth calling it a spoiler. There are some major stuff regarding Lise but I haven't mentioned them at all.
One little detail that was cut is that Elinalise was getting handsy with Rudy during the journey because she was struggling with her curse, but Rudy was keeping her at bay lol. The only reason Rudy was coming on to Elinalise was due to the Succubus’ pheromones that are too strong for any straight man to resist. Men would easily die to a Succubus if they don’t have a female companion to eliminate them. Even then, the only way to get a man to snap out of their horny trance is to use detoxification magic, which is both uncommon and difficult to perform while the man is trying to overpower them, OR simply sleep with the man until they snap out of it. It’s a common issue that the people of this continent have to deal with.
In the Laplace war, the Emperor fire mage Feroze Star named his child before he left to fight in the war and was killed by the Demon king Ryder Kaizel. He was a companion of Perugius and I think he one the 7 great heroes of the Laplace war. It the reason why they were worried when Rudeus decided to name the child . (The book doesn't exactly say the mage was a hero but I'm assuming he is one because he was a companion of Perguis the Armored Dragon King)

3:40 They're showing only the western "hemisphere" of the world map, but the world itself is flat, so the term doesn't fully apply. The whole map looks like a Pacific-centered atlas, where North America is the Demon Continent and South America is the Millis continent. Central Continent is Eurasia & Austronesia and Begaritt is kinda-sorta North Africa and the Middle East. And yeah, Millis pretty much is South America. The Great Forest is the Amazon and the Holy Country of Millis is Argentina.
Elinalise actually requires a certain amount fresh or active sperm to ward off her curse. That’s why toys won’t suffice. And also why she made a big deal about not being able to stick to 1 partner because men have a limit to how much they can produce. The LN doesn’t go into specifics but it’s theorized that Cliff being the genius he is, knows of some kinda magic to buff himself in that department to give Elinalise as much as she needs.
Where did you guys watch this? Some of the translation choices in the subtitles are a bit off. LIke death flag got translated into 'famous last words'... which has similar meaning but not really the same. A death flag is something is either a sign you're going to die or something that cause you to die. A jinx of sorts... 'famous last words' is just something someone said before dying, even as a jinx it sounds less serious.... meh... kinda similar... but not the same. Anyway, that was my weebtalk
This episode has the most skip content ever in the show . They adapted 7 chapters which is half of an entire volume which last 2 episodes they adapt only 2 chapters . We didn't see the language being spoken which is called the fighting god tongue. It was of the languages of the three languages Rudy learned when he was teaching Eris.Or Elinalise being the best girl . Or the army of the large ants . They also skipped the merchants which is an important point in the future they deliver Rudy and Elinalise to the city in exchange they protect the goods after they saved them from the gryphons,but they got attacked by bandits in the desert and they almost died , some of them actually did die. And one of them was mad of Rudy because she thought Rudy could have saved them by killing the bandits but Elinalise defended Rudy. The dynamic between Rudy and Elinalise was perfect but what can I say, great episode nonetheless and happy that you enjoyed it even tho it could have been better.
The opening is still the same, so i don't know why people are saying not to watch it when you guys have already watched it many times. But i suppose not watching it from this point onwards is so you guys don't put things in the opening together before they happen.
The reason that she acts like that with cliff is bc she's never been in a solid relations ship and for however long she was alive she has only slept with them and left or got pregnant has the baby and left.
elinalise and rudy going through the desert is probably my favorite part of the light novels, even up to volume 26. theres definitely cooler and more exciting parts, but theres something so adorable and wholesome about thier friendship and thier journey to rapan. they basically skipped most of it for time, but i totally get that. its not really that important.

Surely people already commented it, but hey comments are good for the UA-cam algorithm. Remember that Nanahoshi travelled around the world with Orsted for a year? She mentioned they used teleportation circles to do that, which means these old dragon ruins are normally only used by the Dragon God and his acquaintances (which, given he's feared by literally every life in this world, that should be no more than a handful). The clothes Rudeus seen in the closet is Orsted's winter clothes, likely for him to change when he's heading to the cold North. Rudeus immediately recognized that clothing because he knows they are practically using Orsted's private property without him knowing. He wouldn't dare to leak the existence of these circles out, since he already pissed off Orsted once, he doesn't want to piss him off again.
Just to clarify. Sure Nanoshi can get other people to use for experiments but for one she only wants people she trusts and Rudeus as a former japanese is on the top on the list together with the "summoning expert" she mentioned. And the type of summong she is doing is eating massive amount of mana.(receiving and sending something from another world is a crazy feat no matter how small the thing is). She would need several dozen people to equal Rudeus. So its not that she can not do but it is just very inconvenient and a security risk. Zanoba has a very low manapool and Cliff does occassionally help her (Cliff mentioned that Nanahoshi is helping him with Elinalises "chastity belt") leaving her with few choices to actually fuck something up on her own. Her mental is never great but now she has atleast a few friends aside from Rudeus that will see her occassionally. Thats honestly a way bigger issue with her in my opinion. Of course Sylphy is questioning the safety of the teleportation but Rudeus knows that Nanhoshi used it dozens of times with Orsted so there is a certain security there for him as both a native and an Isekaid person have used it several times. Of course there is never 100% garantuees as the mana catashtrophe exists but thats unavoidable with magic. The ending is safe to watch since Norns episode btw. Rudeus does actually rub one out int he books >
A small spoiler warning for some of the skip content that's kind of amusing to know about succubus on the continent: Succubus are such a problem on the continent that basically all adventuring and Merchant Caravans have at least1-2 female adventurers or guards with them on top of any other men just to take care of them and then to get the guys to actually snap out of it. Because they really do not know detoxification magic and the men won't snap out of it for the most part unless. (No joke in the LN they're actually surprised that Rudy can do that without having to do it.)

Having read the fourth arc of the Paul Gaiden, what Paul did to piss off Elinalise so thoroughly feels... more mundane than I would've first thought. But it was also a much bigger dick move.
On Rudeus' side of weighing the options, he has a massive support network at home. His friends had promised to look after Sylphie and the sisters, Ariel's enteurage would do anything for Sylphie's sake, they got money in the proverbial bank, and the girls are smart and capable on their own. On the Rapan end, he did get an express mail distress message and he would be restless until he is certain the situation is resolved. His parents and his master are facing difficulties he has no idea about. On scouting the teleportation circles, he has the notebook, which likely lists all the conditions for their use. Nanahoshi's smart, so she must've written down everything she observed like an operator's manual. They didn't cover it in the anime, but she'd been through that teleportation circle as well, but she passed out after a few day's travel in the desert and could only briefly make mental notes of the travel as Orsted carried her.

One of Perugius' companions, Feroze Star, an Emperor-tier fire mage, decided on a name for his unborn son, but was killed by one of the Demon Kings in the war before he could come back to see the birth of his son. This started a superstition among the humans of the Six-Sided World that coming up with a name for an unborn child before going off to war or a journey meant death. 10:27 Matsukaze appears! 15:07 Nanahoshi said back in the first part that she had been using the teleportation circles with Orsted to get around the world in a year. She's already been through numerous ones, and Orsted wouldn't use them so casually if they were dangerous, so you can assume that they're safe. 20:25 while there was no sandworm underneath the succubus, there are sandworms on the continent. It cuts the part where one swallows Rudeus, but he blows it apart from the inside and uses earth magic to get back out of the sand. 23:36 there's a reason why that won't work, and it's been hinted at, though one hint is only in the LN, Cliff does mention something about her mana and how the underwear is supposed to help keep it under control.
Teleportation circles aren't instant, but they still greatly decrease the amount of time it takes to travel. It's not a time dilation effect, more like beaming up in Star Trek, but it takes longer. If there were a time dilation effect, Nanahoshi would've told Rudeus as she wants him also to get back as soon as possible.
Watching the ending is safe at this point, it's not the same story about the OP, you could only watch the first few seconds though haha Well, it's not too long to get to the safe point. I very highly recommend getting ahold of volume 11 of the LN if you can before the next episode and reading chapters 13-14 (the last 2 non-extra) because they cut (it was already confirmed that it would be cut before this part of the season started). It covers the Warriors of the Desert, and it's a shame it was removed since it could have been an entire episode by itself. The chapters aren't super critical to the story, but their omission cuts out some worldbuilding related to the continent of Begaritt. Also, it should be fine to watch the OP (probably) after episode 21 depending on where it ends (it should be pretty obvious). There's only like one more subtle thing that you won't really notice, maybe two (since someone pointed out something that even I didn't really think about since you don't see a face that could confirm it). It's not really that big of a deal at this point, since the bigger issue of the OP was that it basically tells you that Rudeus was going to decide to go to Begaritt and spoils the whole dilemma that is Turning Point 3. But if you want to be more on the safe side, probably wait until at least episode 22.

14-While working as bodyguards, Rudeus had to keep translating for Elinalise, as she doesn't know how to speak the fighting god language.
15-One of the bodyguards also had a demonic eye, one that can see mana, the most common one and the same one as Ghislaine, however he also can not fully control it, it turns out it takes a lot of effort to control any kind of demonic eye, but Rudeus managed to master it in a single week, not even a superd warrior was able to master it before he died.
16-At one point, they got ambushed, killed one of the bodyguards and Rudeus almost died, but Elinalise is the most reliable tank, so she covered him. He used the spell deep mist, quagmire and some earth walls to scape, it was really difficult, but his insane spells were able to cover a ridiculous range.
17-Rudeus never tried to kill them, not even after being ambushed and they killed a bodyguard, one of the bodyguards realized that and started arguing with him because she wanted to avenge the man that died, it turned out that she just recently had his child. That hit hard on Rudeus, as he is about to become a father, he then talked to Elinalise about it and he tells her that he unconsciously started to limit his own magic against humans, even against human like monsters, like the succubus, he tries not to use lethal spells. He started doing that after almost destroying an entire city under the stress of not being able to take Eris home, back when he just met Ruijerd.
18-They continued the journey and then they got separated, when Rapan was close. They still fought some monsters, but nothing major. When Rudeus used the spell to climb the ladder, he carried Elinalise in his arms like a princess without thinking, Elinalise started touching his butt and the rest of his body. She was doing her best, but she still is another horny dog.
19-The bones you see at the end of the episode are the rest of a behemoth that the north god Kalman II and his comrades defeated, they then celebrated with the meat of the beast, but left the rest to rot and the bones remained, refusing to disappear. Some insect monsters started making some nests in the corpse, with time they died, mutated and got separated, the mana of the corpse started mutating the place and the different monsters created labyrinths, thats why its called Rapan, the labyrinth city.
And that is all. I left a lot out, because the anime really skipped way too much, and this time it could be considered important, but nothing that actually affects the plot on the rescue mission or anything, the mini arc that the anime skipped was more for you to understand rudeus mentality I guess
Great summarization of the 6-7 chapters they skipped. I know I've been trying to let some know just about the succubus piece but this is going above and beyond so happy to see it.
Also Elinalise's curse wouldn't work with tools. Her curse literally uses the male bodily fluid to generate crystals so there's no substitute. She'll die without it.

Basically MT teleportation is like a fast-travel, its not instant. If you are teleporting to somewhere further it takes a bit longer. These are explicitly stated in the source material, anime team is just trying to save some time by not explicitly saying stuff, they skipped A LOT of small details this episode.

@@drvis5158 It's not tho, this detail is revealed during the ED arc so basically last cour, anime just skipped some details as usual. Anime had 3 opportunities for giving this detail, when Rudeus first mentions Lise's curse during the ED arc, when Lise and Cliff starts their relationship and Cliff tries to undo the curse, when Lise being Sylphie's grandma is revealed. I don't think anime will revisit this detail but even if they do the sentence I wrote is a really small detail, not even worth calling it a spoiler. There are some major stuff regarding Lise but I haven't mentioned them at all.

One little detail that was cut is that Elinalise was getting handsy with Rudy during the journey because she was struggling with her curse, but Rudy was keeping her at bay lol. The only reason Rudy was coming on to Elinalise was due to the Succubus’ pheromones that are too strong for any straight man to resist. Men would easily die to a Succubus if they don’t have a female companion to eliminate them. Even then, the only way to get a man to snap out of their horny trance is to use detoxification magic, which is both uncommon and difficult to perform while the man is trying to overpower them, OR simply sleep with the man until they snap out of it. It’s a common issue that the people of this continent have to deal with.
It's a good thing incubus don't exist in this world or everyone will be royally screwed :D

In the Laplace war, the Emperor fire mage Feroze Star named his child before he left to fight in the war and was killed by the Demon king Ryder Kaizel. He was a companion of Perugius and I think he one the 7 great heroes of the Laplace war. It the reason why they were worried when Rudeus decided to name the child .
(The book doesn't exactly say the mage was a hero but I'm assuming he is one because he was a companion of Perguis the Armored Dragon King)
I guess I see it, Central Continent definetely looks more like South America than Frieren world does. Central Continent is like a ripped out fang, South America is like a fang still in the gum.
3:40 They're showing only the western "hemisphere" of the world map, but the world itself is flat, so the term doesn't fully apply. The whole map looks like a Pacific-centered atlas, where North America is the Demon Continent and South America is the Millis continent. Central Continent is Eurasia & Austronesia and Begaritt is kinda-sorta North Africa and the Middle East.
And yeah, Millis pretty much is South America. The Great Forest is the Amazon and the Holy Country of Millis is Argentina.
Elinalise actually requires a certain amount fresh or active sperm to ward off her curse. That’s why toys won’t suffice. And also why she made a big deal about not being able to stick to 1 partner because men have a limit to how much they can produce. The LN doesn’t go into specifics but it’s theorized that Cliff being the genius he is, knows of some kinda magic to buff himself in that department to give Elinalise as much as she needs.

Where did you guys watch this? Some of the translation choices in the subtitles are a bit off.
LIke death flag got translated into 'famous last words'... which has similar meaning but not really the same. A death flag is something is either a sign you're going to die or something that cause you to die. A jinx of sorts... 'famous last words' is just something someone said before dying, even as a jinx it sounds less serious.... meh... kinda similar... but not the same.

This episode has the most skip content ever in the show . They adapted 7 chapters which is half of an entire volume which last 2 episodes they adapt only 2 chapters . We didn't see the language being spoken which is called the fighting god tongue. It was of the languages of the three languages Rudy learned when he was teaching Eris.Or Elinalise being the best girl . Or the army of the large ants . They also skipped the merchants which is an important point in the future they deliver Rudy and Elinalise to the city in exchange they protect the goods after they saved them from the gryphons,but they got attacked by bandits in the desert and they almost died , some of them actually did die. And one of them was mad of Rudy because she thought Rudy could have saved them by killing the bandits but Elinalise defended Rudy. The dynamic between Rudy and Elinalise was perfect but what can I say, great episode nonetheless and happy that you enjoyed it even tho it could have been better.

The reason that she acts like that with cliff is bc she's never been in a solid relations ship and for however long she was alive she has only slept with them and left or got pregnant has the baby and left.
elinalise and rudy going through the desert is probably my favorite part of the light novels, even up to volume 26. theres definitely cooler and more exciting parts, but theres something so adorable and wholesome about thier friendship and thier journey to rapan. they basically skipped most of it for time, but i totally get that. its not really that important.
The ending is safe to watch, wait until maybe the second to last episode to watch the opening
they already watched it, nothing changed this week. they should've avoided it from the start if they wanted to.

Remember that Nanahoshi travelled around the world with Orsted for a year? She mentioned they used teleportation circles to do that, which means these old dragon ruins are normally only used by the Dragon God and his acquaintances (which, given he's feared by literally every life in this world, that should be no more than a handful). The clothes Rudeus seen in the closet is Orsted's winter clothes, likely for him to change when he's heading to the cold North. Rudeus immediately recognized that clothing because he knows they are practically using Orsted's private property without him knowing. He wouldn't dare to leak the existence of these circles out, since he already pissed off Orsted once, he doesn't want to piss him off again.
I knew I recognized them. I wanted to say the name, but there's so much on my mind in these scenes.
Just to clarify. Sure Nanoshi can get other people to use for experiments but for one she only wants people she trusts and Rudeus as a former japanese is on the top on the list together with the "summoning expert" she mentioned. And the type of summong she is doing is eating massive amount of mana.(receiving and sending something from another world is a crazy feat no matter how small the thing is). She would need several dozen people to equal Rudeus. So its not that she can not do but it is just very inconvenient and a security risk.
Zanoba has a very low manapool and Cliff does occassionally help her (Cliff mentioned that Nanahoshi is helping him with Elinalises "chastity belt") leaving her with few choices to actually fuck something up on her own.
Her mental is never great but now she has atleast a few friends aside from Rudeus that will see her occassionally. Thats honestly a way bigger issue with her in my opinion.
Of course Sylphy is questioning the safety of the teleportation but Rudeus knows that Nanhoshi used it dozens of times with Orsted so there is a certain security there for him as both a native and an Isekaid person have used it several times. Of course there is never 100% garantuees as the mana catashtrophe exists but thats unavoidable with magic.
The ending is safe to watch since Norns episode btw.

A small spoiler warning for some of the skip content that's kind of amusing to know about succubus on the continent:
Succubus are such a problem on the continent that basically all adventuring and Merchant Caravans have at least1-2 female adventurers or guards with them on top of any other men just to take care of them and then to get the guys to actually snap out of it. Because they really do not know detoxification magic and the men won't snap out of it for the most part unless. (No joke in the LN they're actually surprised that Rudy can do that without having to do it.)

Having read the fourth arc of the Paul Gaiden, what Paul did to piss off Elinalise so thoroughly feels... more mundane than I would've first thought. But it was also a much bigger dick move.
On Rudeus' side of weighing the options, he has a massive support network at home. His friends had promised to look after Sylphie and the sisters, Ariel's enteurage would do anything for Sylphie's sake, they got money in the proverbial bank, and the girls are smart and capable on their own.
On the Rapan end, he did get an express mail distress message and he would be restless until he is certain the situation is resolved. His parents and his master are facing difficulties he has no idea about. On scouting the teleportation circles, he has the notebook, which likely lists all the conditions for their use. Nanahoshi's smart, so she must've written down everything she observed like an operator's manual. They didn't cover it in the anime, but she'd been through that teleportation circle as well, but she passed out after a few day's travel in the desert and could only briefly make mental notes of the travel as Orsted carried her.
9:25 this is from the story of Perugius vs Demon God Laplace from the war 400 years ago. One of Perugius' companions, Feroze Star, an Emperor-tier fire mage, decided on a name for his unborn son, but was killed by one of the Demon Kings in the war before he could come back to see the birth of his son. This started a superstition among the humans of the Six-Sided World that coming up with a name for an unborn child before going off to war or a journey meant death.

15:07 Nanahoshi said back in the first part that she had been using the teleportation circles with Orsted to get around the world in a year. She's already been through numerous ones, and Orsted wouldn't use them so casually if they were dangerous, so you can assume that they're safe.
20:25 while there was no sandworm underneath the succubus, there are sandworms on the continent. It cuts the part where one swallows Rudeus, but he blows it apart from the inside and uses earth magic to get back out of the sand.
23:36 there's a reason why that won't work, and it's been hinted at, though one hint is only in the LN, Cliff does mention something about her mana and how the underwear is supposed to help keep it under control.
Teleportation circles aren't instant, but they still greatly decrease the amount of time it takes to travel. It's not a time dilation effect, more like beaming up in Star Trek, but it takes longer. If there were a time dilation effect, Nanahoshi would've told Rudeus as she wants him also to get back as soon as possible.
Watching the ending is safe at this point, it's not the same story about the OP, you could only watch the first few seconds though haha Well, it's not too long to get to the safe point.
As always I really enjoy your reaction, I also like very much the considerations you have in your mind, from the blind standpoint as the characters would have it (including the differences obviously not all of us may think and consider things in the same way).

I very highly recommend getting ahold of volume 11 of the LN if you can before the next episode and reading chapters 13-14 (the last 2 non-extra) because they cut (it was already confirmed that it would be cut before this part of the season started). It covers the Warriors of the Desert, and it's a shame it was removed since it could have been an entire episode by itself. The chapters aren't super critical to the story, but their omission cuts out some worldbuilding related to the continent of Begaritt.
Also, it should be fine to watch the OP (probably) after episode 21 depending on where it ends (it should be pretty obvious). There's only like one more subtle thing that you won't really notice, maybe two (since someone pointed out something that even I didn't really think about since you don't see a face that could confirm it). It's not really that big of a deal at this point, since the bigger issue of the OP was that it basically tells you that Rudeus was going to decide to go to Begaritt and spoils the whole dilemma that is Turning Point 3. But if you want to be more on the safe side, probably wait until at least episode 22.
