I Love your videos of the traveling you do, Alexander and Melissa. Afraid my traveling days are behind me. Turns out that cancer decided to go to my lungs. I'm not going through any treatments so it's a matter of time. Thank you for sharing so much fun and treasure hunting with me! God bless your family! I will keep watching! ☺️✌🏼☮️
I liked your post because I agree I enjoy their family and traveling videos so much. However, I'm truly sorry for what you are going through. From someone else, that doesn't know you, I wish you well and said a prayer for peace and hope for you.
Nice antique shop, I could spend hours and hours looking at everything in there!!! 💓💝💘❤💖 watching your videos, thank you for sharing and have a great evening!!
That poster is by Frank Kozik, a famous artist and designer that did many concert posters and album cover during the 90s and up to his death this last May. Amazing artist.
I so enjoy watching your mineos. It was very interesting to see what was in the antique shop. I hope you're getting so much needed. Rest and relaxation for all of you.
So glad you got to document front street before the tragic fires. 😢 always has been our favorite vacation destination. I hear the banyan tree is gone too. I’m sick about this.
Looks like y’all are having a blast. I know I should would be. Nice to here Steven being interested in some of the antiques. God bless & keep having fun.🙏🤗💗
Fun little tour. Was hoping you might find a Zoltar or other item that you could compare to the one you had. Lots of possibilities of souvenirs for the family. Best wishes ❤️ to you all.
Some very interesting things in there . Surprised they had so many Beatles albums in one place . That photo album was really cool. Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤
I lived on Maui for 5 years. I miss it almost every day. I've got recommendations if you want any! One good trip is to the Ali'i Kula lavendar farm, drive up to Polipoli park for one of the best disc golf courses in the world, if you've got a 4x4 you can drive up to the summit. On the way there's a trail to a cinder cone. The spiders aren't poisonous like in Australia but the cane spiders can be bigger than your hand, they jump, and their eyes reflect red light at night. That T-1000 bullet thing is coooooooool!
Alex, If you are interested in purchasing good quality Alohawear, focus on shirts labeled "Made in Hawaii." Avoid clothing labeled "Styled in Hawaii." Shirts with horizontal button holes are usually from the 60s or earlier, so they are more desirable. Great brands include Kamehehameha, earlier Kahala, M. Nui, Cooke Street, and Tori Richards. Vintage shirts made by local tailors and seamstresses are also a good buy. Outstanding contemporary made in Hawai'i makers include Sig Zane and Manuheali'i. Glad to hear you and yours enjoyed your holiday in Hawai'i Ala, it's a very special place.
whenever you see old record collections look for the soundtrack LP of Xanadu w/ Olivia NG and Travolta. The last two l found both went over $500 each. Theyre the holy grail for vinyl collectors now for whatever reason and l found two in 2 years. One in a record store for $3.
I have an original pee wee Herman doll that still works. It was my husbands. He only owned three dolls. Pee wee , the mouse from the Ed Sullivan show, and a sailor doll, I am the doll collector but he wanted those.they brought back memories for him.
I am watching this August 11, because I have been doing a lot of travelling. I have also been watching all the news on the Hawaii devastation. My heart hurts.😢😢😢
Many years ago, my sister & her husband went to Hawaii for a vacation. I asked her to pick me up a real Hawaiian shirt. She came back with a pink tank top with a tiny flower on front with Hawaii written on it, i was hoping for a shirt kinda what youre wearing.
Sad that much of Lahaina was devastated and is no more and will need to be rebuilt. Huge very destructive and deadly fire yesterday and today. Praying for those affected with loss.
It's amazing how much Islanders have imported from the mainland. Even 20 years ago shipping costs were pretty steep. Even more amazing is that tourists will buy that imported stuff and pay to ship the stuff back.😳🙄
It is not likely that those items were "imported"......it is more likely that they are items brought by people moving to the island. Then, they die and the estate is sold off and pieces find their way to second-hand stores - - just like on the mainland.
Your video of the antique shop would probably be good to submit to the insurance company for them if they lost everything…because it shows a lot of their content
That traditional belief only applies to lava from the Islands, not to imported minerals. The Hawaiian Islands are volcanic in origin, so there is not a wide range of mineral or rock types.
Alex, not to nit pick, but the shop is in Wailuku. Kahalui is down in the flat area but the bay. Not a big deal, but I think the owner would love having your fans visit his shop! K.
I remember when Stephen was still a tween, and hadn't even started with the cracking voice. Now hes basically grown with a relatively deep man voice. My goodness, where has the time gone?
in ireland a blacked out old photo was because during war / occupation the enemy would not recogise a person of interest and punish the whole family ie the war of independance in 1919 - 1922
Mahalo for the visit, and the great video Alex, I'm happy you enjoyed the shop, it was a pleasure meeting you and your family 🤙
Sending prayers for Maui.
Thinking of everyone in Maui.

Sorry to hear that Carla, personally i would like to hear from you
@carlajeanfedder3965 I know you were not addressing me, but I just now sent a little prayer for you and your family ♥️
God Bless you!!!

Another Cool Video, I wouldn't expect anything less Alex. 👍👍👍👍 Loved it. ❤❤❤❤❤ As always, May God Bless you & ALL your loved ones ALWAYS! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Nice store. Thanks for taking us on vacation with you..places I've never been
When you first walked into the antique store, I was reminded of your own, the feeling was so similar.
Enjoyed watching this antique shop.
The opening sunset was divine!
Quite a nice antique shoppe with lots of kool stuff. Thanks for taking us along, Alexander.
Loving your trip and all the antiques and your shirt is lovely too

I love Melissa's hair!! I have noticed it before but forgot to comment. I'm sorry I'm getting old. LOL
Awesome, thanks for sharing!

Yeah. I told him too. Frank just died.
That was one cool antique store!! Thank you for the tour🤗

I like the red Hawaiian shirt hanging by the door. I would wear that! Lol…
Loved the photo album xxx
Thanks for sharing your journey ...🥰🥰
That has the vibe of your old shop!
Fun little tour. Was hoping you might find a Zoltar or other item that you could compare to the one you had. Lots of possibilities of souvenirs for the family. Best wishes ❤️ to you all.
You guys got out of there just in time, before the fire started on the island. Pretty sad. Nice Video!!! 🤗🤗♥️♥️
Some very interesting things in there . Surprised they had so many Beatles albums in one place . That photo album was really cool. Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤
Awe!!!! PeeWee!! You should have grabbed him!! Idk when exactly you filmed this, maybe he hadn’t passed yet when you were there?
Really enjoy your show. The bayonet your son was looking at is quite rare it still has quillon or hook...used to collect miltaria. Again great show.

beach glass would be fun to get and fashion jewelry out of
Looks fun, nice video as always!
We love that store!! My son Alec worked at Wailuku Coffee down the street from there!!❤
I like that photo album. The man's face scratched out gives it more mystery.
It's a great store.
He usually has great music blasting.
Bizarre items.
Glad you made it there.
Love Maui, we stayed in Kaanapali. It’s like heaven ❤
Kaanapali is beautiful! That must have been a fantastic trip
That PeeWee Herman doll just became much more valuable.

First impression, looks like your old store. I miss it.
Ironic you showed the PeeWee Herma doll a few days after he passed but this was filmed way b4 his passing.
Samething I thought😢
Goodness, he was still alive??Must have been in his 90s!
@@janemary8339 no just 70
Alexander,
You should have said "Aloha"...
NIce shopin Hawaii
Cheers,
Rik Spector
When he was looking at the Beatles records, I saw the Butcher cover lp, 50 cents!
Enjoyed.
I saw a few artworks from Margaret Keane in the background. She ended up settling in Hawaii .
Has anyone told you how much Steven sounds like you? When your both off camera I have a hard time picking out who's talking...LOL
The front of the antique shop reminds me of your last antique shop.
Maui, wowie! 😊
Great going antique shopping with an antique guy. Did y'all buy anything interesting, or were the prices outrageous? 😊
The Pee Wee doll made me sad now that he has passed.
2:03 I tried that monster drink Stephen is drinking and it’s really good!😆

The Gwar poster is likely from the 90s or early 2000s. It might have been illustrated by Art Chantry.
GWAR good times 😊
Tori Richards,,, anything with cars on the shirt surf boards hidden pocket a must for Hawaiian Aloha shirts
Be kind to each other. Stay safe. Love to all
Did you leave Maui before the fires started? Hope you're all ok!
Melissa: "Vancouver's kind of like the Hawaii of Canada." I think only a Canadian would feel that way but as a Canadian, I agree with her.
That is T2 prop was pretty cool
Thank you
That statue would look good in the pool house. Just sayin...
I just read that comment under mine. 😂
Great minds think alike. ;)
That Peewee Herman just went up in price.

Hi guys I. Went To Waikiki Hawaii in 1990 !!! Enjoy
You should check out the labels and prices on those Hawaiian shirts. You never know when you will end up with a collection.
Your video of the antique shop would probably be good to submit to the insurance company for them if they lost everything…because it shows a lot of their content
When its time to change you got to rearrange.
RIP Paul . That doll is going to go up in price now .
the timing on that Peewee Herman . . . R.I.P.
The first comic in that stack of comics is a good one.. if its real
Do you know if these beautiful treasures were lost in the recent fires?
Finding that Pee Wee Herman doll grabbed my attention, considering the timing.
Those NES games at 6:20 ♥
I wonder if the Pele curse applies to rocks you buy in a shop? Not sure I’d want to find out!
That traditional belief only applies to lava from the Islands, not to imported minerals. The Hawaiian Islands are volcanic in origin, so there is not a wide range of mineral or rock types.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Did your " Dapper Dan " hair pomade make it through airport security Alex?
pee wee passed away sunday RIP Paul My sister was his biggest fan. Her entire house was decorated all Pee Wee.
I remember when Stephen was still a tween, and hadn't even started with the cracking voice. Now hes basically grown with a relatively deep man voice. My goodness, where has the time gone?
Is the store still standing?
What good is art deco when all you have is a LED light to put in it. Doesn't look light the same.
Wish you had bought the tin types.
that Pee Wee Herman doll is going to be worth something since he just passed away
Just curious if you bought anything?
that front door looks like your old store
💗
Saw the Pee-Wee doll in the antique shop. . . R.I.P. to Paul Reubens.
The bayonet is a Japanese type 30 ww2 for arisaka rifles.
Any news about this shop? Was it in the fire area??
no, the fires were actually a small part of the island, this section was safe
in ireland a blacked out old photo was because during war / occupation the enemy would not recogise a person of interest and punish the whole family ie the war of independance in 1919 - 1922
Peewee doll might be worth something now that he has passed away...RIP
Wow doesn't the entrance of the store in the beginning remind me of your store
That's a ww2 Japanese Arisaka Bayonet
Pee wee just died. You should have bought the doll. Also that rock poster was probably crafted by Frank Kozik who also just died.
