Who's made giant bubbles before?
not me
Meeeee
Not me
To the person reading this comment
You are amazing and beautiful 😍
My dream is to hit 25k any help is much appreciated🙏
I haven’t
I was just thinking about playing with this project again, it's one of my favorites! They really like when I take my bubble stuff out to cider mills. They work best this time of year in cooler weather. If you're in a hot climate it can work really well in the middle of the night or early morning.
wink wink
wink wink wink
Hello my man
Why Cider mills?
Did a bit of research on the longest lasting soap bubble (108 days in a chamber full of chilled purified air). That record has been set in the late 1800s - early 1900s by one Sir James Dewar, same guy who invented the thermos. His soap solution consisted of 2% olive oil mixed with ammonium-based, 30% glycerine soap in water. Do you think it is possible to beat that record using modern materials? J-lube is basically sucrose with polyethylene glycol, the latter being a high-tension liquid. Is it better than glycerine?
Did i miss the part when they jumped inside the bubble????
Yes we all collectively looked away at the exact same time they jumped into it, weird huh?
So weird

Leiya Donahue 😂😂 I was filled with such hope there 😂😂
Leiya Donahue you got me 😂 😂 😂
Who else randomly found "The King of Random " one day and has been watching ever since?🍁
Um everone because its the king of RANDOM 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 🤣 😂
I found it during the begining
Shannon Kavanagh yeah everyone
✨the first video from them I saw was about sticking a fork in an outlet and I’ve loved them ever since✨
@@maggiekavanagh9578 haha 😂
Side note, is anyone else mad they didn't try to survive in a bubble. Thats why I clicked the video.
I actually hoped they found a way to make a bubble that could touch the ground without popping, so someone could be inside, but NOPE...
@Ashley-MaRie Deeble I mean I know they can't but at least TRY lol 😆
Sounds like a job for Gav and Dan The Man!
@@gregiep oh yeah, you know they would figure it out!
I'm not mad I just wish they did what they said
Wait, did I miss it? Did they even address if you can "survive" in a giant bubble? Really more like can you jump into a giant bubble.
I must have missed the part where they jumped into a bubble
I think they meant does the *bubble* survive someone jumping into it?
They're trying to get smoke into it. That's why they're seeing if they can survive
@@qsxc8476 I think you misunderstood the question.
WaferMan2012 I’m sure I watched the whole video and I didn’t see them jump into a bubble at any point
Editors: how many times do you want to change your intro?
Nate and Callie: YES
Me WALLEEE
Everyone: Bubbles never hurt a soul.
Nate:
(Chuckles) I'll find a way
Im Am Now Forever Scared Of Nate-
YES
When did he say that? Lol
Cesar Zeppeli would like to argue
"Hey why do you have animal lube, you don't have animals."
"For bubbles."
"Yeah, for bubbles. Definitely for bubbles"
Isn't that what Michael Jackson said?
Scott C A Yooo bubbles da best :)
“Pretty hot day, about 80 Fahrenheit”
Me in California where its been 105 the last two weeks
Me in Missouri where the weather can't make up it's mind on what kind of day it wants to be...
Me also in california where it was 130 degrees in early august
They live in Canada though
Me who lives in Wisconsin where it has been raining constantly for the past week
Heheh come to Texas it’s average of 113 on a summer day, 113 is pretty cool.
Survive??? No, i would definitely die if i ever jump into a thin layer of soap...
haha
😂
Absolutely
100 th like
I didn't see anyone jumping into a bubble
Someone did
Deez nuts
The clip the thumb nail was from probably wasn’t added to the video because you obviously can’t jump completely into a liquid bubble and wasn’t worth adding to the content it was just a great still shot
Diddy Doodat 10:29
Hmmmmm. I have a sinking feeling. Seeing a lot of new faces and less of Calli. 8(
She didn't survive the bubble...
She has another job, working at Evermore!
@@meauxjeaux431 yea, my fear is that the new faces are a replacement and not additions. 8(
Well, if the video has anything to do with fire, she will be there.
Video idea: Donuts in freeze dryer, both regular and cream filled.
Yah!!
😂😂
Ooo yes!
Man, I sure hope so. "Local man killed by bubble" would be an awkward news headline.
Ummmm I think you forgot to do the “jumping into” part
At 0:47 the bubble looks like the Statue of Liberty.
Mr. Raymond, omg yeah!!
Dude, no where in this video did you actually try and jump into the bubble! I'm sad. Cool smoke bubbles though.
Make jello. Replace the water with a different liquid. Do you taste the liquids when its done.
You could try all sorts of liquids. Vodka. Tequila. Rum.
@@gregiep "Can you get alcohol poisoning by eating jello"
gregiep, XD
SM Tengjy, yeah
the bubbles last longer than any of my relationships
Same bro
Hey why is that guy is here with Nate! As I can remember this guy was very rude to Calli.
Yeah they need to just not utilize him. At least he didn't say much in this one.
What do you mean “survive”?!?!
Hahaha true like if you can die
It's a technical term referring to being alive before and after an event. Having to be reanimated in between would still count, which definitely increases their chances for success in this one.
Paul Paulson nerd
Or even “jump into”
m nooooop
The fact that they upload so often needs to be appreciated
Who else have been watching The King of Random for more than a year?❤️😀
me
I’ve been watching since Grant was the host
Well I divorced two years ago and don't have a girlfriend, so what else am I gonna do.
Me
If needed, as a replacement for the synthetic veterinary lubricant, you can use guar gum, this is what we used in the giant bubbles we learned how to make from a lady in San Diego.
I was told glycerin.
something about nate making bubbles on a sunny day just warms my heart~ so sweet and wholesome
20 seconds in: "Bubbles are a lot of fun." That's it, that's the video. Roll credits!
Nate: 80 degrees Fahrenheit is a pretty hot day.
Me in El Paso TX: 80 degrees Fahrenheit is a pretty cool day
So we’re going to ignore the fact the the mystery characters Instagram info is a rickroll 😂😂
"we have a pretty hot day, probably 80F now"
It's 26C and that's not at all hot lol
You clearly don't live in England... 26°c is scorching hot up here 😂
Well, it´s definitely not cold though.
Jordan Memmott yep he definitely doesn’t
"Can You Survive Jumping Into A Giant Bubble"? Really? How dangerous is that?
And why didn't they actually even try it?
Instead of making floating giant bubbles, can you try to make standing bubbles on a flat surface? The kind that you can make on a plate with a straw, but to a much bigger scale.
How big can such bubbles be?
If the bubbles are big enough, can you try entering and exit without exploding them?
for once im early enough to do this, i just wanna say, this is a awesome one, i can tell already
Me too
6 years ago i got a sudden interest in aluminium casting. I searched around on UA-cam and found a video of Grant casting a sword and his charisma and personality got me hooked instantly.
Jernulf ok
Everyone who reads this have a great day!!
thanks
i appreciate it
Your welcome
It's funny going from a awesome intro of destruction, to a guy in bright shorts blowing bubbles. Lol
“Mystery host” link IS A FREAKIN RICK ROLL NOOOOO
Awsome.
Yes I fell for it too 😂😂😂😂
I purposefully clicked on it after I saw the comment. I enjoy the song.
Always has been
Is it??¿¿??
Watching the smoke blow into the air machine is just satisfying within itself.
Wait, no one even tried jumping in one though.
Ahh yes, your neighbors love you. Random fire, screaming, popping noises, and smoke/fog 😂
I haven’t played with bubbles in a long time now
I saw a demonstration when I was a kid.... the guy had 2 big metal wash basins filled with bubble solution, he placed a short stool in the middle of each one, then had a kid stand on each stool. Then using a big bubble wand he pulled a bubble up from one wash basin, over the 1st kid, through the air, down over the 2nd kid, and connected to the 2nd wash basin. The bubble only lasted a few seconds but it was really cool to see.
Put cornstarch in the washer.
i really like that you are crediting nighthawkinlight properly in this!
“It’s a fairly hot day, it’s about 80 degrees Fahrenheit” I LIVE IN ARIZONA WE PRAY FOR 80 DEGREE WEATHER
Same in Georgia. + Humidity
I may be 51, but when it comes to bubbles I'm still a child at heart. 😆
There is no age for bubbles i tell you
When I was a kid I just used shampoo and water to create some small bubbles 😂
I want to thank the whole King of Random Team and family for making such awesome and educational videos. Thanks to you I know how to make many things INCLUDING using salt and ice to make a super cooled ice pack, allowing me to take Ice cream to work (because yes I am a child. 😝😂) without it melting in transit! Best life hack ever. ❤❤❤
That’s a question no one asked but wanted an answer for
I can't believe you didn't try liquid nitrogen? Cooling the bubbles with the smoke to freeze them mid-air
How about filling bubbles with helium if that's possible.
Another cool bubble trick involves using a hula hoop in an inflatable kiddie pool. Put the bubble solution in the pool to a shallow depth, and you can use the hoop to form bubbles literally over/around any willing participants who sit/kneel/crouch/stand in the pool.
People that have already commented haven't even watched the video yet, it was only released a minute ago
Yes
Ive been watchin for 5 years
I really miss the old The King of Random when they used to have real projects
Spot welder made from old microwave and many other high quality projects
“A fairly hot day, at around 80F.”
Me: *laughs in south Louisiana heat/humidity*
Is that Keith?!
Use dry ice smoke not chemical smoke, the dry ice smoke is water vapour and its cold, so it will make the bubble last longer.
Independent variable: The type of bubble you make
Dependent variable: How it turns out
Controlled variable: The bucket
Steel Current ok
Florida Cooking I think I know what he had at school...
I get it, you had a hard time at school...
Your bubbles are likely popping fast with the smoke machine because the liquid used frequently in them Propylene Glycol based which is hydroscopic, meaning the moisture is absorbed by the smoke.
Random fact:
90% of the world’s population lives in the Northern Hemisphere.
Wowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowowo
But they say 90% live on the southern side because everything down there is reversed.
O hello, remember me?
I love seeing your guest assistant was from Kface TV.
Uh... I think everybody knows you can’t be killed by a bubble ;-;
Imagine being their neighbour/s, and as a bubble comes over the wall they look up at the wrong time and GIANT bubble pops over your head into your eye😬😷
I miss the old king of random where grant used to teach how us how to make cool stuff like the blowpipes and pocket shot. Anyone else feels the same?
Me!!!!😑😑
Now it's more like physics basics for dummies..
I’ve always loved the square bubble complex. Can you guys try to make a giant sized square bubble?? Like with huge poles or something?? ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow last time I was this early Grant was afk-ing in his basement
Plz like, this is the quickest I have ever been here and just got the notification
There is 1 view when I am watching
Refresh 1k
the use of survival as the hook for the video is just hilarious.
🥺OMG MR BEAST JUST COMMENTED ON MY 2 RECENT VIDS IM CRYING🥺
Stfu bot
This is exactly why I subscribed 2 years ago
giant bubbles are so fun to make!
Yeeeessssss
can you mix helium with air/smoke as you blow/fill bubbles to make them slightly lighter?
I bet your neighbors love the show
Hint to keep bubbles from popping; use glycerin at a 4% mixture and xanthan gum at 6% of the mixture on top of the normal bubble juice.
6 cups water
1 cup Karo® Light Corn Syrup
2 cups (16 ounces) clear dishwashing liquid
Makes really big bubbles instead of the animal lube
Bubbles with smoke in them look lowkey cool
Bet the neighbors love you Nate :)
Stayed up until three am just for this
I'm a weeb and a gamer also I stayed up all night to see random vids but this ain't random I've been watching this for a while yes I know grant thompson
Omg u guys should do experiments with glow sticks like make a giant one or freeze dry it and see if it still glows
New game: Take a shot (of whatever. Doesn't have to be alcoholic) for every time the word bubble(s) is mentioned 😂
I was the second one to view this video..and when l ended uo watching it..there were 6K views😍😍😍
I have done this with melting dry ice and it is a lot of fun.
I love that the mystery host’s link is a rick roll 😂
"Im a fan of this method"
Give that man a raise!!
You guys r best
For doing random things 👍🏻
You should hinge the 2 sticks at your end (the base) to keep the ropes aligned so they don't miss & break the bubble.
He said its hot at 80f it's 110 almost every day in texas
Your neighbours must love you ... :)
Nate- pretty hot day about 80°
California- 118° in the shade
If you are on the west coast of the US, you don't need a smoke machine to make smoke bubbles! It's sooooo smokey here. The AQI is over 300 in some places.
To 「STAND」inside a bubble, you need 「SOFTO ANDO WETTO」
This is gonna go over a lot of people’s heads
Best wishes, stranger.
Idea: Could you make bubbles that floats forever? Or at least make bubbles that is falling more slowly compared to other bubbles? Idk if that's possible or not.
Try to make a big bubble vertically.
Fan pointing up and a spring mechanism that pulls on the rope inside a bucket.
To thicken your bubbles and increase surface tension you can just use glycerin. Available in any supermarket or pharmacy.
I love bubbles! XD
That intro never gets old
Wow the king of random i havent watch you for years now you have 12 million subscribers in the old days you have like 1 million subscribers
Go on the roof and try it so it doesn't hit the ground so quickly
