Thank you very much, Tonya! I'm all shook up by your kind words, and I'm truly humbled to be an inspiration to someone as talented as you. I believe the secret to success is passion and perseverance, just like the wise ol' saying goes, "Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful." So keep on doing what you love darling, and making your own content full of color and life and remember, a little less conversation, a little more action! Hugs right back at ya

They missed so many opportunities to professionally record Elvis through the years. You have done a great job on this, I have always been interested to see more of this show. It was such a strange format, the rotating stage and the size of the venue. He broke some attendance records with these shows. H was so on top during these years 69-73 and it is great you are bringing us enhanced / remastered videos of Elvis, Thanks you.

    • @AkshatLuthra

I completely agree with you that they missed so many opportunities to professionally record Elvis. We are fortunate enough to be watching some amateur footage of Elvis performing live. It is always a joy for me to work on enhancing and remastering these videos so that fans like you and me, can enjoy them in the best possible quality. Also agree with you that the rotating stage and size of the venue are unique and added to the overall spectacle of Elvis's performances. It is fascinating to watch how Elvis was able to captivate his audiences during these shows and break attendance records. Glad to know that you are enjoying my videos, and it is my pleasure to bring these to Elvis fans around the world. Thank you for your support and encouragement!

I think Elvis still had a lot of dreams to perform outside of the USA at that point in time and unfortunately that was taken away from him. Too bad it would have done him good.

@tommyTCB It would have been good for him. It would have gotten him away from Parker and work with new promoters and away from Vegas which became too much of a crutch for him and eventually doing him in.

If I hadn't been in the front row at the concert I was at, I may have been able to get some film but security guards were watching out for fans with movie cameras, and I got caught before the concert even started. They removed the film from the camera. At least I got a bunch of good still photos.

It's amazing how much detail was actually captured on 8mm, it always used to seem like very little detail was on the negative, but you can see the pattern on the guy's suit in the press conference. It looks almost like 16mm at times, the color is great, too. There's probably a TONNE of 8mm footage from concerts of the 1960s and 70s out there as many people had such cameras back then and people were taping the sound at shows.

Marvelous. I think they should have recorded this concert on film. All of that space, it would have been good to setup cameras, and even record an album. But I wonder why they couldn't have gotten a stage for his normal orchestra? Or did they leave them out on purpose, because of it being a ; Country/ Western kind of area, and it didn't "fit in" per say?

Elvis played SO many cities and towns in Texas that there's two books written just about Texas. Plus he traveled the country in the 70's with more tours than anyone. He was very obviously tired. This went on for too long. He did so many little places that no one could remember them all. Little bity towns and surrounding Houston places, and all over this state.

Like your insight! High wisdom! .......Elvis is actually one of the two greatest masterpieces that ever lived. Fact is: These two men were also the most "sought after". Presley came alongside the other man, born one hour afterward. January 8, 1935 and escape from the horror across the Atlantic was ensured. "Sought after" because a lie had taken off on one of these men from envy, jealousy, anger on and on. Like kind came to close off further living off their kind....Parasitical life had taught the lie to everybody; Find the big guy, put your anger/cross upon him. Crucify and walk off proclaiming you own his mansions in the sky. These two men came to close that parasite operation down. This video; note disfigurement already begun on Presley's face. Parasites have hit on his respiratory system.....Hard! Knowing this, watch again; see Elvis is on to them and doing a great job of holding back his fury! Every change we see come upon Presley following this time was one brutal parasitic transfer. Elvis's manhood did not include chest hair; we know that from his island movies. Suddenly, Good Gosh, parasites have put a malfunctioning chest full of black hair, one large cross and their blown up bodies upon who? Look up Gladys, find the parasite around Elvis that Gladys began to look near to exactly like, then die. Twas a man, or looks like one......One with tons of outside help. Look no further to find the culprit, Lisa Marie also. Your comment is so wonderful! Many so get off on that poor ole Elvis lie. This was find the big guy, get the job done that they try to cover up by blaming their target. They are caught! Thanks for your support from the Presley's and myself. Rebecca Ann Grubb

You're right. t's really disturbing to me how certain people are now trying to rewrite history. It amazes some awful things that are being said about Elvis by nasty people who hate everything good.

In our local news paper, the Saturday insert by Lindy Shannon told Elvis Fans to WRITE Letters to Houston Astrodome because the people running the Show wouldn't allow Elvis' female back up singers, THE SWEET INSPIRATIONS, to be ON STAGE with Elvis! Elvis was asked to LEAVE the girls back home. . . . I took the insert to School the next day and TOLD ALL ELVIS FANS TO WRITE LETTERS. . .Houston Astrodome won't allow The Sweet Inspirations to go on Stage with Elvis. I bought books and books of Postage Stamps for the Fans Letters and we FLOODED the local Post Office with them. . . .OUR LETTER WRITING CAMPGNE IS STILL "WELL" KNOWN ! ! ! {SMILES} envelopes front and back. . .
      Postman! Postman! DON'T GO . . "s l o w".
      Be like Elvis and. . .GO! MAN! "G O" ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
I would learn many, many years later The Jackson Five performed on that same Stage the night before. . WHAT WAS THE REAL PROBLEM, THE BIG DEAL ABOUT ELVIS, WAS TOLD TO LEAVE BEHIND HALF OF HIS GROUP? ? ? :( :( Elvis asked the SWEETS if they wanted to not go on Stage. . .they said THEY ARE GOING ON. . .what happens, happens? ! ? !
THANK YOU for SHARING a PART of Elvis and THE SWEET INSPIRATIONS Show.
Things did work out AFTER. . .I'M sure Elvis and the whole Group were "sweating"
BULLETS, VERY NERVOUS, HOLDING their BREATHS and still trying to
put on a Grand Show !
You can SEE that in Elvis' face in this Interview.
Thanks, Again Publisher of video; You are TCB with MUCH TLC

Very nice interview. Elvis jovial and funny. Why don't they put a glass of water or juice on the table for goodness sakes, he's their guest? This is at the Astradome when he was told he could leave the Sweet Inspirations at home! Elvis wasn't having any of that racial talk! Very nice footage, clear sound and the colour contrast is super! Thank you. 🥇👍🎼

Stop believing that stuff coming from the attention seeker, Myrna! Never heard that from ANY of the other Sweets! They were WERE NOT riding around the arena!! She NEVER knew Elvis would be so darn loved all these years later and that people could call her on it! Please, that would have never happened with those guys I met who got Elvis here. They loved him! Would have NEVER said that! Amazing how ridiculous things are said and repeated as fact. Over and over on the internet. LIES. Houston is far from a hick city!! And you keep repeating this! Not another Sweet said it!

UA-cam: all Elvis' Louisiana HAYRIDE Shows. Still picture, hear, Elvis, Scotty & Bill performing :) UA-cam; Elvis' early interviews. READ: EIN (Elvis Information Network), check out all the interviews of all the people Elvis performed with when he/they started out, Mother Maybell Carter & Family, The Carter Sisters. .:) :) Elvis had a crush on one of the Carter Sisters, NOT June Carter (Cash), Jim Ed Brown and his (2) Sisters, one has a LONG interview about THOSE EARLY DAYS and Scotty Moore and Bill Black, etc. Same with ELVIS AUSTRALIA--interviews You can find youtube interviews from people Elvis toured with in early days (one Ralph Emery Show) an Elvis Story :) :) They is plenty there!
