My question is why do men think that after abusing a woman, they are entitled for the woman to take care of them.Who takes care of the woman? If a woman abuse a man, can the man be encouraged to stay and bear the consequences? Enough of these nonsense where people think they want to reap where they didn't sow. Marriage as we can see comes with, conflicts, contention, Fighting, quarreling, endurance, anger, threats, suspicions, reactions, romance ...... and from both sides. I believe you know the late odumegwu ojukwu, he married so many wives which he divorced, Bianca ojokwu was his last wife and the youngest woman he married but when ojokwu was sick in his last days his wife bianca treated him poorly and barely took care of him, as she left him mostly with house helps and went about her business and travelled. this isn’t rumors, it’s facts.
Example no 2, my uncle who married a 2nd wife who was about 30 years younger than him. When he was sick, the so called 2nd wife took care of him but after the week he died, the 2nd stole his 50 million naira and ran away with her only child and never attended his funeral, uptill this date she has relocated to uk and never contacted any of the family members.
You can marry another younger wife but be smart to stay on guard because she is giving her youth out to an old man in exchange of what she can benefit. If it doesn’t favor her, her wickedness will come out but if the situation favors her she will nurture the man.

Sorry, if a father or mother abandons one in their early days, why would they want anything from that child later on. We have to always have it at the back of our head that we'd grow old and the children would grow up. Every case is individual. Some mothers suffered in the hands of men, and it had a toxic effect on the children that caused a trauma on the child into adulthood, which affected their own marriages. The Muslim woman on this program has my view. Wickedness would be forgiven but not forgotten. So if the woman abscond when she can...so it should be. The suffering woman is entitled to some years of happiness.
So what is shown in nollywood movies is true- husbands abandoning you & child in the hospital; kicking you out you are sleeping outside- your parents won't let you come back; taking another wife at a whim and putting you out
beating your wife. The woman is always expected to forgive but abusive husbands are not expected to make any improvement- i.e. anger management etc. BTW children automatically inherit their parents' issues children ARE NOT DEAF, DUMB ,BLIND AND STUPID. You have a point, but kids are are smart, they know more than you think, we take them for granted but they brain works very well, per experience, nobody can brainwash a child, they see everything and understand what what on. Father's who takes care of their kids they get love from the kids.

Men shouldnt see their partners as just a wife but someone they cant do without, like the value you place on your life. ( Meaning unconditional love) Treat your good wife better and respectivefully, she will stand by you even when the whole world is against you. Mothers in the old days used to stay through the worse in marriages (consistent domestic violence and infidelity) but that was before not now. The world has evolved and changed drastically. Women are much wiser and ready for a quick divorce to move on with life, live in peace and train the kids, if any.
