Mabuhay Squad, thank you all for watching another vlog and joining us on this fun journey of discovery as we build our dream farm home. Hope you remember to LIKE, COMMENT, SHARE and SUBSCRIBE. We'd really appreciate it! Hugs! Also, if you have a pet animal that you can no longer care for and needs a home, you can email me and we can see if our home is a good fit for your pet. We're happy to assess our options and adopt if we ever have room, resources, and experience to give your animal a loving home. ❤️
You could save all of Rizzelles cut fur, and after you've accumulated a bunch give it to someone that can spin it into yarn and then into something like a blanket, beanie/tuke, scarf etc.
I LOVE Christmas. The fact that you can celebrate it for so long, is amazing. Your Christmas tree is awesome! It was such a fun journey, watching your house get built from the ground up and now we get to watch your farming lot go through the same process. Thanks for being you. ❤
You can add fruit bearing tree. Like rambutan ansones, pomelo, avocado and mango. Ull enjoy fruit overload in few years. Our backyard have them so every season not only us enjoy the free fruit but also our neighbors.
Here in Australia it gets very hot and any grass that is exposed to constant sun needs watering, easy to do is add an irrigation around the area the grass is struggling plus a yearly fertilising should do the trick ❤
The Christmas tree in my country I think have traditions that are country based and some are family based. Most of the Danes have real trees, for some it is a family tradition to go to a field find the tree you like and chop it down together. When I was a child the tree would come up a few days before Christmas but now I like to have it up most of December so I can enjoy it. I had to buy a stand that can hold water so it can last longer. In the old days it was very common that the parents did the decoration at night or at the daytime and then Christmas Eve they would reveal the tree with all its lights for the children and other members of the family they were having Christmas with. In my family we have always decorated together with the sound of Christmas music in the background maybe some Christmas cookies and some glögg. I believe decorating the Christmas tree together is a big tradition in many families. Maybe because many of the ornaments have stories and history. From when the children were small, some cards from family members that aren’t with us anymore, some ornaments your grandmothers made or some ornaments that represents a place you went to or experience you had together. So it’s like going down memory lane every time we decorate the tree and I love that. For the longest time we always used real candles for the tree, but after a vacation in America we fell in love with fake lights. And have since 2009 used electric lights as well. The last few years we have only used electric lights because of the burning and fire hazard. After the lights the first thing we add to the tree is the national flag. To make sure they were not near the flames of the candles. A special Danish tradition is the Christmas heart, an interwoven paper heart often made of red and white paper, the colors of the Danish flag. These paper hearts are put on the Christmas tree and work as a gift basket for sweets and candy for the children during Christmas days and Christmas Eve. This is of course mostly to occupy the children but also like treasure hunt. The evening can feel long, because we eat first and then we sing and dance around the Christmas tree before opening presents. So the evening can feel quite long for children.
Love the fall bc of the fall foliage so beautiful in the mountains and I live near bunch of state parks so it's really pretty plus it sweat pants and hoodie weather . I love the tropics but I thinks it just being hot year around for the most part would kind of drive me crazy I would end up traveling alot just to enjoy the different seasons
Some grass-like plants in your indoor aviary would also look great if combined with the branches and vines that you planned to use as decoration if you're gonna be placing finches inside it to make them feel more at home since that type of environment is where most finches come from. Macopa would also be a great addition for the farm lot as they produce a lot of fruit during the fruiting season and anything left unharvested would provide fruit bats and fruit-eating birds some food. Nice to see Suga and Honey again since it's been a while since they've been shown in the vlogs.
It’s truly so lovely to see all of your menagerie and how healthy and happy they all look! I know looking back in a year at the “Mabuhay Squad House and Farm” will be just as surprising and astounding as looking back a year ago and realizing a year ago you were just in the midst of landscaping and the old pool was being demolished and the new much improved one was being dug. Sending out so much love and positive vibes from across the globe in the US State of Montana. ✨💖✨
@@MikeyBustosVLOGSI've watched it, and now you just fueled my already overwhelming excitement. Can't wait for your next vlog! Thank you for sharing your positive vibes!
💖I'm continually so impressed how much you two have accomplished in the last couple of years. I'm celebrating today because I had a small tumor removed last Friday and today I found out it was benign! BENIGN... such a beautiful word! They said that it may have become cancerous in a few years so I'm glad it's GONE! It's funny... I'm not worried about dying one day... but the idea of cancer and going through chemo and all that does worry me. Anyway.. I had my first real scans for cancer in my life this year and now I should be good not to do that again for 5 years. YAY! They last few weeks of waiting to have the surgery to remove the tumor and then waiting to find the results were stressful... but as always your POSITIVITY helps so MUCH!!! Thank you Mikey and RJ! LOVE YOU BOTH!💖 🦜🦎There's TWO animals I hope you get so I can live vicariously though you. One of course is another African Grey... but yes I do think they would need to have their primary home inside with you for interactions; training; learning to talk; etc.... but they could go outside in the outside aviary for during nice weather during the days. I hope you also get a Bearded Dragon. I've had Iguanas and love them... but I had no idea how much more personality and interactive my bearded dragon would be. Mine is kind of teenage now and has switch from mostly insects to 90% plants and 10% insects... and actually pouts when he doesn't get all the insects he wants. *lol*🦜🦎
Congrats on the tumour removal and learning it was benign! Yes, I'm sure we will be given both those animals in the future. I LOVE beardies and agree that they have amazing personalities. As per the African Grey, I don't mind taking it inside the home but it definitely would be living outside in the aviary. I also would have it bond with a cage mate, and not me, for praciticality and sustainability.

I love Christmas in The Philippines, I can't wait to get back with my family and loved ones in December. Wow, RJ's creative muse was working overtime, the tree and the house are super festive!
Hey Mikey, you and RJ can always put up numerous Christmas trees inside and outside of your lovely abode. No one's stopping you for having many Christmas trees this year and every year. I'd say go go go. How about themed trees like "Ants/Ants Canada" theme for the ant room? An "Apple" themed Christmas tree somewhere in the second floor of your home or in the kitchen? Doesn't have to be as large as the main tree. Also, some more tabletop trees for the coffee tables, consoles, and your U-shaped kitchen counter. How about a "Beach or Bali" themed tree for the pool bar? That'll be cool! Oh, and a Filipiniana themed tree for the Pinoy Chalet/Bahay Kubo. That'll be great! 🤩🤩🤩😉😉😉
You really got me thinking about putting my tree up early, it feel all cozy just looking at yours I can't wait to see the birds outside too, its so exciting
I love the name “Farm-ville”… perfection! LOL Rizal is SOOOO cute, Britney is pretty cute too. Nothing better than starting the day with puppies. The Mabuhay Paw Patrol, too cool. OMG, it’s just too cool to have a Pooping Duende under the Christmas Tree… not sure if that’s Filipino but, somehow it fits with the fun spirit of the house… LOL. I get such a smile watching RJ shop for home decor, I feel like our spirits have the same roots, LOL. I can just see the creative wheels spin. It’s so funny, I was thinking that Dolarama would be in your future in Toronto. OK, I am officially a huge fan of the rotating wall in your dining room… that was just too cool to see when you changed it out to mirror. This is a brilliant decor piece, for sure! HMMMM, I couldn’t imagine not doing the tree myself. It’s such a personal thing for each family. I remember our trees when I was a kid. It was always the same but incredibly beautiful. Same with my grandparents, each of them did it differently. I agree… doing it yourself makes it so much more personal. OMG, Melody is so pretty. I love that she just ignores the dogs… I think, if we could see into her little mind, she’s lounging there on purpose, LOL. OMG, I’m in LOVE with that pitcher!! I’m going to start my search to find it here. Such ambitious plans for that side-lot. It all sounds fantastic!! I can’t wait for all of this to come together. Ya’ll are really building quite the compound, it’s fantastic! I wish ya’ll could see the modern farming stuff they have at EPCOT. I think you’d find some very interesting things there that would fit into your plans so well. OMG, I’m laughing so hard watching Billy come over to you to say hi… there’s no doubt he knows who you are. That just makes me smile. This was an awesome catch-up vlog! Thanks so much for sharing everything. Ya’ll be safe and take care. I’ll see ‘ya next time.

You should grow Pineapple Mikey. They are from the Bromolade family and are very easy to grow. They will do well in the Philippines.

I think that you got your idea that people hire decorators for their xmas trees from a few rich people. Most of us don't do that.
Oh, ok. I see.
