How to make a jump shortcut in intestinal properly (24:06)? Seems like you need to jump higher that usual but I cannot get the correct inputs for this
hold jump+left, followed by jump+right once it registers
@@technology4617 Sorry, but could you elaborate a little more? Do you need to hold jump+left while whipping (and getting plasmas) and press jump+right after touching the ground? I still cannot do it :(
it's important to whip the hook while the game "registers" that jim is moving horizontally at 3px/frame ("running" speed) to ensure that your hspeed off the hook is maximized. counterintuitively, this can work from a ducked standstill assuming a well-timed down-press.
from there, you'll need to buffer a leftward jump while swinging. you'll then need to change directions in midair (once the jump initiates) to avoid bonking a ceiling.
Normal is hard for Earthworm jim.
