As a middle aged bro, I wish you guys could have a discussion about eating for both gains and health. I’ve been cracking this code for a while and still feel like I haven’t perfected it.
After training for 23 years, up and down in strength and weight, I've come to realize that training is the fun part...diet will ALWAYS be the hard part. It sounds fun eating all day...and it is fun if you're eating junk food, but that gets you no where...until you eat a disciplined clean diet day in and day out for YEARS. The worst is when you're eating more than ever, and there could be months the scale doesn't move. That's maddening.
You don't understand he's literally a professor who has submitted dozens of peer-reviewed research papers right? Just because he's on steroids does not mean that he's uneducated.

The Vertical diet is a step in the right direction in both regards.
I have the discipline to train hard. Don’t have the discipline to eat so much. Thinking at 65, that may be fortuitous.
