At 4:37 the game will not let me put the railing there, it will only let put in the middle but then it's not lined up correctly. I have grid snap turned off (I toggled it back and forth to make sure) yet it snaps. The game seems to only let you place the railing every 2 full tiles.
@@t-trainCEOofOhana It would most likely either be Circular or a 3x3x3 type of construction. I will say that I've noticed the heaters' aoe can be blocked by LoS, so they won't penetrate walls. You'd thus want a mostly open layout if you're trying to minimise heater usage. If you want to maximise usage, I'd drop the deviants into a recessed area in the center, and use the containment units as floor tiles, essentially. You can still access them easily from above.They're the exact same height as a half wall + ceiling on it, which is why they can't be covered.
bases for the winter scenario are no different from regular bases. The problem of protection from cold and heat is easily solved by using animal skins when crafting with appropriate resistance. Additionally, you can use a new set. it also provides protection from temperatures)
@@LyumiLight I'm not planning to get the Blackstone Set anytime soon, but I understand what you mean. This is more for an early/ week 1 solo player. I also prefer small/ compact bases that try to not waste space, but still seem open, with a big focus on being able to move that base anywhere/ into any terrain with minimal spawn issues. At the end of the day, you don't even need to worry about the hides/ armor, because you just need Heatium/ Coldium + Food & drink buffs to have around 74C resist for either heat/ cold if you focus on one.

@ для подачи воды выше нужна установка помпы. лучше посмотреть гайд как это всё работает. возможно что-то изменили разработчики. я давно не играл

I miss the housebuilding, it was so relaxing. But the rest of the game is so generic and garbage, especially as a pve player.
Don't worry, the pvp is pretty bad as well.
