I found this video at the perfect time. I just shot my first concert less than a week ago and am struggling with my edits. Happens to have been a metal concert as well. You have given me a ton of ideas to try out!
Love how such a 'simple' edit has such a profound effect on the look & feel of the image. I'll def be playing around with some of these edits next time. Thanks for sharing Dan!
bro you're insane. these look incredible, we favor each other a ton edit style wise. I just tend to not post my photos that I feel are "too edited" BUT from here on out I'm gonna post the ones I have doubts about. thanks dude
This stuff is wild, I don't understand how people even think of it in the first place haha, but excited to try some of these on shots they might be fitting for! 🔥
This was an amazing video, thank you Dan! - You talked about some effects I've been dying to try out on my own concert photos but didn't know how to do!! 🥳🥳
Awesome stuff man. Saw you working the CMFT show at the Rust Belt last week. It seemed like you were the only photographer there, only one I saw anyway. I would love to shoot shows like that someday. Keep up the great work!!
Any idea why photoshop 2024 doesn’t have any of the tools available on the left side. I trying to use the tabs above at the top but when I click them the drop down menu doesn’t present itself… help!

Awesome to hear, and keep crushing it! Don’t forget though, the greatest photogs are the ones you can feel without adding effects! 🤘🏻

Goto Window, then down to the "workspace" option. Should have options to reset your whole view!
great tut. thanks!
Do you edit on Lightroom first in these instances or jump right into photoshop?
Yep, always edit in Lightroom first then send it to Photoshop!
How
How can I help?
The original pics are better without the effects lol
