I had that ET TV tray in the beginning. I always wondered what happened to it. Whenever I got to antique shops I never find this many old toys. It's like they've all been cleaned out years ago.

You need to go to Archdale Antiques in Archdale, NC. They have a huge section called The Star Wars Store. Tons of vintage.

Best place I found for Star Wars stuff was a toy flea market in South Louisville, Kentucky. I found several Kenner figures I didn’t have.

I miss these type of places ,as here in australia near my area they all have seemed to disappear ,or been replaced with crappy stalls selling new items way overpriced…I used to love going to places like this… trash and treasure (flea markets),….as a kid I would go with $20 and come home with so much cool stuff ,but now $20 gets me a Dagwood dog and a can of coke and if I’m lucky a couple bucks change ,I remember buying WHIZZER AND CHIPS comics for 5c each,and i recently paid $30 just for one to put in a frame to remind me of the good old days,cheers mate …..

Seeing stuff from my childhood in an antique store sure does make me feel old. I’d also like to try and buy that Thundercats Lion-O figure from LJN (the company that also makes terrible video games), but with my luck, they’d ask too much for it.

I got 2 Star Wars items my mom got me when we visited an antique store but they weren't toys. A small C3po nutcracker and a Star Wars 8 track tape.
Treasure-hunting in the wild like this is how we used to search for old toys. The Internet gave us more choices with better chances of finding stuff, but the enjoyment from the search was lost. Edit: $37.50 for a beat-up Han Solo that's in noticably worse condition than the $28 Luke X-wing? Bullcr-p!

Man this place looks like a goldmine compared to what we have around here. I've never seen a Castle Greyskull in any flea market or antiques store around here in my entire life. Never see He-Man, Thundercats, vintage Joes. Haven't seen any Kenner Star Wars since like the 90s. Almost never see anything older than Wii/PS2/Xbox 360 era video game stuff. I barely even see any of the cool 90s toy likes like Star Trek or anything Star Wars that isn't super common stuff you can't give away! This place looked to have a lot of cool 90s toys and some really neat older toys and items.
That Captain America look like he had too many Pabst Blue Ribbons! $37 for a Han Solo beater? That’s like all those people selling Boba Fetts with their feet chewed off, thinking they’re gonna pay off their mortgage with the proceeds.

I like seein' a Pro at work "in the field" Junk, you reminded me of Terminator when they do _his_ P.O.V. and you see 'em scanning N stuff! But, for some reason, I thought you were gonna find a buncha loose figures that were like dirt dirty filthy cheap! Sigh...I guess that's all part the hunt for red octob..I mean red fox..I mean the hunt fo cheap! \m/

Why do all of us older set say “breaker 1-9” when we pick up a CB or pretend to be talking on one? I do not recall what it might be from. These kind of stores are one of the reasons I enjoy the southeast. We do not have many of at all up north. Always fun to look through.
Breaker 1/9 is like Hello. You say it so others know you are about to speak or asking for something.

Antique malls are everywhere now, and are basically like flea markets without the Chinese counterfeit stuff. Google search your area to find the nearest one.

Did you eat at Casa Mexico? I see the Mexican guys riding mountain bikes over the bridge that work there all the time. Dudes are ripped and really know how to handle the roads.

Alright junky, what town is this in? I travel from Hartsfield Jackson up 85 to western S Carolina next weekend, might take a side trip on way there. I keep wanting to stop at either the Toccoa or Livonia flea markets on 85 just south of SC and never take the time (I can’t remember which place it is). I may that Friday my flight is pretty early.

every place like this has really high prices on junk.hardly never find anything special,hard to find or rare or hardly any sought after items.when you rarely find something its double or triple than what you can get it for on ebay.

@@ThatJunkman state, a car over 25 years old you can get an antique or vintage license plate from the government also because of a cars age you don’t have to abide by certain emissions controls so actually yes junkman I love you and everything but even cars over 20 years are considered vintage I think what you’re thinking of is something that is referred to as a classic which is not even really a year it’s more of a year and model, so this is one thing that is really your opinion and you didn’t debunk it but you do prove to be a gatekeeper in this one opinion love you man, but you’re starting to sound a little bit like anal and retro blasting 😘

Soon as i see there's a long identification card or sticker ( etc) , i just move on n don't bother even looking at the prices, cuz they're obviously been scrutinized n priced out. U can find hella good deals tho at some junk/antiques stores: $7-10 SW or Joe figures, $20 for for some HISS tanks i got last year. .50 cent ug ugnaught at goodwill loose bin = has all those McDonald's toys n orher crap. U can usually talk these ppl down too.
