I hope the government of Singapore declared the kramat a national monument and a heritage site. So that it remains protected and preserved through national legislation.
Do you know anything about the Keramat of a holy man along the railway track at Bukit Timah. opposite the Ford Factory? When I was a kid, I see that tombstone and many people pray there. There was also a kampong there before. Now it's removed. The place change alot now so I might not be able to point the exact spot.
During my naval reservist we took out 2 naval Harbour launch to visit kusu Island part of the training , to visit kusu I remember not to eat pork but we didnt follow the rules when we arrived we suddenly being attacked by a goat and we all run to temple and I and my friends hung the pillar like garfield and the temple have a good laugh 😅saying singapore 🇸🇬 in trouble if we are the only fighting man , then we climb the hill and visit the keramat and when we leave the island , suddenly the weather is very bad until one boat 🚢 breakdown and water start seeping , lucky we might it . That is like almost 40 years ago now I am a muslim and I don't believe in keramat or pray to them 🙏 just sharing
Pay visits with respect ok. To believe him/ her to have god's power is not right. God almighty is beyond human being. However each individual is responsible for his/her actions on their visits respectfully.🤲
Hope You also remember that during that era , LKY Targeted, Marginalised & Oppressed SG Muslims , especially Malays …Consolation is Only in 2010 , After LKY caught Red Handed & Paraded like Common Street Criminal at Sikh Police Temple In Singapore is SG Government slowly trying to Correct many of LKY’s Bad Habits…
