Congratulations about getting a new puppy , when I saw Ty he was Super shocked and he had no idea what was in the crate, until he realized that he got a new dog.

(So many parents don't do this, and they treat the pet as though it is an object or a toy, so thanks for teaching them to be soft to animals :) )

So excited for you guys! I suggest you guys use a harness when the puppy is older. if you want any reccomendation let me know! Most brands of dog harnesses collars and leashes are good but you need to make sure they are sturdy and reliable and won't fall about in a day with a mouthing puppy. Some of my personal favorites are: RC pets. Puppia. Foggy dog. ruff wear.
