Wohooo!!!! this was such a game changer when i found it. Alot of people claim oh just change it to 100 in the game settings but it never sets ot to a clean 100 it always left it with random numbers like you exprienced :D. i got more content in the works and guides for making pubg simply run better.

Omg. I just tryed it and its a night and day diffrends. For what ever reason in my config i had completly diffrent scaling settings. you helped alot. thank you.

Edit: This fix also improved my latency in game. Also i have just learned i was blind since the very begining...
Isn’t this the same as setting in game render scale to 120? I’m sure this tanks fps no?
Hey ty for the comment :), no this is an issue caused by changing the render scale in game and what results is the render scale even though showing 100 in game is really something like 98.12312 or 100.131 which the UE4 engine PUBG runs on cannot scale properly so the game ends up blurry because the engine defaults itself back to 70 render scale as the value is not a true integer value

i know its not good to have it over 100 scale but my FPS aint too bad with it at 120 anyways. as long as i stay above 144 im happy
120 is fine if you have the GPU capacity to support and it will make the game look alot better again on top of the default 100. esentailly giving you 4k gaming :). the main thing as long as its a full value in the config file it will look mint :)
Im just to competative and want as much FPS as possible but also im on an AMD plaftorm and am suffering FPS issue.
@@Laubster__ what fps do you normally get? i dont really have the best PC but im finding my AMD alllllll good eh. pretty much 3-4 year old parts for me but ive been able to tweak everything to get normally around 200fps dropping to 120 sometimes in yas or something big like that
@@lordofsmgs I’m running a 5950X and a 3080 gpu and will go from 150fps to below 90 in chinki and stuff but then other times it’s ok. I was having the same issue with my old 2060 was doing the same when before used to get over 200+ on it without issue
Get the 5800x3D! Gained 100 FPS in all scenarios and don't drop below 200 on hot drops. 2080Ti.
Will give this a try when i can get to my machine tomorrow, strangely today i didn't have any graphical errors but still hurrendous latency issues. Made my game almost unplayable for months.

epic!! im glad it worked for you, yeah the 100.124312 render scale is such a silly issue and comes about if the game randomly goes to Windowed mode and back again. even when doing Alt Enter twice it still doesnt fix it leaving it at a value like you had.

i tried this and somehow i saw my resolution quality is set to 70?...but on lobsters config file is at a 100
I dont recommend setting it over a hundred cuz its going to impact your fps
yup 100% agree hence me making a joke about people being crazy setting it to 120 haha :), thought i have friends with 4090s and they run it at 120 with no issues :)

The origin is 100 but the backup keeps making it 99.830925? I still have this issue. I am playing full screen. I have to alt-enter?
This would likely be caused by having Steam Cloud enabled, the cloud sync will have a broken file stored, you can turn off steam cloud sync in your STEAM preferences :)
@@Laubster__ Thank you, had to reinstall all PUBG and Steam. No more backup. I was also not in unlimited frames in lobby but 30. I will keep at 30 since in game its not as bad now.
yeah I have a question. Why does my game blur when I move my mouse on the screen? because when I stop moving it, it goes back to normal and when I go into the settings it doesn't blur, it only blurs in the lobby, lobby tabs (like the shop, etc.) and in game when I move my camera around.
Hey, to me it sounds like there is some form of Vsync setting taking place or some Dynamic resolustion scaling that has been enabled and is causing weird issues. Depending on the GPU you are using there should settings relating to Super Resolution and id recommened checking and turning them off. other than that id suggest monitoring PC temps you can use HWMonitor or HWInfo64 they are both great bits of software :)
@@Laubster__ yeah I fixed it, I somehow enabled movement based dynamic resolution in AMD Radeon Adrenaline so I turned it off and now its all good
@@QuackQuack6 epic! yeah thats the most common thing is the DSR stuff its annoying my Nvidia card enables it randomly with driver updates too

not a noob question at all :) and no 100% is fine to do as its simply correcting the reference that game is reading from for configuration.
I changed my render scale in game multiple times. And yes I have the gloving and blurry stuff. But when I open .ini file, I see ScreenScale=100.000000 So is it mean I can do nothing with the problem?
There is a bug that can happen from time to time with the configuration file itself where it gets stuck in a sync loop. a friend of mine got this where we couldnt change the Aim and AIM/ADS setting at all.
The only way we were able to fix it was by removing the Config file entirely, verifying game cache and then opening the game to generate a new config file. just make sure to take a note of any bindings and sensativity settings.

Do you need to do that every time u start your game or no?
No this is only needed if your game goes to windowed mode randomly as that is the main cause of it this is usually a set and forget. but i still check once a week to be safe haha :)

Why may mouse when I was moving my pubg Is Blurring
Can be many things but couple things to check either V SYNC is enabled or you have motion blur turned on in the settings.
Also inside of Nvidia Control panel or AMD Adrenaline check that your MONITOR refresh rate is set to its MAX. alot of ppl buy 144-360Hz monitors but forget to set the refresh rate to its max
