Christmas is such a time for memories. Loved your beautiful and fun finds. My twin sister passes away a couple of years ago. She lived in Germany for many years and collected wooden Christmas tree decorations and other wooden Christmas items. These have come to me and I use them every year. They have more value with the passage of time x
I know your heart is hurting with the passing of your twin sister. May her memory be eternal. Wonderful that you have her German Christmas decorations that will always bring joy and remind you of happier times.

Loved this! I am on the hunt for a Waterford Rose bowl. You don’t see much of Waterford where I live. Wish I was in your Christmas list!!! Happy thrifting. We had a themed Christmas a couple of years ago. It was called A thrifted Christmas. Everyone got at least one thrifted item. It was fun.
Love the idea of planning a thrifted item at a family Christmas gift exchange. We have done this for fun. I offered this Waterford Lismore rose bowl to a friend for what I paid. She had been asking advise on a gift for her daughter. I will deliver to a local florist closer to Christmas for a beautiful arrangement to be delivered.
I’ve always wanted one of those Christopher Radko cluster trees, but have not found one.
It was such a deal! Would have been fun to display.

I'm at the age where I should be looking forward to down sizing instead of buying. Having said that, there is a super nice consignment shop not too far from me. I try not to go in too often because I always come out with a few things I don't need. I often pick up small Lennox vases and give them as gifts.
Totally understand. Great idea to pick-up small Lenox vases to have in your gift closet. Another viewer recently mentioned that she gives thrifted gifts. If the recipient asks where she got it, her response is "from my favorite one-of-a-kind boutique". Love this!

Totally understand! I often see treasures while editing and can't believe I missed while in the store. Sometimes, I go back later to find them.
all thrift shops should be given a display course as it makes such a difference to buyers and will increase sales.
Good point. Some really could benefit from merchandising. Southern Comforts in Atlanta has a designer on staff. The store changes weekly.

So many lovely things! Make me wish for more storage space as always! I have always loved Spode Christmas. That Corelle holiday set was so cool. And I would have bought that gorgeous "Victorian" tree skirt in a second!
The string and nail art is not a new thing at all...we used to make all kinds of wall art with that method back in the '70s.

The best find of the day ----- the blue and white bowl. Wow, what a beauty. Yes, fill it with red amaryllis, and spanish moss to hide the pots. Lovely video.

You are correct! That was Heidi Daus with Swarovski crystal and turquoise. It's stunning in person.
Good eye! I was too distracted with the Swarovski crystals and stunning design to read the tag. The turquoise necklace was mesmerizing.

I really like listening to you, when you talk you show your heart, you so often talk about giving things as gifts and you also often mention specific pieces being for specific people that have the same set or interest, it shows how thoughtful you are.
I saw a Quimper teacup as you were looking. I swooned! I love faiance!
Oh, I just knew a viewer would spot a treasure that I missed. It is overwhelming with all the beautiful finds. During editing, I often see things that I had not noticed while filming.
It's not unusual that I return to the store a few days later to look for the "missed" treasures.
I have those silver candle holders. My husband bought them as well as salt and paper. I think I have the barest of crystal glass with the star. I hadn’t researched that yet. I’m glad I saw your video

Great finds! Show us how you used and displayed. I found several pieces of Waterford. A biscuit barrel for 14.00, a large clock 15.00, a large bowl 18.00, a candy dish 8.00 and a candle stick for 6.00. I’m sure they didn’t realize they were Waterford crystal. I’m not sure of the patterns but, I was so proud to add to my Waterford collection. We have many thrift and Antique store around the Dallas are. Thanks sweet Mary Beth for taking us along thrifting with you. Let me know if you need to know of the good places I shop.
My finds are waiting to be gift-wrapped or used in holiday decor. A few friends have asked if they could buy some items. I am a pushover. Ha! You have found some amazing Waterford deals!

I've never heard of the Charity Guild Shop. So I Googled it, and it looks like there is only one store in Houston, TX. Very interesting shop with high end items at affordable prices. I wish there was one closer to me. Thanks for showing it!
I bet that you can find charity resales in your area. Look for the video description, as I include the website and contact information. Most charity resales are a one store operation. Consignment stores would be another great option.
Gift and Decor choices are plentiful, here. My son lives in Richmond. The next time that I visit him and his fiancé, I will make time to browse at least one of the shops that you frequent. Excited!

I would love to shop at this charity thrift. Like others, I saw so many things I would have purchased. And I wouldn't wait for the price to drop.......I'd want it NOW!
The pricers at my neighborhood thrift don't seem to know the value of Waterford, Orrefors, Mikasa, Lenox and other high end brands. And I'm NOT gonna educate them!
I agree that there is no need to let your shops know about the brands. They price and you buy. I have waited for prices to drop and been hugely disappointed. If it fits my budget, I try and buy it when I see it.
