Maybe hot in the summer too. Out of all the cab minis we have had, none of the ac systems can seem to keep them cool in 85 and up. Winter will be nice though. Nice machine!
Nice machine. I'm glad they changed the door on them. When I looked at one of those a few years back, they had a glue seam up the middle so door would curve around side of cab. That was another reason I went with a Kubota. A couple of friends here have Yanmars and they can't wear them out. I love my Kubota though!

There is a ton more behind the scenes stuff that happens before any equipment moves even a shovel full of dirt. That said a young man of your age is more than capable of being successful at it, and you already have a leg up on being very successful because your motivated and want to be successful! I am not real familiar with the Excavation business Personally But with any business if you are motivated and committed you can and will be successful! Nice ! Yanmar makes great mini's.. my buddy has a 1992 B-50 and the thing is basically indestructible. It has like 16k hours on it and has only had to replace basic wear parts, it needed a new bucket at about 10k, a few bushings here and there, an occasional pin.. put a new set of tracks on it and that's about it. The engine, hydraulic system and drives are pretty much bullet proof.
Yanmar, kubota, japanese machines are the king, they have refinement and hydraulics down to a tee. There focus on fit and finish are undisputed.you made a great choice.i just bought a U 25 super series Kubota.

Nice mini, I’m thinking about getting that same one. When the sales guy explained how it would come, I imagined it but this video explains it. I have a vio50-3, Yanmar is the best at that under 12k operating weight...
As a truck driver that pulls nothing but box trailers I would have been really really hesitant about hauling that cuz I seen no good way to tie it to the floor and those straps that go in the E Track there only rated for couple of thousand pounds a piece. If I had hauled it. It would have looked like Spider-Man had been in their. I hope he had more than the two straps hanging in there on that machine.
50 open feet of trailer and no one at the dealership ever thought to toss in a couple of ramps? oh well...maybe next time at least that driver will ....enjoy your new toy!!

Well now, if you're going to buy a mini excavator you won't go wrong with a Yanmar. I like that cab style,..great for narrow and close work places , like foundation work etc.
That’s exactly right those pedals are on such a bad angle if you’re a bigger guy! That was on an older vio55 though. Spent a couple of years in a lot of awkward spaces in that machine, solid reliable workhorse reputation is well earned. Lb for lb it has good breakout power -used a leveling bar extension on a tilt bucket for finishing without any problem for a long time and the track motors never seemed to lack for power.
I rented a vio35 for a couple of months. The thumb on that one was quick too but I got used to it. Loved the machine. Very smooth but a bit weak on push power. I’m looking at a Kubota kx 040. But I might look at the vio50. I would be pulling behind my F550 on my new 7 ton PJ deck over from Riggsbee. The 40 with a cab, thumb, two buckets, quick connect, and fancy travel alarm is about 59. I’m wondering if the Yannie 50 might compare price wise.
Your 35 will outpush a kx 40. Yanmar is far superior they makes best mini hands down. I have had both. Now have a new 45. They invented the first mini.

Neal Equipment why are they the best in your opinion? Serious question. I've been looking at 4 ton minis but for my application, I need the brand that offers superior auxiliary hydraulics. Any thoughts?
@@wpog8453 The Yanmars are very well built machine, they very strong Hydraulics. there fast and smooth. pretty much everything you want in a excavator. I like my Kubota there good for renting out. they have a way of attracting the people. But for example I have a new Kubota U35-4 Cab. A 4 ton size machine. runs nice a well built machine, but the hydraulic speed and power is not what it should be.. If you where to compare it to a Yanmar VIO35, the yanmar would walk all over the Kubota. the yanmar 35 can pickup a 2x2x6 concrete block. no other 4 ton machine can really do that. Since I sell used equipment for a living I get the opportunity to try a lot of different machines. this is my unbias opinion. Note Gehl, and Mustangs are the same machine as a Yanmar. FYI
That’s an interesting sounding back up alarm that excavator has. I think I’m probably the only person that doesn’t get annoyed by those things. I’ve never can wrap my head around why people in the construction industry hate them so much. But I think the reason why I have such a hard time wrapping my head around that is because their designed to help people like me. And I really hate it when people push to turn them off because if there is a blind person on site at any given time it can be dangerous if the person does not know the thing is backing up.
Not hard to understand why people hate backup alarms, it's extremely irritating listening to that all day. If they did like Europe and start mandating white noise back up alarms it would be so much better.
The only machine i ever drove with a beeper i ran over someones foot. It turns out feet don’t have ears. Also i gotta say that bucket is to big for a heaped bucket of mud. Gonna be a balancing act trying to dig with it.
WPOG84 true story we got a 12k machine with a 24 and 36 in bucket. The 36 I’ve only used once. Ive also rented others in that class 36 in ditching bucket makes sense but 36 digging is crazy with our wet soils.
Sr i read a bunch of comments someone's asked about the price, but I don't see any answer, and my question it's the price too can anybody tell us the price of the excavator looks very nice. I just bought a small property and I will going to require one of those, specially i like that one. I live in Austin tx area I hope someone answer the question i really appreciate.
Steven Landers no it won't. That machine is around 6 tons
WPOG84 true story we got a 12k machine with a 24 and 36 in bucket. The 36 I’ve only used once. Ive also rented others in that class 36 in ditching bucket makes sense but 36 digging is crazy with our wet soils.
I believe you have just invented the semi truck backhoe
Nice machine sir. Not many pieces of equipment that can do the work that a Yanmar can on such a little sip of fuel.
Thumb war champion with that thumb👍
