I think because of swatching, i think it actually stopped me from doing lots of projects. In a new knitter just started in January. I really want to make so many things. 😩 the struggle is real with mohair frogging.
Welcome to the knitting community!! ✨ same here, I almost never swatch because it zaps all my creative energy 😅😅
@kniteweup also some will tell you to block who wants to block it. Most of the time, I purchase yarn thinking I hope I have enough on top of they also want me to make a swatch... Should I be buying always an extra skein each time just to block. Maybe yarn stores should add blocking swatches for these prices it should come automatically with a little mini gage swatch. If I opened a yarn store, I think I'd offer that. I'm a fellow Canadian BTW just over your border in Southern Alberta, the small city. 😉
