About the 'firedoors': You always have to close the firedoors for safety measures. When the building is on fire you don't want the fire to spread out towards the stairs.

Also, if you ever go back, you should sneak into the downtown lib- if you think the evansdale lib is nice it will blow you away. And I live super close to that Dunkin and I got so nervous when you went in because it is the worst Dunkin ever!!
