I love watching these videos of ppl my age driving by themselves. It makes me feel not alone. I just got my license over the summer after having my permit since my sophomore year😂...I’m a whole senior and had driving anxiety and never liked driving but my parents bought me a car on Oct 30 which was completely unplanned and I am blessed for so now I love driving and don’t feel nervous driving by myself like I did one time using my moms car to drive to my school that’s literally around the corner😭

When I got my license 3 years ago which was June 2017 (I’ll be 21 in April) I could NOT drive anywhere by myself 😂 like, no where. When I hung out with my friends, they drove, going to school, my mom drove me there. It took almost a year for me to be able to actually go anywhere by myself 😂🤦🏼♀️

the bracelets are definitely expensive but its totally worth it because it helps the ocean:) and thats awesome that u dont have to parallel park, and they just have a machine where you get the tickets and they dont care enough to card you for it lol

Driving for the first time by yourself is really does provide a sense of freedom that you have never had before. I'm 71 but I remember that feeling driving by myself for the first time. You really do feel like you're 're ready to conquer the world. You looked really cute driving along wearing your Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses. I'm a retired optician and since you only recently got your driver's license you had to pass a vision test when you got your learners permit. So unless you're wearing contacts you're eyesight was at least 20/40 without any vision correction. But even by passing that if you haven't had your eyes checked in the past year or so you should plan on doing that because you're at the age where it's very common to start being a little nearsighted. So many screen devices, everything from your smartphone to the TV and you computer along with video games all have screens and those screens are taking a toll on nearly everyone's eyesight. Just curious, how well do you see at night when driving. If seeing road signs and billboards are harder to see that's an early sign of nearsightedness just so you know.
Hello! I do wear contacts and glasses most of the time!! My prescription is -0.75, I definitely had better vision when I was younger lol!!
@@averymay Thank you for your reply. First of all i'm glad to hear that you have apparently been getting regular eye exams. Normally optometrists won't prescribed glasses at -.25 which is the very weakest possible prescription anyone can have. Usually glasses will be prescribed at -.50 and the patient is told they should wear their glasses when driving at night and anytime they feel a need for them. At -.75 you aren't able to see 20/40 any longer without vision correction. So even if you don't have it written on your driver's license as a restriction you are still restricted to wearing either contacts or glasses when driving. In other words vision correction isn't an option for that. Otherwise when and where you wear your contacts or glasses is totally your decision. All the being said your eyesight really is still quite good without vision correction. Even though doctor's will fit you with contacts with such a weak prescription, personally I think it's a mistake for anyone to start wearing contacts until they are wearing glasses full time and have a prescription of at least -1.50. The only exception is for someone that plays a sport where they need to have the best possible vision possible, such as softball or archery or target shooting with a gun. The problem with wearing contacts is that most people put them on in the morning and don't take them off until that evening or even later. Doing that will make you much more dependent on full time vision correction than if yo only were to wear your glasses when needed. With your prescription if you were my patient I would have suggested that you should wear your glasses for driving of course and for things like going to see a movie, a concert, a sporting event, watching TV or anything that is at a distance that you need or want to see more clearly. I'm going to assume that you probably only recently were prescribed with glasses / contacts because your prescription is very common for a first time wearer. Now the bad new is because your still quite young your eyesight is almost certain to worsen over the next year. I say that because it's very normal for that to happen and you can expect another increase in the following year as well. Now the good news is that you're not too many years away from being twenty and you should expect that your eyesight will stop changing anywhere from around when your 19 to maybe 22 or 23. I do suggest that you don't fall in love with your contacts and wear glasses often instead of contacts. Keep this in mind, wearing contacts can result in things like eye infections, eye ulcers and even cause blood vessels to grow in the sides of your eyes. Wearing glasses will never cause any of those things. There's a reason why when you only wear glasses you only go back to get your eyes examined when you feel like your glasses may need changed, but when you wear contacts you MUST go back every year before you're allowed to order more contacts. Yes in part it's to check to see if you need your prescription changed, but the main reason is so the doctor can check the health of your eyes.
Please don't tell me that you don't like to wear glasses because you don't look good wearing glasses because I can tel, that you look every bit as attractive wearing glasses as you do without them. That is unless you somehow manged to pick out the ugliest glasses in the world and I doubt that based on your style with outfits.
