A person can only have a relationship with Jesus Christ when he or she is born again in their spirits or saved. A born again person's soul goes to heaven but the soul of a person who is not born again or has rejected Jesus Christ and His gospel goes to hell and burns for eternity. God does not permit the souls of those in heaven or hell to communicate with their families or anybody on earth. So Satan's evil spirits or demons impersonate the dead relatives and fool ignorant people that they are their dead relatives. That is why they are called familiar spirits. If you slaughter animals for them you have made an agreement wirh Satan whether you are aware or not. Satan doesn't care how you enter into agreement with him.
