It cracks me up that people that live in a warm climate think that the 60 degree’s to so cold. During winter we had 2 feet of snow and -27 degree’s below zero.
For me in January it was -40🥶

It also depends where you live. In the United States they use Fahrenheit but most other countries use Celsius. 60°F is equal to about 15°C which is still quite warm where I live. 32°F is where it meets up to 0°C, and 0°F is -17°C, and at the -40 is where both scales are the same. I live in Saskatchewan Canada and in the winter we get down to -40°C and in the summer we get up to 38°C which is equal to -40°F to 100°F.

I have an expander too!
When I had my expander I got a lot of food stuck in it especially things like bread, hot dogs, and peanut butter. If she doesn’t already, Livvy might need to use a water pick to get all the food out.

Hey guys it’s Ryleigh. Your girls are so brave especially Liv because she was going to the orthodontist for the very first time ever and already had to get separators/spacers and an expander put in during only her first time ever going and was so brave getting both things in her mouth. And Hallie was brave as well getting ready for braces but she’s been more than once already and liv had never been and had to get separators/spacers and an expander put in at only her first time ever going. Can’t wait to see what both girls will look like after they both have braces and both get them off and to see their smile which will be even more beautiful. So your girls were both so brave especially Liv. So love you guys love Ryleigh.

It looks quite uncomfortable. I didn’t know Livvy was going to get one too. She still seems young for that but when I was just a little older than her, like age 9, I had an expander too.
I got mine was I was 7 but I guess it’s better to get them younger cause I got mine off at 9 and I’m 12 now and lots of kids at my school are getting them now but at least you don’t have to deal with them when your more older you can have a beautiful straight teeth

We did the spacers, palate expander, bumper on bottom teeth, and top braces.. Now we need more braces. So much fun!

I have an expander to for the first couple days it’ll hurt but you’ll get used to eating drinking and talking and when you have to turn the little knob, it will hurt a little bit after depending on who you are at least you guys you’re so brave. I’m so proud of you and I love your videos.

My teeth used to look exactly like Livvys, but I got braces and I still have them. My teeth were straight within 6 months.

Ikr Well she's 11 years old so that's almost preteen I remember when my hormones first developed I was 10 when that happened and when I turned 11 I got everything else

My mom has had braces but last June she got them again and her teeth are looking much straighter. She’s supposed to get them off in August and then a permanent retainer on her bottom teeth like me and probably a retainer for her top teeth that she’ll just wear at night.
My daughter had an expander and phase 1 in 2nd/3rd grade, then a second phase of braces in 5th/6th grade. The expander works wonders ❤
i had an expander, too! it only HURT hurt for the first couple times i turned it, then i got used to it. the only things i could eat were pastas though, everything else was a no-go for me texture wise LOL

Not everyone gets braces. It might be rarer then getting them but it does happen. I don’t know why her mom said that. I never got braces because I was told that I didn’t need them. Not everyone gets braces. It might be rarer then getting them but it does happen. The closet thing I have had to braces is a spacer. When I was thirteen I was told we’ll have to wait until they’re all in but the teeth that are in look really good. I was told at that time though that definitely when my wisdom teeth started to move that they would have to come out. A year later when I was 14 I was given the certainty by my dentist that I wouldn’t need braces. Then the summer before 9th grade I was told that it’s time for my wisdom teeth to come out. I have only had one cavity on my adult teeth because of one big space but that’s it.

I am so grateful that I wanted to get my after I lost all of my baby teeth one and done. My teeth are still so straight that my retainers still fit. The only thing I would advise is that before getting braces off, get your wisdom teeth out. If not your teeth might shift very fast. Also, our friend's kids did the phases of braces and they spent twice as much money there kids were in braces longer and the Invisalign did not work as well as they wanted. After finishing the treatment they moved again and then they went to doing mental ones instead.

Sorry. This is a lot of comments but my other friend GOT her braces on Nov 4 she says it dosent hurt as bad as you think it is I’m pretty sure you bite into a mold (that might only be for retainers) then the other thing that hurts is stretching you mouth

I still remember when the mom Chelsea said that if they didn’t have cavities for a straight year she would take them to Disneyland also I had braces when I was like 9 years old it’s been 8.5 years or so since I have gotten them off and now I have a permanent retainer on bottom and a clear one on top that I wear at night
Same. I have a permanent one on my bottom teeth and one I just wear at night on my top teeth. I had braces in stages. My full ones were on when I was 12 and I got them off after turning 14
I got my braces on top January 2014 my bottom braces March 2014 got braces taken off on both top and bottom in December of 2015 just 3 days before Christmas in 2015 that was a nice Christmas gift for me that year to have my braces off
Teeth look ruff on both of them. Hallie will be in a rude awakening when she gets those braces. They are painful and she will be needing rest and Tylenol. They also need to be sitting in the backseat. They are under 12 years old. See Hailie's attitude. That's your fault Chelsea when you show favoritism. It's always about Hallie.

The expander for me didn’t hurt, but I know sometimes it just irritates your gums and it’s just ahh!! It hurts so bad!!!!
Liv you have the same issue I had with two many teeth and not enough space. It all looks better in the end

My baby teeth were pretty much all gone in 3rd grade and in 4th grade I had braces on my top teeth, then they got taken off, and then I got full braces in 6th grade.

I was just like Hallie never loosing teeth and recently I just got 5 baby teeth pullin out but I been having braces cause I needed them and when I got them I still had like 7 or 8 baby teeth left and also when I was like 8 my dentist told me I needed braces but we waited because that was way to early!

Ahhh! I'm so proud of your girls for this big milestone reached in life ! I'm almost 12 (hallie is one month older than me) I had spacers, an expander and braces. I got my braces off in March and got them on in oct. 2022. But I had a expander and braces at the same time. Anyway, I was so happy I had them and they really payed off in the end. That was only my phase one thoo. But, I'm so proud of them for being brave and how livvy is so patient with the process! Love you guys !
I just got mine off recently but after a few weeks of turns it will start to hurt a bit but you are very brave so I know you will do it but if it does hurt eat a bit of ice cream or ices, the talking it does get super easy and also there are a few gadgets that are cheap and super easy to use for example at target they have cute mini toothbrushes that I recommend taking one in your school bag to get anything that gets stuck in the expander, also there is something different that goes in the hole if food gets stuck in the hole I would take some of those as well. This is best for Livy but Hallie and Ty can use them as well on target there are things called wisps and they are mini toothbrushes with toothpaste in the middle and u brush your teeth with them but they don’t foam up like normal toothpaste they just brush really quick! If you need any other tips or tricks just let me know and I’ll get back to you as quickly as possible
I have braces right now I’ve had them for 3 months now out of 12. And I will say it’s quite painful at the beginning but the pain goes away and only come backs for couple days after tightenings. You girls are very brave wonderful job!🎉
