The God who knows the heart, is always listening. I know exactly this kind of experience. Be sure that the Lord is saying to you "I see you, I hear you, and I know what you need when you need it." Glory to Jesus Christ!
There is an armenian instrument called duduk. It.s very peacefull indeed. Often used as a background for videos like this with words from the elders, or videos reflecting their lifes.
Believing we are more sinful than all men is hokum! Fake humility and do not believe that's what Christ wants or expects from us. That kind of false humility is not consistent with " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" .
Saint Paul Himself said “I am the chief of sinners”. The idea is that before God, when we are judged, we cannot point a finger to anyone else. All of us are the worst and should consider ourselves as such. It was also Saint Paul who said what you quoted. How can this be? It is not either this or that, but it is both and. Chief of sinners and able to do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Confident hope in Christ and in God’s help, and while we draw closer to Him, His divine and infinite light shines into the depths of our souls illumining the places and the parts of ourselves that have yet to be fully submitted to His will. Our sin ever dealt with on more and more minuscule levels if we cooperate with Him. Therefore also it can be said that we change from glory to glory. Saint Paul had so many beautiful things to share with us!
@@thisisgeorge2117Paul murdered many Christian's but yes we are all sinners but I'm not walking around believing my sin is tantamount to murder and pedo activity. That is not discerning or empowering to carry the burdens of fake humility. Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water
@@kennethbrown7627 there certainly is a false humility anyone can take on. I don’t believe that is what Saint Paisius is talking about in this case. The Saints address this issue as well. However, if you look at some Saints upon their death beds will speak in this way “pray for me brethren, for I have only begun to repent.” This they say as in the process of dying miracles happen all around them and they even report seeing the Lord approaching them. I myself cannot speak of humility as if I have attained genuine humility. It also seems to me, that the minute we consider ourselves truly humble, is the same moment we have lost any progress in it. Good conversation. God bless!
The dialogue started with pride. Perhaps you could start with your pride. I agree that i dont hold my sins to equate to liars, killers and pedos. But we all carry a sin that is equatable. My adultress spirit came to me as a child. Very young. It was invoked upon me. That is my greatest burden. That and perhaps calling out every evil I see with a blinding light. But i suppress that evil with constant effort. And have lived forty years of it. The only peace ive had from it was this year after i fasted for over a month. I think Orthodoxy fasting is where i need to be. It was a very dear peace like no other.
Wow this is a powerful yet simple way of trusting GOD
He holds us in the palm of HIS hand😭🥲🙏🥰thank you, needed this🥰🙏
Yesterday I was wondering “what *is* humility. I never said it out loud . Here today , this clip.
