I was thinking this. I love Silverchair and had never heard of this song till now. It has the raw emotion of Neon Ballroom with the vocal style of Diorama. It's incredible.
im 15 and have grown up listening to silverchair, from dancing to freak show as a toddler till i picked up the bass at 8 and all i wanted to be was chris joannou :P i love these guys, you're never to old (or young !) for silverchair. this song is an absolute masterpiece, the emotion is amazing and i can't believe their musical progression over the years. can't wait till im old enough to see them live, it would be magical :)

I'm 27 now and always regret not seeing them live, especially since I'm Aussie. But my parents were strict and never let me go to a concert. Ugh I regret that so much now.
Grateful that the Too Much of Not Enough podcast brought me here. Didn’t like Diorama when it came out but a recent revisit has me completely obsessed. I think it’s a borderline masterpiece. Love all 3 B-sides too.

Here's where Silverchair reach the zenith.. But after they lose the path with Young Modern. I love that band, the evolution of the first 4 albums is amazing and they were only 21 o 22 at that time. But they were so young.. got influenced.. and moved on different ways letting the band over. It's a shame.

He's right. At first I thought it sounded more like a soundtrack to a film, but every time I was done listening to a song, I kept thinking about it and I came back, over and over again. Try "Too Much of Not Enough". It's a good one to start with.
