You're so happy now Burning a candle at both ends Your self-loving soothes And softens the blows you've invented Breathe in deep, and cleanse away our sins And we'll pray that there's no God To punish us and make a fuss Crack's healing up Future soul forgive this mess You wait twenty years And wind up alone, demented Breathe in deep, and cleanse away our sins And we'll pray that there's no God To punish us and make a fuss Breathe in deep, and cleanse away our sins And we'll pray that there's no God To punish us and make a fuss
The lyrics are so powerful, we all know by now they do concept albums.... add this song and futurism to the end of appropriate albums. Listen to the first three while knowing who lilith is...
Can we just take a minute to appreciate the absolution B-sides. I mean my god, the groove, eternally missed and fucking fury! I like them more than most of the songs on the actual god damn album
@@MbareCalo You're absolutely spot on. And it speaks volumes that even 2 years on from my original comment, at a time when I don't really listen to muse albums at all anymore, I still come back to that one b-side more than any other muse song. It's amazing.
Small Print is just as good as this song. The problem was that they decided to make a choice out of these 2 great songs for 1 spot on the album, when songs like Endlessly and Thought of a Dying Atheist (easily the 2 weakest songs on the album) made it through. It was a tough choice, so you shouldn't blame Chris and Dom on this one.
Isaac Morales Yeah true. Small print is one of my favourites, but I must I like Fury just a tad bit more. But I'd rather lose Thoughts of a dying atheist more than any other song off absolution. Endlessly I don't actually mind tbh.
Zero dislikes! But how can anyone argue with Heavy like this? A wall of sound this dense could stop bullets. For best results, get out a big pair of grips and turn your volume control hard clockwise to Eleven, and make sure the neighbours three blocks down can hear it!
actually a tragedy this wasn't included in the album's physical release. was wondering why this album didn't score as high as i thought it would til i found out this was a b-side track. insane
loved muse for 20 years and only found this song 10 years ago. why did they have to cut this from OoS? it could have been the strongest song on the album. easily my favourite. meditate on it to go to some scary places
Crash Aran After looking it up, you are correct. I was used to seeing the spaceship cover art as I got the single off of iTunes. However I am not wrong, it is also at the end of the SFA music video.
kinda. They’re both in C major and shepherds boy’s tempo is pretty much exactly half of this. Except the chord in this part of fury is a D minor and I think it’s an A minor in that part of a Shepherds Boy. so similar enough
A single Muse B-side is better than most artist's best album.
I still can't believe that this is a b-side
yes it's one of the best songs by muse ever
I like Thoughts of a Dying Atheist as much as the next man, but I'm amazed *that* made it onto the album, and this masterpiece was left behind.
LabradorIndependent blame Dom and Chris, Matt is also always salty about Fury's fate
@@LabradorIndependent well thoughts of a dying atheist suits more with absolution
@@LabradorIndependent Thoughts of a Dying Atheist is my favourite muse song. I know there are probably not too many people who feel that way though.
That bassline. It's outta space!
The bass is *oh god* so FUCKING EPIC
Eager_Swallow Thank you :3
+Fallen Angel (Sixx) Chris is fucking awesome!
+Fallen Angel (Sixx) It's so simple, yet so epic... So epic..
sounds evil >:)

And The Groove
Damn I didnt even know eternally missed was a b-side
One of the most well written songs Matt has ever written. Too bad Chris and Dom couldn't see that.
Small Print is just as good as this song. +Isaac Morales Thoughts has a nice tune but it doesn't compare to this. It should have been switched.
Marcsman07 Agreed
Sune Weisberg Pedersen Endlessly was not bad, but it would have fit that b-side role instead.
3:47 - An orgasm doesn't even hold a candle to this degree of pure ecstasy
the feeling when im discovering good music
my favorite muse song
A masterpiece whose value is not appreciated by people
Zero dislikes! But how can anyone argue with Heavy like this? A wall of sound this dense could stop bullets. For best results, get out a big pair of grips and turn your volume control hard clockwise to Eleven, and make sure the neighbours three blocks down can hear it!
+Kevin Zabbo THINGS CHANGE!
Try listening to some sludge like electric wizard or melvins
Sweet!
I have got a feeling, that my ears have started to become fluid from this riff
actually a tragedy this wasn't included in the album's physical release. was wondering why this album didn't score as high as i thought it would til i found out this was a b-side track. insane
It’s on the Japanese physical release
How. Come thia has only 150k views??? I mean wtf! This is AMAZING
And we'll pray that there's no god, to punish us, and Megan Fox (cannot unhear)
That intro 💕
My Muse song n. 8
Simply: beautiful. :')
And we'll pway that there's no god to punish us and make a fuss...
and Megan Fox
Pwoper lyrics
Wow that was a pwoper coincidence... just read this as matt sung the line :D
Dat bass *_*
Dat third chorus

Lovely
Awesome picture choice. Like, that's fucking awesome. So appropriate man - good taste.
Oh yeah, this song is the epitome of badass, btw.
+GottaloveMuse1 In case you didn't know and were interested, that picture is from the end of the Sing For Absolution music video.
Crash Aran After looking it up, you are correct. I was used to seeing the spaceship cover art as I got the single off of iTunes. However I am not wrong, it is also at the end of the SFA music video.
+AppocalypseKitty117 The cover for the VINAL single.
VIDEO TECH SCORPION What?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
do you hear souls singing?
at 3:46
Bruh, yeah, it's orgasmic
Matt has an angelic voice :')
YES!!!!! Ohh you have a thom york thing on your profile ::0 do u like radiohead too?=
hot
I need to listen this song In Milan in may ❤❤❤❤
+Chiara Polimeni I would also like to, but according to their average "Drones World Tour" setlist it's practically impossible ((
0:51 The Sheperd's Boy from Doctor Who?
kinda. They’re both in C major and shepherds boy’s tempo is pretty much exactly half of this. Except the chord in this part of fury is a D minor and I think it’s an A minor in that part of a Shepherds Boy. so similar enough
This is from Absolution, the last song right?
I'ts a b side actually, the band was divided between this song and the small print, so they voted and won the second one
But it is in absolution on spotify
@@Matteo-mv7ds Well, after 15 years they have decided yo add It. But not in the original release
@@danielguinea2971 yes, i checked the original CD, and It isn't there, thanks for the comments and for the help
its a Japanese bonus track
3:23 -Wow

I don't know why but it kinda reminds me of Nirvanas You Know You're Right.
❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
:) tune
ooooooooooooooooooo
Sounds soooo like Katatonia

if someone were to try and make a song that sounds like muse, it'd probably sound like this
