I heard that lizard is delicate though, like you have to be careful about water splashing onto it. Some even said that the scales will also lift like python. How’s your experience with it so far? Thank you so much for watching! I haven't had any issues with my lizard lady diors. The material is actually tough and I've gotten it wet a couple of times. No issues with scratching, lifting, or color fading. I would recommend stepping into the Dior boutique to get a feel. They have some bags with water snake which is softer than lizard, but I haven't purchased a bag with that material so I can't say how durable it is. I'm not sure if LV uses the same kind of lizard as Dior. I would compare between the different textures to see which is more durable. It was my first Capucines so I was focused on getting a size that’s more functional so I went with the BB. I do love it, but I regret not also picking up the Mini Capucines in Lizard . It was like a dark blue iridescent colour. Saw a couple of YTbrs unbox theirs AFTER I returned and it’s stunning! So, now I’m obsessed with that leather. I’m probably going to Paris again later this year, and, with your feedback that lizard is rather durable, I will try to find one in LV or Dior (or both 😜). Regarding snakeskin, well, I have a phobia so I’ll give that a pass for now 😅. Have a great day, and talk to you again soon! 🌺
Did u have to pay the mto price for that bag I’m confused? That’s really messed up they were ready to sell it to u with someone else’s initials on it until u saw it. Like they literally have that one job wth
Mistakes happen and the sales associates at the store handled the situation right away by shipping the bag back to have the initials replaced with mine. I'm sure if I realized later they'd still handle it the same way. The Dior Boutique at The Crystal Mall has always been amazing with customer service. I believed I did pay the MTO price. I just didn't have to put a deposit down for the bag since I didn't place the order.
