Wow, the new module actually worked! :) LineageOS 20 on OnePlus 7. I was losing hope and was getting ready to re-lock my bootloader and reflash OxygenOS... It will be nice to be back on LineageOS for a while :) Thanks!
@@CyberPunkEdu Well, it stopped working within hours, but then I noticed there was an update to the module, which fixed it again. Let's see how the "cat and mouse" unfolds... Bloody Google.

It should work on any OS technically. Sorry to hear it's not working for you. It could be that the google wallet is updated, so may need to wait on and updated play integrity fix module.
Be sure to check that you're using the playintegrityfix module from the description (latest version - there may be an update, or one on the way if wallet just updated) rather than the safetynet fix in the original video. You can try reinstalling the wallet app, and remember to clear the app cache at the end too.
Thanks, I'm glad this worked! I was worried it wouldn't because MagiskHidePropsConf is no longer maintained. Hope a new version of Android won't break it.

@@CyberPunkEdu bro I have a question. Google assistant works fine on yours lineage20os? On my Samsung a70 I can't use it because "ok google doesn't work on this device"

@@CyberPunkEdu Most likely will try a contactless payment later this afternoon. Also, I just noticed a message when PIF installs that the Magisk Hide Properties Conf module might conflict with it. So I removed MHPC. Phones still pass YASNAC and Google Wallet doesn't complain. That said, I don't think MHPC ever conflicted with PIF on my phones.

Thanks. I used this video as a basis for making GooglePay working on a Pixel 3a with LineageOs 21 (unofficial). I installed Magisk 27 from APK and installed two modules, the MagiskHidePropsConf-v6.1.2 (though it is said to be deprecated) and also PlayIntegrityFix_v15.7.2. I added all the Google Play Services to the deny list and cleared the caches and storage. Google Pay is working after that. It seems paradoxical that I have to root the phone to convince it that it's safer when it complains that it's unsafe when it's not rooted.
Wow! Thank you for the up-to-date look at this issue. I'm glad it is working for you and on Lineage 21 with the same methods. I, too, find it funny that you have to with it more to make it "safe." Thanks again for sharing the details.
Your method continues to work on my Google Pixel 4 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 as of the last November 2023 LineageOS 20 updates (it's December 1 today and both phones are fully updated). I find that sometimes I need to reupdate the Play Integrity Fix module after applying the latest LOS update on my P4 but I don't have to clear the caches for Google Wallet, etc. On my XRN 9, I always need to reinstall Magisk and sometimes reupdate Play Integrity Fix. Again, I don't have to clear the caches for Google Wallet, etc.

Hello, Magisk is something you would install in addition to LineageOS (ua-cam.com/video/HC9Lkkj57bE/v-deo.html). So, you should be able to install Magisk still and then add the extra modules.
My redmi k50i on op mod custom rom passed safety net but after logging in Gpay it keeps giving error when adding bank. Error is - make sure sim card for number (my number) is inserted in the phone. If you reset phone recently please update firmware etc error
I think PIF 14 has now been banned by Google. I get an error message on my Google Pixel 4 but, oddly, not on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. YASNAC on the XRN 9 says that the CTS profile match failed, though. Seems like Google is winning the arms race with PIF...for now. Sorry to hear that it's not working. Did you use the updated module mentioned in the description? The video initially says to use a different module. Though your issue sounds a bit more unique. Google play services sometimes needs to update everything first.
Is it even safe to use banking apps and tap to pay on a rooted device though? Doesnt it open up vulnerabilities and allow your phone to get hacked easier. Ive been on graphene os for a year and the lack of tap to pay is so irritating.
I hear you about not having tap pay on GrapheneOS. Rooted lineage isn't very secure from a tampering perspective if you have physical access to the device, though the data is encrypted, but I think the main risk comes from the user installing false apps or modules. It really depends on how much you trust the software/module that you are using. Haven't tried to make a contactless payment yet but I will check it later today. As I understand the conversation around PIF 14.1, it's been designed to pull in new fingerprints as Google bans current ones. Sounds like chiteroman will add the new fingerprints so that users don't have to update the module. If that's the case, I hope it works over the long haul. Note that a reboot (or killing an unstable GMS process) will be required after a new fingerprint is added to PIF 14.1.

PIF 14.3 as of 2023 12 11. The arms race is alive and well. The note that accompanies the new PIF module within the Magisk Manager app suggests that the developer is losing his patience with Google. ;
Thanks for keeping us updated. I wish there was a better solution for developers.
@@CyberPunkEdu Well, at least there's a solution that still works.
Thanks!!! IT WORKS!
Great! Good to hear that it's still working for people.
failed for me on a Pixel 2XL and Lineage 20. Oh well, it was worth trying, thanks for the tutorial!
Ah, sorry to hear that it's not working on your device. Thanks for trying and sharing the results.
Oh, new update. Install this magisk module ( github.com/chiteroman/PlayIntegrityFix/releases/), then clear cache for all the apps mentioned again and it should work
Not working anymore device ismot certified even if safetynet passed
That's too bad. Even with the latest playintegrityfix? github.com/chiteroman/PlayIntegrityFix/releases
it wont work with android 7?
I'm not sure, but usually the gpay app requires a newer version of android.
Can I use opengapps? And lineage 18.1?
I think it should work. The main part is using the magisk modules to provide play integrity.
Didn't work
The video contents are a bit outdated. The latest playintegrity fix as mentioned in the description might work.
And dont forget to hide kitsune app in the settings
Unfortunately, this didn't work for me on OnePlus 7 Pro with Lineage OS 20. I even tried with 2 clean installs of LineageOS, followed the steps to the dot (including enforcing the denylist that's missing from the video) and still get the error... :(
Oh thanks for pointing out that enforcing the denylist is missing. It's unfortunate that it's not working. More people are reporting that lately. I wonder if there have been updates to things or if it's just device-specific.
@@CyberPunkEdu I hope there's a fix soon :/ Thanks for the tutorial though
@@emirzip I noticed it stopped working for my device too just recently :(
@@emirzip Oh, new update. Install this module (github.com/chiteroman/PlayIntegrityFix/releases/), then clear cache for all the apps mentioned again and it should work
THIS WORKED!! That's awesome! @@CyberPunkEdu
working!
Glad it's still working :)
How to setup magisk??
Hello, here is a tutorial to install Magisk ua-cam.com/video/HC9Lkkj57bE/v-deo.html
Not working
Are you using play integrity fix from the link in the description?
First time ❤ this not work … because I watched lot of video from YT..add some modules afterward I deleted alll modules… I tryed❤❤❤❤❤❤ yours it works thanks ….. 😂 we need some luck 😢….. ############ Working🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I'm glad it works for you :) Thanks for letting me know.
Not working again. Any ideas?
Yes me too. On rooted oneplus8t
Chiteroman is still struggling with the next upgrade (PlayIntegrityFix_v14.1.zip). Maybe it will work out in the end.
It seems that gpay is getting patched quicker than expected. I wonder if this is working (have yet to test it myself): github.com/althafvly/ih8sn
@@ffoxpl4506 I just installed PIF 14.1 on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 and rebooted. Then I was able to add a credit card to Google Wallet. Of course, it also passed YASNAC.
I was also able to add a credit card to Google Wallet on my Pixel 4 using PIF 14.1. It also passes YASNAC. Haven't tried a contactless payment on that phone yet either.
super, tu
Didn't work at all
Thanks too bad. Which modules are you using? The one in the video has been replaced by playintegritfix in the description, and it's important to check that one for updates as well.

Sorry to hear it's not working for you. It seems to be working on some other devices.
@@CyberPunkEdu i did it yesterday and it works
just update everything
not working
Make sure to use the latest playintegrity fix module. If it still doesn't work, then you might need to wait for an update. There are a lot of nuanced steps required for it to be successful.
didnt work
Make sure to use the latest playintegrity fix module, and clear the cache of the apps. Sometimes wallet updates and then the module becomes out of date.
