this might be a weird story to drop here, but last year I threw a halloween party for the first time with my roommates. it was amazing -- all our friends came, music, food, great costumes, it was a hit. it was also the night that my ex-partner and I found out we liked each other and wanted to date. he broke up with me a few months ago, I've been devastated and it's left me a little shy of halloween, especially halloween parties. I was listenting to this while putting away laundry, and suddenly realized that with this lovely lady planning my party, walking me through every detail, and gossiping so confidently, I feel a little less anxious about halloween approaching. I can't explain it, and I still won't be celebrating, but it's like she gives me confidence to do the holiday on my own terms.
I would absolutely love to attend this party.. seems much better than Halloween themed excuses for people to just drink. I would love to attend a classy spooky party with this interesting bunch :)

Fantastic video! Your costumes and props (and don't even get me started on the writing) are always so cool when it involves different time periods. I always feel like I'm there! The 1920's are always a fun listen. One small criticism that I can't help but notice, though. At certain points in the video I think the background music has some deep and bassy sounds that end up sounding like a phone buzzing. So it's a little distracting since my headphones pick up those bass notes pretty easily. 😅 An example of what I mean here if you listen closely: 19:39
